Chapter 361: Cataclysmic Divide

"Alvey?! What the heck?!"

While McEnda called out to his Friend worriedly, Arthur hoisted the Rule Breaker above his head. A torrent of his silvery aura erupted from within, asserting dominance over the ambient magic power and cosmic energy around him.

His eyes locked with Sigesi’s and in that same instant, the both of them spoke.

’Pseudo-Authority of Ice’ [Great Ice Calamity: Inversed Mountain.]

’Mountain Split + Extinction Slash’ |¬Cataclysmic Divide¬|

The massive mountain Sigesi summoned began spinning rapidly as it descended towards Arthur, who swung Lostvayne in response.

Cataclysmic Divide—was a name that Arthur just thought of on the fly, for the result of the combination of Mountain Split’s Destructiveness with Extinction Slash’s Severance.

Lostvayne released a massive slash that cut through the magic power and demonic energy that constituted the mountain with otherworldly precision, creating a cascade of silvery sparks.

Arthur completed the full swing, with the Inversed Mountain succumbing to the dominating force of the slash, rupturing the energies binding the structure and cracking the mountain apart.

Chunks of both demonic and ice universal law energy dispersed in every direction as the power behind Arthur’s slash fragmented the mountain into chaotic torrents and scattered them like celestial debris.

Shockwaves rippled through the air, clearing out all the clouds in the sky and even shattering the defensive barriers of the Legendries who tried to protect the ground from the force.

If it wasn’t for the Transcendent Realm McEnda who took action, then the shockwaves might’ve just flattened a portion of Militopolis.

However, the shockwaves weren’t the only problem.

Arthur’s slash violently fragmented the inversed mountain, turning it into chunks of ice that rained down on the ground, enough to flatten the rest of the city and the surrounding lands if they reached the ground.

But Sigesi had no intentions of letting that happen.

With her Pseudo Authority, she exerted control over the shattered fragments and hurled them towards Arthur at supersonic speed.

Multiple sonic booms rang out in quick succession as the large masses of ice hurtled through the air.

Arthur quickly let go of Lostvayne, surrounding his body with time law energy to accelerate his movements to the limit.

At that moment, he drew upon both the ambient spatial, gravitational and destruction energies, as well as the ones he possessed from comprehending these three laws, swirling them around in the air in front of him.

His rose his palms and like a fortune teller rolling their hands over their crystal ball, he moulded an orb of silver-coloured energy that seemed to suck everything inside, within his palms.

The power of his Pseudo-Authority was also drawn in as well, along with a LOT of cosmic energy and a hint of Null’s power.

’Space + Gravity to create. Destruction to increase the damage. Time to Accelerate so it all happens in an instant.’

With those thoughts, Arthur parted his lips and called out the name of this technique.

|¬Accelerated Gravitational Singularity of Destruction. ¬|

Honestly, it was quite a mouthful.

And so was the effect.

The gravitational pull of the ’thing’ Arthur had created drew in all the icy chunks, redirecting their trajectories from him to the dark silver hole of energy in his palms.

It wasn’t too big, only about 30 cm wide in diameter, and when he let go of it, it became larger and the range of its destruction expanded.

The spacetime along the movement path of the orb broke down catastrophically, as it sucked in and destroyed everything within a short range of it.

And right now, that ’everything’ consisted of all the chunks of ice that made up the Inversed Mountain.

***WHOOSH!!-VUP!

It only took an instant.

Arthur’s time law energy made sure of that.

One second; there were enough chunks of ice rocks in front of Arthur, enough to create a second, albeit smaller Inversed Mountain, and the next; they had all been sucked through the singularity.

Sigesi’s body was also pulled towards it as well, and it was only through her Pseudo Authority’s power that she could escape its gravitational field. 𝒇𝒓𝙚𝒆𝔀𝓮𝓫𝒏𝓸𝙫𝓮𝓵.𝓬𝙤𝙢

"..."

"..."

Silence pervaded the area after the Singularity disappeared.

Everyone was dumbfounded.

Alvey was the most surprised of them all, as the man believed he had estimated Arthur’s strength very well.

However, the boy had defied his expectations.

Well...his estimations weren’t too far off, but Arthur had just gotten stronger during this fight with Sigesi.

He didn’t have any technique like ’Cataclysmic Divide’ before, after all.

The boy’s control over time, spatial, gravitational and destruction law energies had also gotten more refined.

And he was finally able to execute the ’Accelerated Gravitational Singularity of Destruction [AGSD]’ that he had thought about when he was still training with Lucifer.

"...you’re one box of surprises."

"Back home, most people called me the personification of ’Unpredictability’."

Arthur replied to Sigesi as he sent unsummoned Lostvayne, causing the demon to raise her brow in question.

"You’re not going to continue using it."

"Why would I? I’m not trying to kill you."

His words sounded arrogant but they could not be any more truthful. If he used Lostvayne against Sigesi, he could kill her by accident.

It wouldn’t be his power but the Sword’s power, however, the end result of her death would still be the same.

And something told him that McEnda wouldn’t take that lightly.

This was taking away the fact that Gozon’s Demon Kings had their eyes on her.

The young progenitor summoned the energies of the law of time and destruction, not holding back on the cosmic energy infusion as he began swirling both laws around Celestia.

’I think I may be able to form another technique from this...’

While he had that thought, Sigesi looked at his sword and got the hint, noting that Arthur intended to end things.

’Frostshade.’

Her sword appeared in her hand and she poured her demonic energy and aura into it, releasing a massive pillar of blue light from the blade.

Seeing this, Arthur changed his mind and withdrew his law energy, switching it for his aura and activating Sword of Victory.

Their attacks met in a dazzling display, with an explosive release of aura that sent shockwaves rippling through the air, creating a concussive blast that knocked both combatants backwards.

Sigesi waved her hands and created an octagonal ring of ice law energy, creating thousands of intricate razor-edged blades of ice around Arthur.

’He can use the law of time and can teleport...if that’s the case I have to restrain him so he cannot teleport and fill the area dense enough energy to disrupt his Pseudo Authority techniques.

In that case...!’

She released a surge of energy that washed over the area, and sensing the hints of spatial attribute infused in it, Arthur guessed what she was about to do.

He took similar actions, releasing his time and spatial energies into the area to push back hers as they both called out simultaneously.

""Bounded Fi—"" ""That’s Enough.""

Alvey and McEnda appeared behind Arthur and Sigesi respectively, placing their palms on the two’s shoulders and forcefully cancelling the techniques they were about to use with their superior power.

"Jack, why a—."

"Official setting, Brigadier General."

Sigesi’s eyes widened slightly and she held a hand over her mouth, realising her slip up and quickly correcting herself.

"Apologies, General McEnda."

She unsummoned her sword and retracted her aura, taking a deep breath to calm herself while Arthur let go of Celestia and yawned while stretching.

The boy looked down on the ground, at the multitude of demons looking up at them and his lips curled up slightly.

"Seems that demonstration was suitable enough."

The Demons of Militopolis were definitely going to look at him with awe, fear, and respect when next they saw him—exactly what he wanted.

’I should use my Progenitor Authority and the law of fate’s energy to test out that Universal Influence thingy when I have time.’

The boy decided to ignore how much of a commotion his fight with Sigesi had caused, leaving all of that to Alvey and McEnda to sort out, like it wasn’t his business.

He directed a cursory glance towards Sigesi and saw the demon whispering something in McEnda’s ear. Whatever it was, it was enough to make the Transcendent Demon General flinch with apparent ’fear’.
