Chapter 96: Chapter 96 Hold back

Stephan couldn’t control himself at all.

If she hadn’t come to him of her own accord, he might have been able to hold back. But now that she was here...

How could he possibly hold back?!

Alana felt utterly innocent, her moist eyes fixed on him, as innocent as a fawn.

“I...I didn’t...I just accidentally...”

The man glared at her, gritting his teeth. “I don’t believe you!”

Alana’s breath caught in her throat, her eyes filled with panic and helplessness. “If you...don’t believe me, then forget it.”

Stephan clenched his jaw, unable to suppress a bitter laugh.

This ungrateful woman, was it really that hard to say something he wanted to hear?

Clearly, he was so easy to placate.

He gripped her chin firmly. “Figure out a way to pay me over a hundred thousand for my pants. Otherwise, you, along with your cat and dog, won’t be leaving here.”

Alana gasped.

She took a deep breath. “Right now, I don’t have that amount.”

Stephan remained expressionless, his tone leaving no room for negotiation.

“Since you don’t have it, you’ll have to pay with yourself.”

Alana’s almond-shaped eyes widened in shock. “Me? How am I supposed to pay?”

“With...” Stephan’s gaze fell upon her soft, delicate form, and his thin lips parted. “With your body.”

Alana gulped.

Just as she thought!

He simply lusted after her body.

This utterly wicked man!

Just a moment ago, she thought he was being such a sweetheart by applying the ointment for her, and she couldn’t help but feel a tiny bit of affection for him.

Now, she just thought he was a bad guy, and that all his kindness toward her was calculated.

Alana lowered her eyes and muttered softly, “I can’t. If I agree to what you want one more time, my body will be ruined...”

“What?” Stephan couldn’t make her out clearly and furrowed his brow.

Alana’s cheeks flushed slightly. “I’ll compensate you financially, but my body, I can’t use that as payment.”

Stephan sighed.

It was clear she didn’t want anything more to do with him.

He remained expressionless. “You still owe me about 20,000. Can you even afford to pay for this pants?”

“I...” Alana was at a loss for words; she certainly couldn’t afford it.

She didn’t have the money to pay. What was she supposed to do?

The 20,000 she owed him was already a headache enough.

And now she owed over a hundred thousand dollars?

How could she possibly pay that back?

She couldn’t possibly pay it off with her body, could she?

Stephan could tell Alana was hesitating. His thin lips parted coldly. “One time equals

100,000.”

Her breath caught in her throat.

One session equals 100,000?

Even the top hostess at a nightclub wasn’t worth that much.

What should I do?

Deep down, she felt a tiny, shameful flutter of excitement.

Alana couldn’t believe herself.

Had she fallen so low?

How could she sell her body for money?

Stephan suddenly pressed himself against her, carefully avoiding her wound.

His dark, piercing eyes fixed intently on her.

Hiding a beast-like desire for her.

“I’ll give you three seconds to think it over. Once those three seconds are up, once we pass this shop, that price is off the table.”

Alana bit her lip.

With the man pressing against her like this, the scorching heat radiating from his body kept flowing into hers.

It was so intense it made her blood boil.

Her once clear-headed rationality was now inexplicably thrown into disarray, a chaotic mess. “One...”

“Two...”

Stephan could tell that Alana’s resolve was crumbling.

He stared at her red lips, gently bitten by her pearly white teeth, his gaze growing ever more intense. He waited for her to say “three,” ready to seize her sweet, honeyed mouth.

So that she would never be able to resist him again.nHe lowered his handsome face, his hot breath unashamedly washing over the girl’s delicate cheeks as he watched the blush spread from her cheeks to the roots of her ears. Her thin lips parted, ready to say “three.”

Suddenly, a cell phone rang.

Drowning out the word the man was about to utter.

Alana snapped back to her senses and frantically pushed him away.

“My...my phone’s ringing.”

Stephan’s was ruthlessly pushed away by the woman, a deep, intense irritation flashing across his thick eyebrows and eyes.

Who was so tactless as to interrupt at such a crucial moment?

He was so close to succeeding.

Alana paid no heed to the man’s expression. Feeling awkward, she fumbled for her phone and answered immediately.

“Hello, this is...”

A voice came from the other end immediately, “Lana, it’s me. It’s Luca.”

“Lu...Luca.”

Alana let out a sigh of relief. Only then did she remember that she had just sent Luca a message, and he must have seen it.

Luca’s anxious voice came through, “Lana, I’m sorry. I just saw your message and was afraid something had happened to you, so I called right away. Are you okay? You mentioned earlier that you fell. Is it serious?”

Alana glanced down at her knee, which was wrapped in gauze. “It’s not serious. Now... my wound has been bandaged up. I’m fine.”

Luca finally let out a sigh of relief. “That’s good, that’s good. I’m sorry. My pets are such a handful. They’re usually not like this with me. I’ll give them a good scolding when I get home!”

Alana glanced at her two pets. “It’s okay. They...already know they were wrong. They’re being very well-behaved now, sitting quietly without making a sound.”

“Regardless, I’m still sorry.”

“It’s fine, really. You don’t need to feel bad at all.”

Stephan listened as Alana bantered back and forth with the man on the phone, the

displeasure in his eyes growing ever more intense. She sure was patient with other men.

But with him, she acted as if she couldn’t care less.

The difference in treatment was stark!

The more he thought about it, the more a sharp pang of bitterness gripped his chest.

So much so that it felt like it was about to rise up into his throat.

Luca was relieved to confirm that Alana was truly okay.

Suddenly, he remembered something. “Oh, right, Lana. You just mentioned that my dog, Ollie, tore a man’s pants. Those pants cost over a hundred thousand dollars, do I need you to pay for them?”

Alana couldn’t help but lift her gaze to look at the man standing before her.

He looked down at her from above, his expression stern.

His tall, slender frame seemed shrouded in a layer of icy chill.

She bit her lip and nodded slightly. “Mm-hmm.”

Luca immediately said, “I’ll pay for it. After all, it was my dog that tore his pants. Logically, I should take responsibility. You don’t need to feel guilty about it.”

“But are those pants really worth that much? Have him send me the receipt for the pants. If I confirm they’re worth that much, I’ll compensate him right away.”

Hearing Luca say he would compensate Stephan, Alana breathed a slight sigh of relief.

“Okay, I’ll ask him for you.”

She covered the phone with her hand, looked at Stephan, and whispered, “Luca said he’ll compensate you for the pants, but he wants to see the receipt to verify if they’re really worth that much.”

Stephan shot her a cold glance, picked up his phone, looked up the receipt for the pants online, and handed it directly to Alana.
