Chapter 486: Chain Explosions

Here’s the thing, this Torpedo Arthur attacked, was on a shelf with four other Torpedoes.

So, the first explosion consumed the remaining four and ignited them. This did the same to the Torpedoes on the next shelf, igniting each successive row of torpedoes with an escalating fury.

The force of the explosions compounded exponentially, a relentless chain reaction that swept through the entire facility with unstoppable momentum.

It sounded like a lot, but all of this only took a few seconds to occur.

***KAAAAAABOOOOOMMMM!!!!!!!

The detonations erupted with a deafening roar, accompanied by blinding flashes of light that seared the retinas of any unfortunate enough to witness it.

The shockwaves tore through the outpost like a vengeful tempest, reducing structures to rubble and shattering steel with the force of a thousand thunderbolts. Flames erupted in all directions, consuming everything in their path with an insatiable hunger.

In the blink of an eye, the entire naval outpost was engulfed in a maelstrom of destruction, the sheer magnitude of the explosions rivalling that of nuclear bombs.

Buildings crumbled like paper in a furnace, and the earth trembled beneath the onslaught of unleashed energy. The force of the blast swept outward in a devastating wave, leaving nought but devastation and ruin in its wake.

Meanwhile, the culprit of this stood in the middle, dousing his arm with a potion to help hasten his regeneration, before holding out his hand and summoning his mask from his subspace.

"Now then, the ’Silver Summoner’ has taken the stage."

Putting it on, he cracked his neck before looking towards the ocean, catching sight of Crarox who was racing towards land.

As if sensing Arthur’s gaze, Crarox’s head snapped in his direction and what followed was a breath attack which Arthur split in two with his sword.

Rather than confront Crarox, Arthur turned around and dashed towards the nearest Naval Outpost that was a few kilometres away, with Crarox chasing him by the oceanside.

The Leviathan released arrays of magic spells and Aqua Breaths, but Arthur just either dodged or deflected them, not bothering to counterattack as he flew at supersonic speed towards the Outpost.

With his speed, Arthur only took a little over 15 seconds to cross the 25km distance, and this was because he slowed multiple times to dodge Crarox’s attacks.

Leaving the Leviathan in the dust, he reached the Outpost and encountered a brigade of soldiers who were being sent out to find out why one of their bases had suddenly exploded.

Arthur stopped and unfurled his wings and seeing the pair of bat-like wings, the Aramisians instantly assumed he was a Demon and attacked without a word.

It was only one of them who took note of Arthur’s mask and screamed out.

"That mask...!! He’s the one from the reports on Triton!!"

"?!"

¬Bravo! ¬

Arthur slammed his palms together and released a destruction pulse that blasted away all their attacks, before pointing at the person who spoke and continuing.

¬Here, a ’Prize’¬

A summoning magic circle bloomed into existence and the massive head of an angry wolf emerged from it, lunging at him and ripping his upper body off in a flash.

[Prism Pulse!]

Crarox’s voice rang out and beams of light rained down from above, their trajectories aimed at Arthur.

He quickly retracted his wings and flew downwards, before kicking off the ground and dashing forward, tearing the Naval Outpost’s defensive barrier with a single Anti-Divinity Slash.

Without hesitation, he scanned the area and spotted a familiar Storage Facility, raising Celestia up and firing Extreme Nothingness at it.

***KAAABOOOMM!!!!!

After wiping out another base, Arthur teleported out of the blast radius, beelining straight to the next base without a break.

This time, he didn’t nuke the place up, but instead landed right in the centre and activated a Summoning Spell.

¬Ascendant Apex Conjurism. ¬

A five-ringed Magic Circle manifested above his head, and from within, the massive body of a Three-Headed Hellhound emerged, roaring towards the sky before charging at the nearest Sovereign Aramisian.

’This one is Level 850...guess I’m still limited to 1 realm above.’

With that thought, he snapped his fingers and released the Divine Dragon Romrintet along with Stelan and the other godslayers, giving them one single order.

"Wreak Havoc."

◇ ◇ ◇

Meanwhile, on the front deck of the Triton’s Ark, about 20 High-Ranked Demons stood at the front Deck, their gazes trained on the distant shores of Plomux.

They watched the giant mushroom clouds of dust and smoke rising up into the sky in quick succession, and looking at this McEnda spoke.

"I can bet my Pseudo-Authority that this is definitely Arthur’s doing."

"Can’t you feel that Esoteric Destruction Energy? Who else could it be?"

Alvey replied to him with a raised brow, showing his view of Arthur’s power as Destruction, but with some special properties.

Said special properties referred to his Null.

"Weapons Units, Charge the Cannons."

He put Arthur’s strangeness at the back of his mind and spoke into his walkie-talkie, giving out an order to the Demons manning the Triton’s Ark.

Low hums began ringing out as the massive cannons the Mobile Assault Fortress was outfitted with began to be stirred, charged with crackling energy; including the main Cannon which Alvey had thwarted during the battle for the Ark a few months ago.

