Chapter 487: Armageddon
Accelerated Gravitational Singularity of Destruction.
Arthur launched this tiny singularity which tore apart the fabric of space with its fierce gravitational pull, consuming all in its path with voracious hunger.
Crarox’s Aqua Breath and his Luminous Aqua Cascade were no exception to this.
The Leviathan tried to fight against the pull with his own gravity energy, but it wasn’t enough so he conjured waves of water to flood the singularity, aiming to overload it quickly.
’If it’s something he conjured with energy, then there must be an upper limit to the amount of matter it can devour! All I have to do Is force it to reach that limit fast!’
With that thought, Crarox used his Pseudo-Authority to conjure a tsunami and send it towards Arthur, but it was inexorably into the depths of the singularity.
Sensing Crarox’s strategy, Arthur decided to thwart it by detonating the singularity prematurely, but a glance at the nearby Demon Armada made him hesitate.
’Ah...if I detonate it now, I’d end up killing my allies. Tsk...should have used it earlier.’
With a frustrated click of his tongue, Arthur redirected the singularity towards the oncoming Aramisian Air ships fleet that was sent out to intercept the Armada.
The singularity violently expelled all the matter it had devoured, transforming it into a torrent of pure energy that exploded in the sky above the fleet.
The energy wave consumed the airships in a blinding flash, incinerating every soldier aboard and leaving nothing behind but smouldering wreckage falling to the ground.
◇ ◇ ◇
While Arthur and Crarox were duking it out, Evan’s sword was cleaving through a Kraken’s body, dividing it from top to bottom into two unequal halves.
[Level Up]
Just as he did this, he jumped onto one of the Demon Armada ships and looked up into the sky just in time to see Arthur use AGSD.
"...is that a fucking black hole?!"
Looking at how Arthur detonated the technique onto the fleet of Aramisian Airships, he said a silent prayer for the fallen soldiers.
It was then that he noticed the Leviathan gathering lightning law energy at its tail to strike Arthur who was busy punching the living daylights out of the creature’s head.
Due to Crarox’s water and gravity law barriers, Arthur’s punches lost over half their power by the time they reached the Leviathan, so they only carried enough force to shatter his scales but not wound the flesh underneath.
The moment he noticed the tail was emerging from the water, Evan unfurled his dragon wings and kicked off the ship’s deck, charging into the air and right towards where Arthur was.
Mid-air, he switched out the magic stones in the forearm guard on his right hand, before reactivating a skill.
’Limit Break!’
The moment Arthur punched the left side of Crarox’s face, the Leviathan’s tail zapped forward to hit Arthur, moving at a speed Evan doubted Arthur would be able to dodge in his imbalanced state after having just unleashed an attack.
Of course, Arthur had the option of ’Time Stop’, but before he could even use that, Evan used Blink to teleport right beside the tail, targeting the wounded part where Arthur had used Cataclysmic Divide on earlier and swung his blade coated in prismatic flames down.
"World Sunder!"
The massive slash of destructive prismatic flames burned through the weakened flesh, burning through them and hitting Crarox with enough force to knock his tail swipe off course.
His flames surged and spread over Crarox’s body, the tongues of fire greedily licking the Leviathan’s scales and searching for any more openings left in his scales.
Normally, Evan would not be able to break through Crarox’s durability, but Arthur had left a lot of wounds with destructive energy, which had shattered the Leviathan’s scales and rent the flesh underneath, slowing their healing despite the Leviathan’s Ocean Embrace skill.
As such, Evan’s attacks were able to bypass the little hint of durability left and directly harm the Leviathan’s vitality.
[GAARRGG!!!]
Crarox roared out in pain as blood splattered everywhere, and what’s more, Evan’s flames mixed with his lightning and ignited, creating another explosion which wounded him even further.
The agonised Leviathan tried to bite Arthur, but the Progenitor simply unfurled his wings and shot up into the air, surprising Evan who didn’t know Arthur had wings.
’He can fly without them...so why did he bring them out now?’
The answer to that was that Arthur intended to use a big spell.
Magic power gathered around him and three Spell Circles Manifested in the air in front of Arthur, drawing Crarox’s attention.
He tried to charge energy for a breath to disrupt Arthur’s spellcasting, but Evan wasn’t about to stand around and let that happen.
Sure, any of Crarox’s attacks could heavily wound or even kill him if they hit, but Evan was confident he could buy enough time for Arthur to cast his spell without getting hit.
Besides—
"Hey, Big Guy. Mind lending me some of your skills?"
The golden inscription in Evan’s eyes lit up with a glow as he spoke, summoning his eight-sided shield on his left hand before shouting.
"Look over here!"
Surely, there was no way that Crarox would willingly look over just because Evan said to.
But in this case, Crarox’s will did not matter.
|Gazebind Aegis
Type; Legendary Shield.
There was a Gorgon ’Race Queen’ on Planet Aidos with Amber eyes so captivating they seemed to pull people in.
She desired for all to admire her eyes, but most turned away, either attacking her or escaping her presence.
Driven by her longing, she created an Artifact to protect herself from their attacks, compelling all who gazed upon her to ’admire’ her eyes, even if it was against their will.
By the time she was slain by the ’Demon King of Destruction’ during the ’Great Valmone War’, billions of souls had already been turned to stone by her beautiful, enchanting Mystic Eyes of Petrification.
Equip Bonus; 10% Total Damage Mitigation.
Abilities;
Forcefully shifts the Awareness of a maximum of 10 designated targets to the User’s Eyes.
Within 30 Seconds of receiving an attack, further Mitigate all Damage by an additional 10%. Occurs once every minute.

