Chapter 333: Infernal Grasp, Zealot’s Thunderstrike
For those ones that leapt through space, he summoned a sword of darkness and kept his spatial perception up in order to target them and deal with them before they could teleport.
Eventually, Nicole, whose energy reserves were naturally not infinite, ran out of energy to power the attack and the bombardment came to an end, creating an opportunity for Kulir to launch his counterattack.
Unfortunately—
’What now?!’
The god discovered he was suddenly unable to move and on closer inspection, he discovered that the spatial laws around him were constricting around his body.
The amount of spatial energy in the area was higher after Nicole’s barrage and the fact that the lances that hit him marked him with spatial energy, an energy that the teenage devil used to restrain his movements and hold him in place long enough for her next companion to attack.
Of course, she entered an energy-deficient state right after this.
But before that, Esna slammed her palms on the ground, sending her magic power through the earth in the form of intense hot flames that swept across the area and melted the earth.
Clenching her fist, she gathered both normal earthen rocks and molten earth to surround Kulir’s body.
A strong gravitational pull affected him and kept him in place even after Nicole’s spatial lock imitation had been broken, and the surge of rocks and molten earth that came after trapped him inside.
Seeing this, Idall who had regained consciousness, rose his arms and generated a single gigantic sword of all the light law energy he could garner in an instant, swinging it down towards Kulir before he could break out of the ball of earth.
***KAAABOOOMMMM!!!!
The sword of light ignited the lingering flame energy within the molten earth and created a massive explosion of flames and smoke.
Just this was already dealing great damage to Kulir, but Esna was not done yet.
In his wounded state, Kulir noticed that the gravity around him was turning weird once more and he tried to escape, but Esna created a miniature singularity that pulled in everything within 5 metres of him faster than he could even get to his feet.
All the molten rock that had scattered before was forcefully drawn back towards him, right before the already fragile ground cracked open once more, with a giant earthen fist construct emerging from within.
"Infernal Grasp."
The fist had cracks spreading all around it, allowing what seemed to be lava to flow through these crevices. Raging flames burned around the palm of this fist that was more than large enough to hold even a massive-bodied ogre.
It grabbed onto the restrained Kulir and smashed him within, delivering a blow that not only inflicted physical and flame elemental damage but also imposed a small stun debuff on him in the process.

Looking at Esna who was executing an attack that used law essence, Undine had an analytical magic circle floating in front of her eyes as she tried to discern something about the godslayer girl.
’There’s no way this girl is just a normal breed. She has to be at least either be a ’High Breed’, an ’Arch Breed’ or possibly even an ’Eld-Hmm?’
Her spatial perception picked up on something and she turned her gaze to the side, the magic circles floating in front of her eyes vanishing as she spoke.
[You’ve been quite silent since you got here, not planning to interfere?]
In response to her question, a voice replied.
"I care for their safety and all, but I’m not blind as to see that they are currently overcoming their limits and improving their strength to greater heights.
No way I’d interfere with ’that’."

As Esna’s spell did a good job of stunning Kulir, Edward came in through, as if it was a QTE, summoning a giant towering whirlwind that swirled around the area.
Tongues of flames licked across the swirling wind, instantly transforming it into a devastating storm that wrecked Kulir’s body.
Edward then slammed his shield onto the ground and angled it, before climbing onto it and back kicking it with his foot infused with aura, activating his damage counter simultaneously.
**BOOM!!
The effect sent his body propelling into the air at breakneck speed.
Mid-air, he pulled out his longsword and condensed all his aura into his palm, sliding his hand across the blade and infusing it with energy.
The longsword glowed with a bright white light and tendrils of lightning snaked across it, he then spun his body and delivered a full-powered swing while calling out the name of his new technique.
"Sixth of Sword: Zealot’s Thunderstrike!"
***BOOOOMMM!!!!!!
The thunderous echoes of the single catastrophic strike reverberated through the battlefield, evoking a sense of awe and terror as Kulir’s body was enveloped in a torrent of searing power.
This ’Sixth of Sword’ was something that Edward had just created, and not a technique that had existed in the ’Numbered Sword Ascension’ technique of the Castillo family the boy always used.
It was also worth noting that the other three had also just created these skills and spells right now.
Anyway, the white flames of the tornado and Edward’s white lightning ignited in a massive explosion, releasing a thunderous noise that could burst one’s eardrums.
Edward flipped over and landed on the floor, a frown adorning the handsome teenager’s face as he stared at the explosion in front of him.
"What’s...wrong?"
Layla asked with deep breaths in between her words, a drop of blood trickling down her lips as she forced herself to stand despite how much damage she had taken from Kulir’s divinity-infused strike.
Edward glanced at he and showed momentary surprise upon noticing her pupils were different, but he quickly switched gears and addressed the more important issue at hand.
"The feedback I received from that attack.
It wasn’t the kind to come from someone getting hit one-sidedly...."
As soon as she heard his words, Layla’s brain instantly figured out what he was insinuating as her eyes went wide, her conjecture being conformed with Edwards’ next words.
"It was the feedback that came from someone blocking my attack."
The instant his words flowed from his lips, a massive wave of divinity spread out omnidirectionally, quenching all the flames and clearing up the smoke in an instant, whilst simultaneously revealing the form of the Malevolent god of darkness for them to see.
His armour was broken all over, part of his hair had been burnt off, and he was bleeding all over, especially from his forehead and his torso.
This showed that the man was indeed greatly damaged, but the two of them could tell, that he was still in a state where he could continue combat...and they were not.
The last chain of unique attacks they had just used had consumed most, if not all of their energies.
Even Layla and Nicole who had the highest energy reserves out of the quartet were both down to less than 10% and completely drained out respectively.
But Kulir was the opposite.
