Lillian's lips curled up wryly. She then gestured towards Killean, who stared at them innocently, twirling his rapier in the air like a wand.

"Well, you see Marionette... I already decided to spar with—"

Marionette turned her gaze away from Lillian and towards the green-haired man, who stared back curiously.

She then asked in a cold tone:

"Mr Markslon. You don't perhaps mind if I have Lillian as my sparing partner now do you?"

Killean shrugged, glancing at Lillian before responding:

"That's whatever, Miss Arius decides. If she wishes to duel with me then I will be joyful, if she decides to duel with you then I don't mind either," he said with a cheeky grin.

This caused Marionette's eyes to narrow before staring down at Lillian.

"Well? Are you going to spar with him or with... me? Just so you know... I am in need of a sparing partner now..." she said in a low tone.

Lillian sweated a little. She pulled against her collar and nervously looked to the side, staring at a certain carefree girl approaching them, while waving their hand.

"Heya guys! Whatcha guys up to—"

Lillian then ran away from Marionette and wrapped her arms around Millis's side.

"Millis! My best of buddy!" Lillian yelled as she pressed against her side.

This shocked Millis a bit as she seemed to grin smugly at the raven-haired girl before wrapping her arms around Lillian as well.

"Wassup girl? What got ya to wrap around me like this now? Could it be I'm finally more attractive to ya eyes than red-eyes over there?" she asked in a cheeky tone.

Lillian's right eye twitched at her words.

"Well... I'm going to need you to..." Lillian hovered her face before Millis's ear and began whispering.

Millis nodded periodically at her words with her hand under her chin like a scholar listening to his professor.

While this was happening, Marionette stared at the two women's bodies pressed tightly against each other.

She wasn't entirely sure why but this sight caused her face to twitch unconsciously. In addition to that, seeing as their arms were wrapped around each other's bodies also had a strange reaction to her.

This reaction grew slightly more apparent as she stared at their chest were smushed against each other.

Her narrowed eyes eventually returned back to normal once Lillian stepped away from Millis, who had a thoughtful look on her face.

Lillian moved her face from Millis's ear and then asked:

"You understand my plan?"

Millis nodded strongly with her arms folded.

"Of course! This plan was hella easy to understand."

"Are you willing to go through with it?"

"Definitely! If it means I can piss off red-eyes over there, then I'll do it!"

Millis grinned, turning her nose to the sky, imagining the plan and being ignorant of the cunning smirk Lillian was giving.

"Yep... totally..."

Lillian then turned towards Marionette and waved, "Hey~! How do you feel about having Millis over here as your sparing partner instead of me?" she asked in a cheerful tone.

Marionette stared at her silently before nodding.

"I'll accept her as your replacement..."

Lillian nodded happily, noticing in the corner of her eyes the look she was getting from Millis.

Millis stared at her with wide betrayed eyes and a stiff body, "This... wasn't the plan... bro—"

CLANG!

Just after finishing her sentence, Millis hurriedly raised her sword, blocking a swift strike from Marionette that launched her back.

Lillian watched as Marionette followed after Millis. She stared at them with an apologetic look.

Lillian then placed her hands together into a prayer.

'I'm a really bad friend... but I rather have this little reputation I have to stay up.'

Reputation was an important factor in everyday life. And it was especially so if she wanted to have a chance at getting into the Student Council.

Why does she want to get into such an important group like that?

Because first... it would be pretty cool. The thought of being in such a prestigious role is quite a dream of hers like any other person.

But of course, she really just wants to have some more connections just in case. Nothing wrong with that.

However, she wasn't going to be too hung up on the goal of trying to get it—it wasn't really necessary for progression.

Lillian stared back at Killean, who just watched as Millis ran away from Marionette before turning his head back to her with a soft chuckle.

"You seem like the person to lovingly bully someone."

"..."

Lillian stared at him with a deadpan expression before brandishing her blade towards him.

"Let's duel."

The duel wasn't that much different compared to last time.

CLANG! CLANG!

While Lillian was much more nimble and flexible than Killean, he was undoubtedly stronger physically.

But it was somewhat hard to tell when each clash was short-lived.

However, there was something much different in this duel compared to the last.

Lillian ducked and swung her blade towards his in hopes of disarming him.

Instead of kicking at her like last time, he instead backed away, getting into a more defensive stance.

Lillian raised a brow as she got back up, 'So I'm the one that going to be offensive this time?'

Just as she was about to dash towards him, in the corner of her eyes, she watched as the back of a familiar purple-haired girl crashed into her.

THUD!

They crashed onto the ground roughly, dazed.

Lillian felt slightly crushed under Millis's body, which wasn't quite bad to be under given her... features...

Lillian tilted her head towards Millis, who had her head resting on her chest with swirling eyes.

"Ugh..." she let out a dizzy groan as she recovered.

Once recovering, Millis stared at Lillian with a betrayed and tearful look.

"The plan was for us to act really close to one another..."

"I mean... we can now...? Hehe..." Lillian chuckled nervously as she got a glare from Millis.

"After I've been beaten up!?"