Barron who wasn’t too far off, gave commands to the ships to lower their Torpedoes, both to take out the Aramisian ships and to deal with the waves of Sea Monsters Crarox had summoned to obstruct them.

For a fleeting moment, both high-ranked demons paused, observing the distant explosions that illuminated the morning sky. Then, in perfect synchrony, they commanded calmly:

""Fire.""

*ZZZMMMMMM...!!

**BOOOMM!!!

After their launch, the horizon from Plomux was dotted with countless flaming lights, each growing larger by the second as they surged forth towards their targets.

Arthur saw these lights and shook his head as he remarked.

"That’s definitely NOT a starry sky."

The Progenitor turned around and glanced westward, activating ’Memories of the Future’ to discern the success rates of the missile bombardment.

’There are extra barriers which would reduce their impact by half...’

Arthur instantly moved to change that future, using Gravity to throw himself up into the air, before clenching his right fist and pulling it back.

"SUPER Weighted Impact Punch. Destruction Pulse."

Gravity pulled his body to the ground and he threw his fist forward, using ’Earth Shaking Fist’ at the last instant as he punched a massive crater into the earth.

***BOOOOMMMM!!!!!

As Arthur’s fist collided with the earth, seismic waves surged forth at sonic speed, rippling outward with unbridled intensity. Alongside the seismic force, Arthur’s anti-divinity and destruction energy radiated outward, enveloping everything in their path.

The energy from the punch shattered all the divinity barriers surrounding the Naval and Army bases dotting the Plomux Continent’s eastern coastline, their protective enchantments crumbling in the face of Arthur’s destructive pulse.

Even the sturdiest magical barriers proved futile, unable to withstand the overwhelming power unleashed by Arthur’s Destruction Pseudo-Authority charged strike.

If there was one mistake the Aramisians made with Plomux, it was focusing most of their Transcendent combatants on the West Side, leaving very few on the East.

’Can’t blame them since they have to deal with constant attacks from Guwos. Anyway, it works out for me as no Sovereign can react fast enough to deal with my Destruction Pulse.’ 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝒆𝒘𝙚𝓫𝙣𝙤𝒗𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

Arthur noticed that some of the barriers he intended to destroy were completely unscathed and he smiled wryly, as it couldn’t be helped that those bases had Transcendents.

"Well, the Transcendents would have their hands full with those Missiles so I can run free for now."

Storm clouds swiftly amassed in the sky, unleashing torrents of rain that soaked the land in a relentless downpour.

This was Crarox’s attempt to quench the flames that burned the bases Arthur had blown up. When the progenitor turned to face the Leviathan, he saw Crarox conjuring colossal waves towering higher than tsunamis, intending to use these water walls to intercept the incoming energy cannon fire.

’So, is this guy on the Aramisians’ side or not?’

Arthur questioned this as teleported atop Crarox’s head and spoke.

"Oh no, you don’t."

He gestured downwards with his hands, creating a powerful gravitational downforce that crumbled the towering water walls and pushed the waves back down into the ocean.

Next, he pulled back his fist and punched the top of Crarox’s head with all his might, about to follow it up with another punch to start a combo, however, Crarox dodged and used the side of his head to hit Arthur’s body.

His forked tail shot forward, but Arthur pulled off a front flip in the air to dodge the piercing strike and landed on the tail.

Arthur would have nearly stabbed Lostvayne into the Leviathan’s tail if it wasn’t for the fact that the tail was suddenly engulfed in sea-green lightning that forced him to teleport a few metres away.

However, the lightning on the tail converged on the tip and released a blitzing beam that tore off a portion of Arthur’s shoulder bone.

The energy cannon fire passed overhead and flew towards the island, with Arthur momentarily glancing at the resultant explosions, before using Greater Teleportation to evade the Aqua Breath Crarox fired.

’Time to end things here.’

Arthur felt he had caused enough chaos on Plomux’s shores, so right after healing his shoulder, he turned to Crarox and—

¬Authority of the Progenitor Godslayer. ¬

Crarox was not a Divine, so Arthur’s Progenitor Authority had no effect on him. But this didn’t mean it had no effect on Arthur himself, as the first thing his Progenitor Authority did before it even weakened Divines within its range of effect, was to amplify Arthur’s power.

It wasn’t as much as it did when he used it against Divines, but the boost was substantial enough that Crarox felt a greatly increased sense of danger.

’Unique Skill: Luminous Aqua Cascade. + Pseudo-Authority of Water: Aqua Breath!’

He unleashed this killer combo without a second’s hesitation, but in the face of this, Arthur silently activated an even deadlier technique.

The Progenitor channelled the laws of space, and gravity, moulding them into a swirling orb of energy in his palms. He then tossed in the power of his Pseudo-Authorities, along with a lot of Cosmic Energy and Null’s power.

’ASGD.’
