Chapter 332: Imaginary Armament, Void Torrent
The force propelled him upwards into the air, where a radiant burst of divinity enveloped him, followed by a massive four-ringed spell circle of golden light.
"Luminous Nova!"
A swirling vortex of luminescence materialized above Kulir’s body, intensifying to a blinding zenith in an instant before unleashing its fury on the form of the Darkness god who was hurriedly summoning his energy to block.
The sheer force and radiance of the universal law of light surged through the air, penetrating most of Kulir’s defences and enveloping him in an overwhelming wave of divinity.
"RAAAAAA!!!!!"
The god roared out in rage as his energy burst out, blanketing the radiance of the luminous nova in pitch-black darkness and blotting out the light.
He shot towards Idall, colliding fists with the god and instantly raining a flurry of blows that left him incapacitated after a few smashed into his head.
Without a break, Kulir conjured a sword of darkness and turned around to block Layla’s sword swing, before exchanging blows with her and forcing her back with each swing.
She tried to shoot with her mini-railgun but Kulir instantly transformed the sword into a giant Warhammer.
He then spun his body around at supersonic speed and slammed the side of the girl’s body faster than she could react, breaking some of her bones with the impact.
Taking advantage of his momentum, he spun around once more, transforming the Warhammer into a spear and throwing it straight into Esna’s Tier 4 Magic Spell circle, shattering it and giving the godslayer girl backlash that had her vomiting blood.
He tried to ascend into the skies after this but was met with the wide-open jaws of a watery dragon.
**BOOM!!
A massive crater opened up in the ground as his collision with the first water dragon, and the other two that followed sent him crashing deep into the earth.
"?!"
Sensing a surge of energy in the sky, Kulir cleared up the dust clouds in around him, his eyes zeroing in on Layla’s form that floated in the air with her wings spread wide open.
"Weapon Creation."
The air crackled with tendrils of silvery energy that snaked around Layla’s body, a sight that made Undine who was now on Idall’s shoulder healing the wounded god, smile.

As she spoke, Layla’s pupils underwent a transformation. They morphed into the shape of a gear symbol with five tiny gear teeth, taking on a silver hue and a serrated circle appeared around them.
Her magic power, ether, and aura, as well as the Epic Grade Magic stone in her palm, were all simultaneously consumed by the law of creation, and in return, her imaginary constructs were brought into reality.
’Imaginary Armament.’
A massive omnidirectional array of hover guns manifested, their nozzles all pointed towards Kulir’s figure on the ground.
"Fire."
Her single-word command had the hover guns spitting out beams of grey light, her dark aura being mixed with the watered-down essence of the law of creation.
Kulir didn’t just stand there and watch the scene, generating multiple square-shaped shields of darkness that shifted around and blocked each one, however, his energy consumption was great as the beams of light were just way too fast, and way too numerous to handle.
In the midst of this, Layla blitzed in herself and swung her sword towards his neck, but the god was still able to react, coating his forearm in darkness energy and swinging it like a sword to meet her slash.
Without hesitation, Layla held up her empty right palm towards his head, an unexpected twist unfolding. Instead of summoning a firearm as he anticipated, her very forearm transformed into a railgun.
"Wha-?!"
*BOOM!!
The point-blank range beam of grey light nearly had Kulir’s head if he hadn’t shifted at the last moment, but even so, just by grazing the side of his face, the beam of light destroyed the darkness law energy layer he had around his body like a second skin.
He released a sharp battle cry and unleashed a supersonic palm strike with his arm coated in divinity, straight to Layla’s chest and sending the teenage devil girl flying like a ragdoll.
’The black-winged ones are weak to divinity, that should take her down for the count.’
Just as he thought that, a ring of blue ether manifested on the ground beneath him, followed by a barrage of etheric lances of water erupting from below.
He moved his body around to evade, coating his legs in energy and stomping down to block the ones that emerged faster than he could dodge.
Kulir frowned and coated his leg in universal law energy, stomping it down and easily shattering the ring of ether.
But as soon as he did that, his spatial perception caught three incoming projectiles and he waved his hand in response, summoning three bolts of dark lightning that knocked the projectiles out of the sky.
**BOOM! BOOMM! BOOOMM!!!
Amidst the blinding explosions, Kulir, who had finally managed to deal with the effects of Esna’s debuff that impaired his vision, looked up to see Nicole floating in the air with three lances of water hovering right behind her.
The girl gestured and the three lances shot forward at sonic speed, but he destroyed them with lightning just like before.
In that instant, inspiration seemed to flow into Nicole’s brain and a glint appeared in her eyes.
She snapped her fingers and a dozen lances appeared around Kulir, shooting towards him at supersonic speed, but the god released a burst of energy that shattered all the lances with ease.
But the time it took for him to do that, was enough for Nicole who possessed the balance-breaking AquaGenesis ability to finish her new skill construction.
Her purple eyes glowed lightly and a new runic sigil manifested on her soul, signifying the completion of her new original skill.
She spread out her arms and the space behind her trembled and broke apart, heralding the manifestation of dozens of dark blue portals.
"Void Torrent."
From the void beyond the dark blue portals, she summoned a conflagration of lances consisting of etheric water and spatial power.
The bursting energy of the concentrated bombardment dealt tremendous water elemental and spatial damage to everything within a kilometre radius.
At first, Kulir was about to block the bombardment the same way he did Layla’s earlier barrage, but he suddenly noticed that the spears were tearing rifts through the air.
He summoned a sword of darkness and slashed one of them down, but the explosion of ethereal energy was the same as he expected with nothing too strange.
’Then wh-!’
His thoughts came to a halt as one of the lances that was still a good twenty metres away from him, suddenly tore through space and appeared less than a centimetre away from his forehead.
**BAAMM!!
The lance slammed into his head and knocked him back, with another appearing right in front of his leg and knocking him off one foot.
Simultaneously another one appeared right in front of his hand and blasted the sword of darkness he conjured to bits.
Brought down to one knee, Kulir released a burst of divinity that knocked back all the lances within 50 metres before taking distance, but the bombardment continued and that distance was filled with lances in a mere second.
His spread-out energy allowed him to perceive that the space around the lances was distorted slightly, and those with greater distortions were the ones who teleported right in front of him after getting within a certain range.
’I see! She’s using the energy that got on me after that explosion earlier to make them home in on me. So, the moment they get within a certain range, they all teleport to a random part of my body!’
The man figured out the danger of Nicole’s new skill, about the fact that she applied the effect of the Blink spell to some of the lances, making them leap through space and ignore distance constraints.
Immediately he made this discovery, the man stomped his foot on the ground and created a massive four-ringed magic circle, summoning misshapen projectiles of earth and darkness law energy to counter all the water lances, except the ones that leapt through space.
