Chapter 430: Coexistence is the way.

**SWOOOSH!!!

The Progenitor easily dodged her sideswing and threw a punch towards her in response, but rather than reflect, she chose to dodge.

He followed up with another punch, this time with aura. When he saw her raise her weapon, his lips curled up lightly.

"You take damage, so it means it’s not a 100% reflection.

You also chose to dodge the pure physical attack, yet raised your weapon when you saw me use energy."

The power within his punch flashed back to him, the force rupturing his arm, however, he just calmly studied the damage with a serene gaze.

*TSSS!!

"ARH!"

The woman’s cry drew his attention back to her, and with a snap of his fingers, he summoned Lightning Quintempest, unleashing storm tornadoes at the others while focusing on the Divine Human with reflection abilities.

’Her face is burned...from my blood that splashed?’

Arthur looked at his arm that had healed and kicked off the ground, using a mountain slash to cleave through the body of one of the other Legendries as he reached the woman once more and punched her.

This time, she did not try to reflect the damage, instead, she simply jumped away while displaying increased wariness.

"Dark Lightning."

His palm glowed with a black light, followed by the construction of panthers which constituted of his dark lightning magic. They dashed towards the Divine Human at lightning speed, forcing her to use her reflection powers to destroy them with the power of their own attacks.

Just when she was about to slash down another one of them, the panther disappeared and Arthur’s appeared in its place.

"!?"

Unfortunately for her, she had already swung her sword so even if she realised Arthur had exploited her focus, it could do nothing to stop his fist from colliding with her sword. The reflected damage wounded Arthur and caused his blood to splatter.

He watched closely as the tiny drop of blood that touched the woman’s face burned her like acid, confirming his earlier conjecture.

Resetting time in his arm, he launched another punch, sending her reeling. She used wind magic to regain her balance and landed on her feet, looking up to see Arthur holding Celestia overhead.

"Cataclysmic Divide."

The combination of Extinction Slash and Mountain Split cascaded down towards her and she infused her sword with reflection law energy, swinging it upwards with the intent of sending the strike back to Arthur.

However, just as the slash was about to hit her approaching sword, it abruptly stopped midway and her sword cut through empty air.

Before she could even fully express her surprise, Arthur snapped his fingers and the Slash continued forward, two times faster than before.

In a second, it divided the woman’s body from head to crotch into two halves that fell on the floor and sprayed blood out like twin fountains.

Just as Arthur turned around and wanted to deal with the rest, beams of demonic energy crashed down from above, piercing through his bounded field and crashing down on the bodies of all the remaining Legendries.

Their deaths were instant, and this caused Arthur to frown as he did not like the fact that someone had stolen his bags of EXP.

He turned his gaze towards the High-Rank Demon responsible, disabling his bounded field and speaking with an irritated tone.

¬I do not appreciate my prey being stolen from me. ¬

Arthur activated all his ’Authorities’ simultaneously, condensing their combined power and with a mixture of cosmic energy, concentrated it all on the Demon’s body.

Lostvayne also glowed with the silver light of his Null and despite being an Inferior Stage Transcendent, the Demon almost took a reflexive step back.

[You have Acquired the Rare Skill: Intimidation.]

[Rare Skill: Intimidation had been Upgraded to Ultra Rare Variant.]

"Oh...that’s nice."

Arthur’s aura pressure disappeared instantly, leaving behind a dumbfounded Transcendent who was questioning if he really almost took a step back when faced with a boy he could easily defeat in a fight.

Most of his wariness came from the silver light that encased Arthur’s Swords: his Null.

¬So? What made you interrupt me? ¬

Although this Transcendent was more powerful than he was, they were equal Army Rank-wise so Arthur who was casual with even Four-Star Generals like Alvey and McEnda III, was definitely not gonna act like how other Legendary Realm Demons acted towards the Transcendents.

"...General Sargon said it’s time to end it."

¬Oh, it’s been that long already. ¬

Arthur nodded before gathering spatial and cosmic energy, wrapping it around his body and casting Greater Teleportation.

◇ ◇ ◇

Our resident Progenitor left behind the dumbfounded Transcendent who could not sense how he teleported and weaved his way through distorted spaces, back to Sector 1 where Alvey was.

When he appeared, all eyes turned towards him and the boy raised his hands and waved at them like a model on a runway.

Looking towards Alvey, he saw the Demon stepping on the chest of a defeated Transcendent god, and Arthur shook his head with a wry smile as he appraised the man and saw he was a Level 990.

His gaze then turned towards his Summons who had gathered nearby, frowning as he saw the Infernal Devils trying to provoke some of the Demons to a fight.

"Looks like we’re done here. You lot can get the fuck out."

