Chapter 386: god B down

’Localized Gravitation!’

The teenager activated the technique immediately, increasing the strength of gravity in the area around him. In that same instant, he reduced the range of the technique to a five-metre radius around him, concentrating the effects to increase its strength to the level where it could easily bend the magical beams of light.

|Localized Gravitation|

Arthur ignored the notifications that appeared in his field of vision, using water law energy to create pressurized torrents which he launched against the wave of molten rock. 𝚏𝐫𝚎𝗲𝕨𝐞𝐛𝕟𝚘𝐯𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝗺

"Celestia. Lostvayne."

The two swords obeyed his mental commands and flew up into the air, launching themselves towards the god and forcing him to slow his charge.

He had seen the state the goddess had been reduced to because of those weapons and didn’t want to be subjected to the same fate.

Nevertheless, the two sentient blades hurtled through the air at breakneck speeds, chasing him around and even manoeuvring to avoid the projectiles he threw at them.

As for Arthur who sent the two blades to him, the boy was busy beating the living daylights out of god C.

At first, things were quite even between the two. The god used his elements of light, earth, water and wind with his powerful divinity to bombard Arthur with a flurry of attacks.

This kept Arthur’s hands full as the boy was using Localized Gravitation to bend the light attacks, and time manipulation to slow any projectiles to give himself enough time to teleport away.

However, whenever he teleported to avoid one attack, there were two more waiting for him.

What’s more, C did not let Arthur get into close range, meaning that Arthur had no choice but to resort to ranged strikes.

Arthur unleashed multiple beams of destruction energy, using them to form a circular prison of light to trap the god, but C was as fast as the wind, always escaping the encirclement before it could be completed.

He was also very quick to change his trajectories mid-flight and avoid any sections of space that Arthur distorted.

All this was done while he was still wounded from Arthur’s earlier aura slash.

Dazzling bursts of energy sparked each time Arthur’s supersonic destruction-infused projectiles collided with C’s attacks, creating massive craters in the ground where they fought.

Foot soldiers nearby were all either blown to bits by the explosions generated when the attacks collided or sliced to shreds by the aura slashes Arthur released using swords he crafted from the Law of Swords’ energy.

This was the case for the first minute, but Arthur suddenly pulled a trick on the god that delayed his reaction by a second.

C was closely watching the ambient spatial laws, searing for any area with even the slightest ripple, so he knew where to attack whenever Arthur teleported.

However, before Arthur teleported, he created an orb of spatial energy and concealed it, detonating the orb in the same instant he reappeared after teleporting.

Due to this, C sensed ripples in space from two locations at once, and the short second he spent to search for which one was really Arthur, was enough for the progenitor to close the distance.

The long-range battle turned into a hand-to-hand fight very quickly.

Arthur found that C was quite adept at close combat as well, seamlessly weaving his elemental magic into swift strikes using blades of divine light, to gain some distance, and solid walls of earth to block Arthur’s punches.

The resounding impacts of their physical blows were accompanied by a different elemental attack, but regardless of whether he used a pressurized torrent of water or a storm of cutting wind blades, Arthur stopped them in time the moment they came into his effective range.

Undeterred by the elemental attacks, Arthur used his time manipulation to slow C’s movements, coating his fists in destructive energy to catch the god in the short moments when he switched the ’Slow’ to ’Stop’ before returning the command to ’Slow’.

The godslayer’s every punch carried the weight of increased gravity, slamming into C with overwhelming force and dealing severe damage to him.

Arthur’s anti-divinity within his fists disrupted C’s body energy circulation, reducing the efficiency and potency of his elemental attacks, gradually tipping the scales in his favour.

He exploited this and the even match quickly diverged, with Arthur seizing control and battering C with a relentless onslaught, each blow draining the god’s power.

Time-accelerated punches, augmented by gravitational force landed with unparalleled impact as he barrelled the god with a flurry of supersonic attacks.

Arthur’s barrage was interrupted suddenly when B who was being chased around by Lostvayne and Celestia changed directions and dashed towards him while sending flaming projectiles flying.

The boy’s lips curled up to a grin right before he teleported to dodge the projectiles and when C saw this, he felt a chill down his spine.

"NOO!! DON’T COME HERE!!!"

He quickly shouted a warning to B who had generated a massive spear of molten rock and was already throwing it in the direction where Arthur reappeared.

The man wanted to ask why C had shouted at him, but he didn’t get the chance as Lostvayne cut through the air and nearly pierced through his chest if he hadn’t avoided it at the last moment.

**KAABOOOMMM!!!!

An earth-shaking explosion rang out as the spear he had thrown hit...the empty ground.

"An Earth-shaking fist to follow up an Earth-shaking explosion."

His eyes widened as he heard Arthur’s voice beside his ears, but he did not even have the chance to react as the boy’s fist coated in earth law energy crashed into his back and sent him tumbling towards the ground.

The god’s body crashed with so much force it bounced back up, and Arthur was already beside him, sending a kick to his torso that sent him flying.

Before Arthur could follow up, dozens of blades of light suddenly rained down from above, forcing him to stop his movements and back away to avoid the earthen spears that rose out of the ground where he stood.

He teleported and reappeared beside B, ducking as soon as he reappeared. This sudden decision proved correct as it helped him avoid the torrent of pressurized water that passed where his head was a second later.

The teenager then grabbed onto the body of B who was still getting to his feet, flinging him into the path of the water torrent.

Although C quickly deactivated the technique and sent a storm of wind blades towards Arthur, the torrent had already knocked B in the head and sent him hurtling through the air.

Arthur slowed the wind blades with time magic, before jumping into the air and redirecting the time law energy to accelerate his movements to the limits.

He channelled spatial, gravitational and destruction energies, swirling them in the air in front of him, and like a fortune teller rolling their hands over a crystal ball, he moulded an orb of silver-coloured energy within his palms.

Cosmic energy powered his Pseudo-Authorities and he launched the dark silver hole of energy in the direction B was knocked towards.

|¬Accelerated Gravitational Singularity of Destruction. ¬|

Its size and range of destruction increased the further it went from him, and with its speed, it only needed two seconds to reach B’s location.

Before the god could even react, the dark silver hole’s gravitational pull dragged his body towards it, and even with his law energy and divinity, there was nothing he could do to avoid being sucked in.

***WHOOSH!!-VUP!

Arthur cancelled the technique midway, just as it had sucked up to B’s torso. The dark silver hole shrunk rapidly before disappearing, along with the lower half of the god’s body.

Golden blood and half-ripped organs spilt out of the upper half of his body and onto the ground, with the god’s torso falling onto the ground in a pool of his own blood.

Landing on the ground in front of him, Arthur punched a hole in the man’s chest and pulled out his divine spark, before turning towards C as he summoned one of his weapons.

"Celestia."

The sword flew into his right hand and he swung it at blinding speed, releasing an extinction slash that lopped C’s arm off from his elbow.

The boy unleashed a follow-up slash, but C was able to react to this one, jumping out of the wavy and avoiding the fate of having another body part unceremoniously severed.
