Chapter 415: Chapter 415: A Tough Guy’s Tender Heart
Jasmine Sinclair didn’t think she was being rude at all. She said pointedly, "What if I told you I have some dirt on Claire Sinclair?"
Hearing this, Vincent Webb frowned but didn’t say anything, waiting for her to continue.
Jasmine Sinclair slowly explained, "My mother was once married to Claire Sinclair’s father. They later divorced, but during that time, I lived with Claire under the same roof. You can check for yourself if you don’t believe me. Just ask her neighbors, and you’ll know I’m telling the truth."
Vincent Webb asked in a low voice, "What dirt do you have on her?"
Jasmine Sinclair gave a slight smile. "This isn’t the right place to discuss it. I’ll contact you again after the banquet, Director Webb. You wouldn’t mind giving me your card, would you?"
Vincent Webb considered for a moment before pulling a golden business card from his pocket and handing it to her. "Remember, you can only call me between noon and 1 PM. I won’t answer otherwise."
"Mm-hmm~" Jasmine Sinclair took the card, nodding with a smile.
Just then, Hugh Carson returned from the restroom.
Looking at Hugh Carson’s disgusting beer belly, Jasmine Sinclair felt increasingly repulsed.
’If it weren’t for money, who would ever marry such a disgusting old man? Now that I have the business card of the second-richest man in the country, why would I worry about finding someone better?’

The banquet didn’t end until 11 PM.
Claire Sinclair was exhausted and let out a yawn after the spectacle.
Just as she was about to leave, Adrian Quincy suddenly called out to her. "Claire, wait a moment."
"Hm?" Claire Sinclair looked at him in confusion.
Adrian Quincy took the cape from his own shoulders and draped it over hers. "The temperature’s dropped outside. Wear this on your way back so you don’t catch a chill."
Then, he leaned in close to her ear and added in a voice meant only for her, "Wait for me at home."
His warm breath on her cheek sent her heart fluttering, and her mind went blank for a long moment before she could react.
Adrian Quincy then helped her to her feet and said in a low voice, "You should head back now."
Claire Sinclair nodded. "Goodbye, Mr. Quincy."
Then she turned to Ethan Kingsley and Princess Morinka. "Goodbye, Mr. Kingsley. Goodbye, Princess Morinka."
A roguish smile played on Ethan Kingsley’s lips. "See you around."
Morinka merely nodded without a word.
Under the watchful eyes of everyone present, Claire Sinclair left, wrapped in Adrian Quincy’s army-green cape.
The moment she was gone, the room erupted in hushed chatter.
"Claire Sinclair is so lucky!"
"SOB... I want Young Master Quincy’s cape too! That was so cool and sweet of him!"
"Young Master Quincy is the perfect example of a tough guy with a tender heart."
"Yeah, I never thought such an aloof man could be so gentle with a woman. I like him so much more now!"
"That’s it, my heart is broken. Young Master Quincy doesn’t love us anymore..."

After leaving Valorian Manor, Jasmine Sinclair made up a lame excuse about meeting a friend to get rid of Hugh Carson.
Jasmine Sinclair got a room at a nearby hotel. The moment she was inside, she pulled out Vincent Webb’s business card and eagerly dialed the number.
To her disappointment, there was no answer.
Jasmine was furious. ’That old bastard! Who does he think he is, acting so high and mighty!’
But unfortunately for her, he really was that big of a deal.
After several failed attempts to call, Jasmine Sinclair resorted to sending a text: Director Webb, let’s schedule a time to meet.
After what felt like an eternity, she finally received a reply.
Vincent Webb: I will have my assistant contact you.
Jasmine Sinclair: You’d better be quick. The conference will be over in a few days, and I’ll be leaving with my husband.
Vincent Webb: Wait for my assistant’s call.
