Chapter 578: Crossover Logs, Log 4: Beatrix Xagna

Crossover Log: Beatrix.

Do I need a new intro for her? Can’t I just reuse the old one I used with Artemisia?

I mean, they’re best friends anyway. Thinking of new intros is kinda stress so I’d just repeat Artemisia’s log intro.

Alright, we’re calling this ’Log Entry: Observations on Beatrix (from Arthur’s Perspective)’

Beatrix...’

This is the part where I appraised Artemisia since I forgot what her last name was, right? Well, this time, I didn’t forget.

Funny how despite being more interested in Artemisia than Beatrix, I forgot Artemisia’s last name but remembered Beatrix’s.

Maybe it’s because of how many times Artemisia has screamed it out when Beatrix took her antics too far.

I think I’ve ranted a bit too much so let’s get to the main log now.

’Beatrix Xagna’, the goddess who chased her demon crush across worlds.

The daughter of god Queen Xagna, who’s also this Universe’s Main Entity responsible for governing the Major Aspects of Space and Time.

Oh, just so you know, this log may contain spoilers for Reincarnated Hero System.

...

I should have said that since Evan’s log, shouldn’t I?

Moving on, Beatrix, despite being lower on my interest list, isn’t someone who could be easily forgotten.

The girl is like pure energy taking a humanoid form. Energy in the hyperactive sense, not the magic sense.

If it was in the magic sense, then she’d be a Spirit, not a goddess.

Anyway, her lively, playful attitude stands in stark contrast to the stoic, slightly detached demeanour of her best friend, Artemisia.

Beatrix doesn’t try to hide her emotions; they’re always on full display—especially her infatuation with Alvey, which she makes no effort to conceal.

For someone of her status, the daughter of a main entity, she is far more carefree than one would expect. Not like I’m one to talk.

I’m the guy who went to another Universe because he could.

Returning the focus to Beatrix, the girl comes from the Interstellar Hegemon which is the main reason why this Galaxy’s name is ’Orithyia’ and not ’Gozon’, Prime World Aidos.

god Queen Xagna’s influence spans many worlds and Beatrix, as her daughter, wields a significant portion of that power.

In her home world, she likely carries titles like ’Princess of Time’ and is the most probable successor to her mother’s position.

Not the ’Xagna’ family—her ’Heir of House Xagna’ title is already confirmation of her succession right—but the Main Entity position.

But Beatrix, being a force of nature in her own right, doesn’t act like she cares for the formalities that usually accompany such positions of power.

Her decision to come to Aramis was motivated by personal reasons—specifically, her desire to be near Alvey—despite the dangers of being in a demon-dominated warzone.

As for her relationship with Artemisia, it’s quite interesting to watch. They’re opposites in almost every way. Beatrix is all laughter and playful banter, while Artemisia maintains a stoic presence.

Somehow, they have a friendship that works fine. Artemisia tempers Beatrix’s more chaotic impulses, and in return, Beatrix brings out the few sparks of emotion Artemisia shows.

Oh, did I add that Beatrix is scarily attached to Artemisia?

As for her connections to Jamie, like Artemisia, they seem to be rooted in the fact that her mother, Rilene Xagna, is friends with him.

She’s close enough with him that she calls him ’Uncle Jay’, and likewise, Jamie treats her much differently compared to others. Guess he got called ’Uncle’ so much, he ended up becoming one for real.

Beatrix’s obsession with Alvey is another matter entirely. She’s head over heels for him, and she doesn’t care who knows it.

Her boldness in declaring herself his "future wife" borders on recklessness, especially considering Alvey’s more reserved and serious nature. But that’s Beatrix—she dives headfirst into whatever she wants, regardless of the consequences.

Clearly, Alvey does NOT see her as a potential romantic partner; perfectly understandable considering the man is more than twice her age, but it’s obvious she’s not going anywhere and wouldn’t be giving up on him anytime soon.

Who knows, her persistence might just end up winning him over...when she’s a full adult, that is.

Alvey’s surely not looking her way as far as she’s still got ’teen’ at the end of her age.

McEnda III seems to tolerate Beatrix’s antics, though with a certain wariness, just like with Artemisia. The reason is surely because of her Supreme Race Queen mother.

As for Evan, Beatrix initially only wanted two things from him: Relationship advice, and to know if she and Alvey end up together in the future.

I don’t know how much Evan could provide on the first topic, but he certainly had negative answers on the second. According to him, despite knowing Artemisia from the future, he had no idea of Beatrix’s existence.

That got me curious, as I assumed Beatrix would be sticking with Future Artemisia as she does with the current her.

Well, when we went on our little quest to figure out who sent Evan to the past, that curiosity was sated. It did lead to her life being at risk of ending at Evan’s hands, but thanks to Jamie, that threat was averted.

Now then, Beatrix, just like Artemisia, is a nonstandard. Her power is impressive for her age, though even she and Artemisia combined can’t take Evan on. That just shows how ridiculous Evan is.

Anyway, we’re on Beatrix here. Does she use weapons? I’ve seen her use some sort of Staff-Spear before, so maybe that’s her main weapon.

Her primary powers are her Space-Time attributed, their source being rather obvious.

She’s got some pretty good spatial skills whose effects I replicated with the law of space. Ended up with me getting the skills as well.

Space Warp, Time Bomb, and Void Sphere are all pretty broken too. I think Evan took her space warp skill with his Mystic Eyes. I’ve seen him teleport and cause explosions of spatial energy on departure and arrival.

As for her Chrono-Space Dominion Unique Skill, that thing is a Domain Declaration in the making. Using it allows her to turn a certain area into her territory, warp space to disorient enemies and give her allies the upper hand.

She’s a fairly skilled combatant too, most likely courtesy of her mother.

While she doesn’t display the same ruthlessness as some of the others in battle, her playful nature can quickly shift into something far more dangerous when she’s pushed.

Looking forward, I think Beatrix’s circumstances in this world are only going to grow more interesting. It seems she’s gonna remain here as long as Alvey does and I feel it wouldn’t be long before the other High Rank Demons discover there’s been a goddess in their midst all this time.

I await the chaos that would happen then.

Did I forget anything? Like she’s one of the key pieces of the upcoming Nexus Event? Nahh...I didn’t forget anything.
