Chapter 667: Garion Buys Another Hell
Paren stared at the communication device for a moment before finally answering the call.
Supervisor Bruno’s projection appeared almost immediately.
Paren straightened his back. "Supervisor."
Bruno did not waste time with greetings. "Paren, can you get those three God Gym training slots for us?"
Paren froze. "Supervisor, I already gave those slots to the auction. Taking them back now could upset the participants and damage the auction’s reputation."
Bruno shook his head. "No, no. That’s not what I mean."
Paren blinked. "Then what do you mean?"
Bruno leaned back slightly. "Call God Gym."
Paren’s expression became more cautious.
Bruno continued, "If what Rovak said is true, and that hidden ultimate training really pulls out something hidden deep inside a cultivator’s bloodline, soul, path, and power, then I want three additional slots."
Paren stared at him in surprise. "Three more?"
Bruno nodded.
Paren hesitated. "Garion probably won’t give them cheaply."
Bruno’s expression remained calm. "I know."
He paused for a moment before continuing. "For payment, tell him I can give him Floating Hell Island."
Paren’s eyes widened. "What?"
Bruno repeated calmly, "Floating Hell Island."
Paren immediately fell silent.
Despite its name, Floating Hell Island was not an island inside some planet. It was an enormous landmass floating directly in outer space, almost like a miniature world without a true planetary body.
Its environment was also infamous.
The conditions inside Floating Hell Island were many times worse than those of the brutal planet Garion currently owned. Violent gravity, unstable storms, destructive energy zones, deadly terrain, and natural disasters existed almost everywhere.
Most people considered the place nearly useless.
Paren slowly rubbed his forehead.
Normally, he would have assumed no sane person would accept something like that as payment.
Unfortunately, the person he needed to ask was Garion.
Paren remembered the disaster planet, the insane training methods, and the smile Garion always made whenever something dangerous appeared.
His mouth twitched.
The more he thought about it, the more likely Garion was to accept.
After all, Garion was crazy.
Paren looked at Bruno’s calm expression and slowly nodded. "It seems Supervisor already understands Garion a little."
Bruno smiled faintly. "I’ve read the reports about him."
Paren’s mouth twitched.
Bruno continued, "If the information is accurate, then Garion seems to have a strange preference for dangerous environments."
Paren immediately remembered Garion’s current planet and sighed. "That’s putting it lightly."
Bruno chuckled. "Exactly. If I’m right, he should like Floating Hell Island."
Paren nodded. "Honestly, ’like’ is probably an understatement. He’ll probably love it."
He glanced at the communication controls in front of him. "In that case, Supervisor, I’ll connect you directly to him. It’ll be better if you negotiate with Garion yourself."
Bruno nodded calmly. "Sure. Connect the call."
At God Gym’s temporary base, another communication signal suddenly appeared beside the auction screen.
Garion raised an eyebrow. "Another call?"
Mirena glanced at the notification. "It’s from Paren."
Garion nodded. "Accept it."
Mirena activated the connection.
A moment later, two new projections appeared.
Garion looked at Paren first. "Why are you calling me during the auction?"
Paren sighed. "Garion, my supervisor wants to meet you."
He gestured toward the second projection. "This is Supervisor Bruno, overseer of the Astral Dragon Cosmic Terminal."
Garion immediately looked at Bruno with curiosity. "Oh, hello there."
He grinned. "What can I help you with? Do you want to train?"
Bruno stared at him for a moment.
Paren quietly looked away.
Bruno finally said, "Just like Paren described. You really are straight to the point and not particularly interested in formalities."
Garion’s grin widened. "Hehehe. We’re talking business, right? No need for all that polite bullshit."
Bruno paused for a moment, then chuckled. "Fair enough. You’re right. I am here for business."
His expression became more serious. "I’m interested in God Gym’s hidden ultimate training. More specifically, I want three additional slots beyond the original five Rovak announced."
Garion looked at Bruno with growing interest. "Your position is even higher than Paren’s, right? You must be pretty strong."
Bruno raised an eyebrow, clearly not expecting that response.
Garion grinned. "In that case, I can give you three additional slots."
Bruno smiled faintly.
Garion leaned forward slightly. "But what are you offering for them?"
Bruno’s smile widened. "I thought you would ask."
He tapped something outside the projection, and a moment later, another screen appeared beside him.
The image showed an enormous landmass floating directly in open space. Violent storms covered the entire area, strange energy zones twisted across its surface, and even through the screen, the place looked completely hostile.
Garion’s eyes immediately sharpened with interest.
Bruno gestured toward the image. "This place is called Floating Hell Island."
His tone became more serious. "It is one of the top forbidden places in the Astral Cosmic Civilization. Even Celestial Realm beings can die there if they are careless."
Garion’s grin slowly widened.
Bruno noticed his reaction and chuckled. "After seeing the planet you chose for God Gym, I had a feeling you might like a crazy place like this."
He leaned back calmly. "So I’ll ask directly. Do you want it?"
Garion stared at the screen without blinking.
Bruno continued, "If you accept, I can also have Paren arrange a teleportation portal connecting God Gym’s current planet directly to Floating Hell Island."
His smile became slightly amused. "Or perhaps I should start calling it God Gym Island."
Garion finally laughed. "Hehehe."
Paren immediately rubbed his forehead.
Garion pointed at Bruno’s projection. "Supervisor, you really know me."
Bruno laughed. "Then we have a deal?"
Garion nodded without hesitation. "Deal."
He paused for a moment, and his grin became even wider. "Actually, forget three slots."
Bruno raised an eyebrow.
Garion lifted one hand. "I’ll make it five. Consider the extra two a courtesy from me."
Bruno stared at him for a moment before smiling. "Good."
He nodded once. "Thank you for your generosity."
Bruno turned toward Paren. "Paren, you can use my authority to build the best teleportation portal possible. After all, both places are basically hell."
Paren nodded immediately. "Yes, Supervisor. Just leave it to me."
