Chapter 424: More godslayers

The moment they set eyes on the boy, they quickly understood what Stelan had meant when he said their very souls would feel subservient to him on default.

As for Arthur, he studied all their strengths, noting that most of them were Epic realms with a few Legendries in the Inferior and Intermediate Stages.

None of them was a Sovereign like Stelan and it was precisely because he was the strongest that he was their leader.

’I wonder how things are in their world...oh well, it doesn’t matter right now.’

Arthur flapped his wings and ascended to the sky pointing at the battlefield around them and giving his commands.

|¬godslayers! Your Progenitor’s blessing is with you.

Wreak Havoc. ¬|

Stelan summoned his red one-handed sword and raised it before letting out a battle cry. Immediately, his fellow godslayers all reciprocated as Arthur’s anti-divinity wreathed their bodies in a silver light.

’When fighting on behalf of their progenitor, the progeny gain damage and vitality boosts. Coupled with my blessing of Anti-divinity and then the effect of their godslayer abilities, they really would ’Wreak Havoc,’

Arthur watched as the godslayers roared and charged at the Divine Humans, with some of them, especially the older ones, having a maddening light in their eyes.

’They probably suffered under the hands of the gods or Divine Humans in their world...I’m sure of it.’

They only numbered enough to fill a small company, but their presence could not be ignored on this battlefield.

From the fact that they were Arthur’s summons to the fact that their mere presence weakened all the Divine Humans present by at least 10%.

Arthur noticed that there were some half-gods on the battlefield, a sight he had not seen in Duskhand when he was there. For the godslayers below the Legendary realm, these half-gods were the targets they charged towards with weapons drawn and magic staves raised.

Seeing Stelan and the Legendary realm godslayers charge forward, Alvey narrowed his eyes lightly, before turning to Arthur who sensed his gaze and looked up.

The boy gave him a thumbs up, before turning his gaze back to the godslayers who were now running on Sylvan’s roots to kill the soldiers the Wood Demon had ensnared.

"Ohh! Nice Support, Sylvan!"

The boy raised his two hands and gave the General a double thumbs up, and seeing this, the other Demons turned to Alvey with looks that asked ’Where did you bring this kid from?’

**ROAARR!!!

Arthur’s attention was drawn to the loud roar that rang out suddenly, and when he turned, he saw a unit of wyverns in the sky, ridden by Aramisian soldiers that fired magic down at the demons below.

They were a Wyvern Unit based in another Sector, and after annihilating the Demons in their Sector, they came over to help those in Sector 1.

The person on the wyvern at the forefront suddenly jumped off his mount, his body enveloped in a bright red light that expanded before receding.

When the light vanished, it was not a man that they saw, but a 10-foot-long dragon roaring out loud and charging straight at Arthur.

Flames surged in his maw and he released a powerful breath that turned the building Arthur was standing on into molten rubble in a second.

Half of the Demon army Battalion that Arthur had saved not too long ago was completely obliterated by the breath, and the others were riddled with serious wounds.

[Level Up]

’That’s an Inferior Sovereign...

As much as I’d like to fight him, I’d like to leave that to my new summon.’

Arthur charged right back at the dragon and threw a punch with weighted impact, which the dragon met with a claw swipe.

**BAMM!!

The shockwave generated from the point of the impact knocked the two parties back, and while the dragon landed on the ground with its feet, Arthur was knocked into the air, in the path of another dragon that had appeared behind him.

"Hold up there, brother!"

Arthur spun around in the air to dodge the jaws of the dragon, before snapping his fingers and stopping the dragon’s time.

"Time, Gravity, Destruction and Summoning. It’s rare to see Legendries this proficient in many laws like him...

Just what other powers does he have?"

One of the Aramisian Generals muttered to himself while staring at Arthur’s face-off with the Sovereign Dragon.

"Look at how big you two are and you’re attacking little poor me? Why don’t you pick on someone your own size?"

Arthur clapped and a summoning magic circle appeared behind him. If anyone proficient in the law of summoning looked at it, they’d see that it was slightly different from the others.