Evan’s shield, was an artifact from the future, a weapon wielded by a fallen ’Race Queen’!
Its power to forcefully shift the target’s awareness was not something Crarox could resist.
Crarox’s head forcefully snapped in Evan’s direction, much to the Leviathan’s shock. He locked eyes with Evan, meeting the condition Evan needed to use his Unique Series Skill.

The Leviathan quickly fired his breath at Evan and tried to turn his head away, however, Evan simply teleported behind him with Blink and spoke once more.
"Dude, I’m over here."
Crarox, unable to resist the shield’s compelling force, found himself forced to face Evan once more.
With a swift movement, he attempted to bite Evan, only to find his jaws clamped down on the Stout Guardian shield-bearing knight construct conjured by the Rogue Hero, devouring it in place of Evan.
During this time, Crarox was forced to maintain eye contact with Evan due to the Shield’s power, and when three seconds passed—

’I wonder...would I be able to mimic ’Pseudo-Authorities’ as I am now?’
Evan had this dangerous thought cross his mind as he locked gazes with the Leviathan, but when he sensed the surge of power coming from above, he snapped back to reality and teleported away.
He reappeared far up in the sky and with his wings keeping him aloft, he gazed down at the Progenitor who had just finished casting his spell.
The magic circles differed in their design: the first had five rings, the second had three, and the third had four. Each circle was a fusion of runes and languages from Arthur’s home universe.
"Wait up...isn’t that World Magic?!"
Evan’s eyes widened as he saw the array of Magic Circles hovering in front of Arthur, all coming together to create a Spell he recognized as ’World Magic.’
To be precise, it was ’World Magic Spell Number 5: Armageddon’.
Coincidentally, that just happened to be the same name that Arthur called out.
|¬Pseudo-Authority of Destruction: Armageddon. ¬|
For a moment, there was silence.
And then from above, streaks of crimson-silver lights lit up the skies as they rained down on the earth below.
The Meteors enveloped with destruction energy crashed down at supersonic speed, smashing down onto Crarox and the land beyond him.
|¬Selective Destruction. Limited Range. ¬|
Arthur spoke and the power of his words commanded the universal laws, creating a gravitational force that pulled all the falling meteors towards Crarox alone.
If any escaped the force and crashed on the ground elsewhere, the most they’d do is destroy the earth and create craters. But if there was a Demon nearby, then that Demon would be completely unscathed!
This was the power of ’Selective Destruction’ which Arthur had gained access to after reaching 60% Law Comprehension.
Sadly, for now, Arthur could only apply it when he used a single Law’s power and not a mix of laws, hence why he could not use it on AGSD earlier.
As the meteors descended, they pelted the Crarox’s massive body relentlessly, shattering his scales and leaving him vulnerable to the onslaught.
Due to the Leviathan’s body size, it was very hard to dodge the onslaught. He tried to submerge himself, but Arthur’s outstretched hand commanded the power of gravity to create an upforce which kept at least half his body out of the water.
The only way he could completely evade was to either teleport—which he could not do—or reduce his size—which he could only do if he switched to a human form.
Immediately, he cast the spell and a green light enveloped his form and his body began to shrink rapidly.
Unfortunately, before he could completely transform, Arthur teleported right in front of him with his fist coated in swirling law energies pulled back.
