Neither of them stopped there. They understood that the feelings buried in their hearts needed to be expressed properly.

And of all the moments they had shared, this was the one they refused to let slip by.

An Yue closed her eyes and let their lips meet tenderly, softly, and warmly. The tension in her heart faded, and the fear and surprise settled.

An Yue responded with a sweet smile, her hands reaching up to cradle his face. "There has never been even a trace of regret in my heart when I’m with you. I’m glad you’re the first."

Hearing that made Lin Tian’s heart beat faster and more unsteadily.

His hands rose and wrapped around An Yue’s waist, his face returning forward as he caught her lips again with gentleness.

They continued, in the middle of the forest near the stream, the open sky above them. But this time it was different. Lin Tian and An Yue had reached an understanding.

No regret and no fear. They were doing this purely because of the feeling of belonging they had for each other.

He pulled away from the kiss and brought his face to An Yue’s smooth neck. Lin Tian kissed her neck gently, making An Yue feel a mix of ticklishness and pleasure.
