Chapter 666: The Truth Behind Rovak’s Power

As the auction approached its final stage, Selene stepped forward with a slightly different smile.

"Before we continue with the final items, let us welcome someone who has become quite famous recently."

The screens around the auction hall changed, and a familiar figure soon appeared.

Rovak.

He stood there with his usual huge grin and waved one massive hand toward the countless viewers.

"Hello, hello, dear customers!"

The bidding channels immediately became active.

[Rovak?!]

[The one from God Gym’s livestream!]

[That monster who destroyed the Black Fang Pirates alone?]

Rovak laughed loudly. "Looks like plenty of you recognize me."

He raised one hand. "This time, I’m here to tell you that three slots for God Gym’s hidden ultimate training will be auctioned today."

The channels exploded.

Questions appeared almost immediately.

[What exactly is hidden ultimate training?]

[Can anyone join?]

[Does it really turn Peak Awakening Realm cultivators into Star Realm beings?]

Rovak grinned. "Just like I said in the livestream, the hidden ultimate training can directly turn a Peak Awakening Realm cultivator into a Star Realm being."

The entire auction became quieter.

Rovak continued, "There are requirements, though. You must already be at the true peak of the Awakening Realm, and more importantly..."

His grin became savage. "You need the will to die."

Several bidding channels immediately went silent.

Rovak laughed. "If you survive and succeed, you become Star Realm. No slowly stabilizing your foundation for years, no struggling to form everything step by step, none of that annoying bullshit."

That statement caused an even bigger reaction.

For countless Peak Awakening Realm cultivators, the greatest problem was not merely reaching the Star Realm. It was surviving the transition and creating a stable enough foundation afterward.

If God Gym could truly bypass that process, then the value of those three slots was far greater than many had expected.

A rough voice suddenly came from one of the bidding channels. "Rovak."

Rovak paused. "Hm?"

The voice continued, "We are elders of the Drakhor Race."

Rovak’s eyes immediately lit up. "Oh! Elders!"

The Drakhor elder ignored his cheerful tone. "Explain the transformation you used during the livestream. Our race has no known transformation ability like that."

Rovak grinned. "Oh, this?"

He immediately uttered the ancient words.

"DRAHM KHAR! GOR VRAK! ROVRAKAR!"

BOOOOOOM!

Dark-red bloodlight erupted around him as his body transformed into the same monstrous humanoid form seen during the livestream.

The auction channels fell silent.

Rovak spread his arms proudly. "This is actually the main effect of God Gym’s hidden ultimate training."

His grin widened. "It unlocks the core of your power. The thing inside you that even you might not know exists."

The Drakhor elder’s voice became more serious. "And yours?"

Rovak laughed. "Mine is related to Drakhar."

Silence followed.

Rovak’s monstrous grin widened even further. "You could even call this the Son of Drakhar form. It uses the traces of Drakhar’s bloodline flowing through our race."

For the first time, the Drakhor elders lost their composure. "What?!"

Rovak laughed loudly. "Of course, other races won’t get the same thing. Your result depends on your own bloodline, race, soul, path, and power."

He pointed toward the auction screens. "So if you don’t want to miss your chance..."

Rovak chuckled shamelessly. "Hehehe. You better fight hard for those three slots."

---

Inside the Ignis Dragon Clan’s private auction room, Patriarch Dravion Ignis watched Rovak’s presentation with a thoughtful expression.

The three God Gym training slots had not even officially opened for bidding yet, but he had already made his decision. "Prepare more money."

Elder Varan turned toward him. "Patriarch?"

Dravion’s golden eyes remained fixed on the screen. "Let’s compete for one slot for Kaelvar."

Varan looked slightly surprised.

Dravion leaned back calmly. "Kaelvar is still a genius. Losing to Dahlia does not change that."

He paused for a moment before adding, "I also want him to spend more time around her."

Varan immediately understood.

Dahlia was simply too powerful and too unusual to ignore. If Kaelvar could build a good relationship with her, there would be no disadvantage to the Ignis Dragon Clan.

Varan nodded. "Understood."

Elsewhere, inside the Verdest Dragon Clan’s private auction room, Elder Ryvane Verdest narrowed his pale jade eyes. "Prepare the money."

One of his subordinates hesitated. "Elder, do we really need one of the slots?"

Ryvane gave him a flat look. "A lower-world dragon like Dahlia was trained until she became powerful enough to defeat Kaelvar Ignis. Now Rovak has gone from Peak Awakening Realm to Star Realm."

His expression became more serious. "God Gym must possess an extremely powerful cultivation method. We cannot afford to miss this chance."

Inside another private room, Matriarch Cazra Malachor sat silently beneath dim violet lights.

Her fingers rested against the armrest as she remembered Paren’s refusal to answer her questions. "That man would not tell me anything about God Gym’s origin."

A cold smile appeared on her face. "Fine."

She looked toward the auction screen. "I’ll use this chance to see just how powerful God Gym really is."

Meanwhile, Elder Aztar of the Azure Battle Palace watched Rovak’s monstrous form with a hard expression. "Prepare more money."

One of the palace members beside him frowned. "Elder?"

Aztar crossed his arms. "Even we cannot directly turn a Peak Awakening Realm cultivator into a Star Realm being without years of stabilization afterward."

His eyes narrowed. "If what Rovak said is true, then God Gym has accomplished something even the Azure Battle Palace cannot easily do."

Aztar looked toward the screen again. "Let’s take one of those slots and see if we can replicate the process later."

Meanwhile, Paren watched the auction from his office, silently praying that the three God Gym training slots would sell for an absurd price.

A very specific ringtone suddenly came from his communication device.

BZZZT! BZZZT!

Paren froze.

His hopeful expression disappeared as he slowly looked toward the caller information. "What the hell?"

The moment he saw the name displayed on the screen, his face turned pale.

He quickly grabbed the communication device with both hands. "Why the hell is Supervisor Bruno calling me now?"
