They finished eating, and before returning to the classroom, it hadn’t started to rain yet.
Sheng Tang took a nap and was awakened by a thunderclap, as were all the other students.
It started raining outside, a torrential downpour instantly creating a thin mist over the ground. The sight was enveloped in rain fog, with rain threads weaving the whole world together.
The heavy rain mixed with the scent of soil, clearing away the morning heat.
Sheng Tang opened the window, inhaling the light air mixed with rain threads, feeling refreshed.
"Did you bring an umbrella?" Jiang Baocu asked her.
Sheng Tang shook her head.
"I didn’t either, what a disaster." Jiang Baocu said, "My driver can’t get into the school, am I supposed to walk in the rain to the school gate?"
From the classroom to the school gate was quite a distance, sure to leave them drenched.