This was natural, as this one connected to Arthur’s ’Summon Space’, a small alternate dimensional storage where he could keep contracted summons so he could retrieve them very easily and not have to spend too much magic power.

Emerging from the magic circle was the gold Divine Dragon that Arthur had subjugated on the way to Whitboro, and seeing someone considered Dragon Royalty coming out from the summoning circle of a ’demon’, the Aramisians could not be any more shocked.

"Alright, big guy. Go fight your brothers."

Arthur only left that command, placing a palm on the dragon’s back and applying a blessing—the divinity variant of the one he had given the godslayers.

He had spent the past week developing more variants of his ’Blessing’, and he had even been able to construct ones with law energies.

Now he had a ’Blessing of Destruction’ and thanks to his Pseudo-Authority, Arthur could actually enable a being who had zero ability to control destruction law energy to control a watered-down imitation of the energy for as long as the blessing lasted

He tested it on a few master realm low-ranked demons and they were able to control this ’Destruction Essence’ for half an hour. It came along with a small boost to their stat values, but he realised that using it on the same target for more than 30 minutes a day, caused their souls to start taking damage.

If he used it on someone who had exhausted their magic power, they also took soul damage as well.

Arthur worked on mitigating these drawbacks, but no matter what he did, he could not mitigate them.

’A pity...’

[Level Up]

He thought that as the second Sovereign Dragon broke out of the temporal stop he had applied on it, before charging towards Arthur while firing beams of pure magic power. 𝒻𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝘯𝘰𝑣ℯ𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝘮

Arthur teleported to the dragon’s back and grabbed its tail, before spinning its body around and then flinging the dragon’s body towards the ground.

"Oy, Gold Dragon! Come to think of it, I don’t know your name..."

Arthur appraised the gold Dragon who was fighting with the Inferior Sovereign red dragon to get the dragon’s name before continuing.

"Romrintet? Imma just call you ’Rom’."

He dodged the claw swipe of the dragon before throwing out a weighted impact punch that collided with the side of the dragon’s skull, causing cracks to spread across the bone like a spiderweb.

The boy then proceeded to let two Demons who flew towards I’m handle the dragon before returning his focus to the battlefield.

He popped open a magic potion bottle and downed the contents while scanning the surroundings with his spatial power.

’Let’s do another three-step summoning and see who comes out this time...’

With that thought, he slammed his palm to the ground and activated the spell using the magic power he had just recovered.

After augmenting it with cosmic energy, he declared the corpses of the demons and divine humans all over as his ’offering’, and the law energy enveloped the lifeless bodies and consumed them.

Hundreds of summoning magic circles manifested on the ground, weaving a tapestry of arcane power.

From these circles emerged a legion of Epic Realm monsters, an assembly of giant two-headed Hellhounds that roared out ferociously before leaping towards the nearest divine humans and tearing them apart.

’Huh? I had not given orders yet. Did my intent perhaps get conveyed to them somehow?’

Arthur narrowed his eyes as he watched the Hellhounds and saw that they only attacked Aramisians and not Demons, despite him not having said anything.

’let’s test.’

The second step of the Summoning called out colossal three-headed Hellhounds at the Legendary Realm, their eyes glowing with light as they overlooked the area with their five-metre-tall bodies.

Upon summoning them, they looked towards him for orders and he didn’t say a word, instead, he thought in his mind that he wanted them to attack the divine humans.

[Level Up]

Immediately, the Hellhounds all turned around and roared out loud, releasing shockwaves with their magic powers before leaping off the ground and charging into battle.

"That confirms it, they can sense my intent without me actively having to give orders.

If that’s the case...let me try something else."

He infused more magic power into the summoning circle and the third step of the summoning consumed a few more corpses before activating.

Emerging from the circle was a giant seven-metre-tall hellhound, its six eyes gleaming with the light of intelligence as it looked at Arthur.

[Summoner. You appear not to be a resident of this world...I have not encountered such a situation before.]
