Chapter 135: CH. 135 | Tianxing And Lingquan Mountain
Watching their sect’s magnificent new appearance, the disciples rushed forward and ran up the stone stairway.
An Yue stepped ahead and stood right beside Lin Tian, turning to look at him.
"Are you alright? Creating something like this clearly took a lot out of you, didn’t it?" An Yue asked.
Lin Tian glanced over and smiled. "I’m fine. My cultivation base lets me conserve the spiritual qi I use."
Not just An Yue, but Yun Yun and the others were there too. The five core disciples stood close to Lin Tian, along with An Xiao, Wu Yue, and Cao Ying.
The other disciples were making their way up the mountain peak using the stairway.
Those who were tired or struggling were helped along by the disciples who had already reached Foundation Establishment.
That saved a great deal of energy for the five main disciples, since all five of them had new responsibilities ahead: managing their Field of Study Halls and carrying out their disciple tasks.
"Come with me," Lin Tian instructed.
He flew ahead first, soaring away from the base of the hill toward one of the six mountains surrounding the sect. An Yue watched the direction Lin Tian was heading, toward one of those surrounding peaks.
From outside the sect, the protective formation reactivated and held back the other cultivators arriving. Most of them had come from the city, curious about what had just happened.
"Wow... the Lingxian Sect leveled up," said one of the cultivators.

"Looks promising. I’m thinking about leaving my lousy sect and joining them."
"Let’s tell the others. They’ll definitely want to join a Lingxian Sect that looks this grand."
Elsewhere, Lin Tian’s attention was briefly drawn to the large crowd of cultivators gathering outside the sect gate.
They had come from the city, drawn by the curiosity of seeing the Lingxian Sect’s transformation.
That immediately made him look toward the front courtyard, where his attention landed on Li Huan, Su Hua’s son.
"Li Huan!" Lin Tian called out firmly, his voice carrying clearly to the young man who had already reached the Early Foundation Establishment.
Li Huan heard him. He turned and pressed his hands together in a bow.
"Yes, Master Lin?"
"You and Xia Yun manage the cultivators wanting to register at the front gate," Lin Tian instructed.
"Understood. I’ll take care of it, Master Lin," Li Huan replied. Xia Yun, who was at the same cultivation base, also heard and obeyed.
Lin Tian arrived at the first mountain, a peak covered in forest and green vegetation. They walked into the compound of buildings, which featured a bulletin board area, a trading area, and a main hall building.
They stopped when they reached the front of the hall building, and their eyes lifted to read the name of the mountain and the hall.
"Tianxing Mountain... Sect Mission Hall?" An Yue asked.
"That’s right," Lin Tian replied, "We’ll be opening missions for the sect’s disciples. If they complete a mission, they’ll receive rewards."
An Yue nodded, followed by the others. But they didn’t yet know who would be placed in charge of the Sect Mission Hall.
"Xiao’er?" Lin Tian called.
An Xiao was a little surprised to hear her name, and An Yue turned and smiled as she watched her older sister walk toward Lin Tian.
"What is it, Master Lin?" An Xiao asked.
Lin Tian opened his hand, revealing a jade token signifying that An Xiao was the Head of the Sect Mission Hall.
"You have a sharp eye for detail. The best place for you is here in the Sect Mission Hall," Lin Tian replied.
"Are you willing to accept?" Lin Tian asked.
An Xiao hesitated slightly, then instinctively glanced over at An Yue. The woman gave her a nod, encouraging her to take the responsibility.
With a single long breath, An Xiao nodded and accepted the responsibility from Lin Tian.
She channeled her qi into the jade token, and to everyone’s surprise the jade at the top of the Sect Mission Hall’s main building lit up in white.
"Thank you for trusting this to me. This junior will not let you down," An Xiao said.
[Congratulations! You have received an emotional level increase]
[Name: An Xiao]

[Emotional Level: Trust (65/100)] [+25]
Lin Tian saw the emotional panel appear before him, showing An Xiao’s emotional level. Among his other disciples, she was the only one who hadn’t yet reached the Attraction stage of emotional level.
But that was fine. Her emotional development would grow on its own over time.
"You can head back to the sect’s peak, or stay here and look around this mountain. Since you’re the hall head, you have full authority over this mountain," Lin Tian said.
An Xiao smiled and pressed her hands together, bowing obediently, "Thank you, Master Lin. I’ll stay and take a look around."
"Alright."
Done with Tianxing Mountain, Lin Tian and the others flew away to the next mountain ahead of them.
Watching An Xiao receive a hall head position made An Yue and the others buzzing with excitement and eagerness.
They arrived at a mountain covered in flowers, trees, ponds, and waterfalls. A main hall compound was there, with a courtyard and other supporting buildings for the hall’s activities.
Just as Lin Tian was about to read the name of the mountain, Ji Xue walked quickly forward and looked around with open enthusiasm.
Flowers were in full bloom and small creatures lived safely throughout the area.
"I’ll take this hall," Ji Xue said, smiling.
"Xue’er... only Master Lin can—"
"Wait, Yue’er. Maybe you’d like to read the name of that hall?" Lin Tian cut in, stopping An Yue.
An Yue lifted her head and read the nameplate on the main hall building, where Ji Xue was already standing on the terrace surrounded by cats, dogs, and rabbits.
"That’s..."
"Lingquan Mountain. Meridian Recovery Hall," Lin Tian said.
"Meridian recovery. Only I can handle that," Ji Xue joked.
Lin Tian smiled watching Ji Xue’s cheerfulness. He patted his bag of holding and produced the Profound-Grade Qi Healing Technique for Ji Xue.
"You can start training here. This is a new technique you can study, Xue’er."
Ji Xue turned and received the scroll. She read through it carefully and nodded obediently, understanding exactly what she needed to do.
"Of course. I’ll study it hard, Master Lin."
[Congratulations! Host has received a Disciple Task]
[2nd Ji Xue Disciple Task:]
[Objective: Learn two qi and meridian recovery techniques within one year]
[Reward:]
[Disciple: Chance to break through cultivation stage || +100 Low-Grade Spirit Stones || 15% increase in qi recovery at Lingquan Mountain || +10 Emotional Level]
[Host: Chance to break through cultivation stage || +250 Low-Grade Spirit Stones || 1x Earth-Grade Technique]

[Status: Incomplete!]
After Ji Xue’s breakthrough moment, her Disciple Task activated right away, stating that her mission was to learn two qi and meridian recovery techniques within one year.
With Ji Xue’s ability and her increasingly mature attitude, Lin Tian was confident she could pick it up without much trouble.
"Learn them in under three months, Xue’er."
"If you manage it, I’ll give you another technique," Lin Tian said.
Ji Xue nodded, gripping the technique scroll tightly in both hands, "I’ll work hard, Master Lin."
Lin Tian nodded with satisfaction and produced a jade token, handing it to Ji Xue.
Just like An Xiao had done, she channeled her spiritual qi into it, making the jade at the peak of the hall building shine brightly.
Ji Xue smiled happily and said she would stay at this hall, surrounded by the adorable tame animals that delighted her. Lin Tian had no objection to that.
He said his goodbye and headed toward another mountain. There were still four mountains left to visit, and the four disciples walking behind him would each become a hall head on one of those peaks.
He never would have imagined it. Disciples who had once been nothing more than weak Qi Condensation cultivators had now reached Foundation Establishment and were leading their own Fields of Study.
The rise of the Lingxian Sect... has officially begun!