With a snap of his fingers, the link between him and the Infernal Devils was cut, and Aramis’ laws of space instantly wrapped around them and expelled them from the planet.

Turning to the Transcendent Wolf, he spoke.

"When you return to your home world, kill that Sovereign Infernal for me."

[With pleasure, summoner.]

Arthur chuckled lightly before releasing them and the same scene played out as the planet expelled them from itself.

Left behind were Stelan and his group of godslayers and just as everyone looking expected Arthur to send them back as well, he did the opposite.

"You guys’ would remain; we have a lot to talk about."

Stelan, now an Intermediate Sovereign, nodded in understanding and then Arthur yawned a bit before looking at the last of his summons.

The Gold Divine Dragon, Romrintet looked at Arthur with a dark gaze and the progenitor could see his smouldering resentment at being forced to kill his brethren.

Arthur didn’t care, though.

He returned the dragon to the Summoning space as he looked at the defeated god on the floor before asking Alvey.

"Supreme Commander?"

"Of the gods on this Vessel...yes."

Alvey then created a Light-Space sword and passed it to Arthur, who then proceeded to infuse his Anti-Divinity into it like they agreed on beforehand and passed it back to Alvey.

Thanking him for it, Alvey then proceeded to use the blade to torture a call for surrender out of the wounded god’s mouth, one that Fleet Admiral ’Gnurl’ of the Triton’s Ark did not hesitate to accept.

’Despite being the Fleet Admiral, he still has to listen to the gods, huh?’

Arthur thought that as he watched the Demons wrap up the fighting, before turning to Alvey and posing a question.

"Can I use this guy for EXP?"

"...unfortunately, no. He is the descendant of a god King and would be useful in hostage exchanges."

"Oh...too bad."

Seeing Arthur sad about not being able to use Transcendents as EXP made the other captured gods feel a strange sense of fear towards the boy. Even worse for Alvey who had said it was ’unfortunate’ that he could not.

"I’d be on the Airship. Inform me when you’re done with the battle aftermath."

Arthur yawned once more, before unfurling his wings and taking off into the skies, heading straight for the Flagship in the skies.

As he ascended, Alvey assumed command on the ground, barking orders that set the Demons in motion. With swift efficiency, they tackled the arduous task of cleaning up the aftermath of the battle.

During this, Barron walked up to Alvey and voiced his conclusion after seeing Arthur in action.

"That kid’s dangerous. Very much so."

Sylvan who had just returned to his original form, landed on the floor and questioned the Demon Admiral.

"Are you just now realising this?"

"Clearly not. I’m just now seeing that I had previously underestimated him. The boy makes my common sense feel like useless information."

Barron found everything about Arthur weird, from his nonstandard strength to his idiosyncrasies and most importantly, the boy’s ability to somehow wield divinity purer than even that of the gods.

"Controlling him would be an arduous task."

Just as one of Barron’s High-Rank demon retainers spoke, Alvey clicked his tongue and shook his head.

"That’s where you’ve made a big mistake. Trying to ’Control’ him.

If you see something dangerous you cannot understand, something that has the potential to be a threat in the future; you automatically try to ’Control’ or ’Destroy’ it.

However, it would be wise to understand that those two options aren’t always the right answers.

In Arthur’s situation, that is exactly the case."

Alvey held up the Light-Space sword in his hand and gazed at the Anti-Divinity swirling within it as he spoke.

"Arthur isn’t the type you try to ’Control’ or ’Destroy’; that’d only backfire. He’s the type you try to ’Coexist’ with.

If I did not realise that earlier..."

The man’s red eyes glowed and he pointed right at the Demon’s back before continuing.

"...then there’s a not 0% chance his sword might have been pointed at us instead."

"?!"

The High Rank demon turned around and his soul nearly left his body as he saw Lostvayne floating in the air with its tip pointed towards him.

’How long has that weapon been there?!’

Only Barron, Sylvan and Alvey had realised that Arthur hadn’t taken Lostvayne along with him, (he left it to feed on souls) and all the other High Ranked demons were just as dumbfounded as Barron’s retainer was.

Knowing that Lostvayne was a Rule Breaker, Alvey was not surprised that the weapon had an Ego, and unlike his, that Ego liked Arthur very much.

He also realised that Just because Arthur could not wield Lostvayne’s full power due to his low Existence Realm, did not mean that the power had disappeared.

Remembering the fact that the Rule Breaker in his possession could release more of its power on its own, he guessed Lostvayne could do the same, although there should be a limit since it was not with its wielder.

Weapons were meant to show their true powers in the hands of their wielders, after all.

The Sword’s tip turned towards Alvey for a moment, before floating higher into the air and disappearing in a burst of cosmic energy.
