Chapter 328: Kulir II
’First, I’d defeat them all.’
As if they could sense these thoughts of his, the four teenagers simultaneously took action, flaring their auras as they shot forward while casting magic.
Kulir waved his hand and the energy of the universal laws of darkness and shadows twisted and surged forward in a torrential wave.
Bolts of magic and bursts of elemental spells collided with the wave of darkness, illuminating the battlefield with flashes of brilliance against the encroaching darkness.
Idall didn’t sit back doing nothing, rousing the power of the universal law of light and charging forward too.
The earth shook as the powerful attacks collided, and the area flashed with bursts of light and darkness.
The five of them encircled the Malevolent god Kulir, their powers surging forth as they unleashed another symphony of elemental magic.
Layla conjured massive tornadoes that swept across the field, intertwining with the mighty ear quake caused by Esna’s spells.
Flanking him, Nicole and Edward synergized their spells, with one waving her hands to generate surges of water that ebbed and flowed like a dance, while the other cast bolts of lightning that dance through the air and illuminated the battlefield like a thunderstorm.
Idall bathed Kulir’s form in radiant beams of condensed universal law energy, fighting against the god’s darkness, restricting and sealing the effects of his life-draining decay.
Kulir didn’t just stand there and take their attacks, as he enshrouded himself in a layer of darkness and deftly countered each spell with lethal precision.
Dark tendrils lashed out, blocking all the projectiles and retaliating with his own elemental spells mixed with bolts of death law energy that sought to drain the life out of his adversaries.
The battlefield turned into a symphony of magic that forced the other Benevolent gods and the allied armies to retreat for fear of being killed by any stray attacks.

The battlefield turned into a symphony of magic that forced the other Benevolent gods and the allied armies to retreat for fear of being killed by any stray attacks.
The Malevolent god of Metal made no intentions to interfere, instead, he stayed back to deal with Ayaan and the other Benevolent gods who wanted to move to aid the quintet facing Kulir.
Without Esna’s weakening effect, the god was able to use his full strength without any issues and said full strength proved to be a challenge for the other gods who were only normal Epic Realms.
Meanwhile, the quintet fighting Kulir were unleashing a symphony of elemental spells, but the god of darkness effortlessly deflected all their attacks.
Since using her strongest Element, Darkness, against a god of Darkness who could control the energy of the law itself was nothing but the height of folly, Layla opted to use her next best element of Wind.
She summoned a wind storm that tore through the air, but Kulir countered with swirling shadows that dispersed her attacks with ease.
Nicole conjured surges and waves of water crashed towards him, but he was ready with a wall of darkness to defend himself.
Synergizing with her water magic, Edward infused his white lightning into the watery onslaught but the god of darkness conjured esoteric shields that absorbed the combined attack with ease.
Idall entered the scene, a radiant brilliance exuding from his form as he forged countless swords of concentrated light, their rays cutting through Kulir’s darkness.
Seeing this, the Malevolent god Leader retaliated with a barrage of his own darkness projectiles, his superior Law Energy quality enabling him to shatter the light swords effortlessly.
At that moment, Esna teleported right behind Kulir and delivered a precise palm strike to the back of his chest, infusing a knockback effect that send him tumbling forward.
’Deplete Resistance.
Elemental Damage Breach-Positive
Negative Impact Increase.
Resistance Negation, Fire.
Elemental Damage-Negative.
Curse of Weakness.
Poisonous Venom.
Delay Magic: Burden of Gravitas.’
In that instant her hand made contact with his back, she activated all the spells she had charged and then teleported away an instant before Kulir turned around and threw a punch in her direction.
She reappeared behind him once more, this time, with a three-ringed flaming red magic circle in front of her.
"Firestorm!"
**BOOOOMMMMM!!!
The area was engulfed in a tremendous explosion, one that Edward decided to take advantage of and call down multiple bolts of lightning, aiming to ignite with the flames and trigger a chain reaction explosion.
However, Kulir stamped his foot on the ground, summoning pillars of earth that rose to the sky and collided with the descending lightning bolts, thwarting the human boy’s plan.
Before the explosion had even died down completely, Idall concentrated light law energy in his hands and generated a giant sword, blitzing in and delivering a swing that severed the pillars of earth and closed in on Kulir.
Seeing this, the god of darkness infused divinity into his palms and caught the blade with his hands. In that same instant, he turned his head in the opposite direction and cast a spell.
"Lightless Rain."
A dense inky darkness spread out in the form of a rain shower, colliding with the incoming water javelins and disrupting the energy within them, causing them to explode mid-flight.
Suddenly, the ground beneath Kulir caved open, and a pillar of flames erupted from below, engulfing his body in a blazing inferno. But with a burst of black wind, he cleared the flames and kicked off into the air.
His body bore the marks of burns, surprising him as his wounds refused to heal—an effect of Esna’s godslayer attribute he was unaware of.
Seeing the god going airborne, Esna snapped her fingers and activated a spell.
’Delay Magic: Burden of Gravitas Activate!’
Kulir who was shooting up into the air suddenly had his weight triple, causing him to lose control of his flight and plummet towards the ground. He tried to reorient himself but he found that there seemed to be something preventing him from controlling his body properly.
"First of Sword!"
Edward blitzed in and unleashed a powerful curved slash of white lightning that struck Kulir’s body, hurtling him towards Idall who summoned a giant humanoid half-body avatar of light that wielded a giant Warhammer which it swung down towards Kulir.
Just when the devastating blow was about to land, the darkness god finally broke out of Esna’s debuff at the last moment and conjured a massive shield of darkness to block the incoming strike.
**BOOOOMMM!!!!
The impact with the shield sent Kulir’s body crashing towards the ground, creating a massive crater that spanned hundreds of metres wide and twice that in depth.
Even so, his darkness shield stood strong and he was unharmed. He even had the leeway to drag his leg across the ground, generating earthen magic circles that fired black earthen projectiles toward Edward and Esan, whilst simultaneously converging the darkness energy of his shield into a concentrated beam of darkness which he unleashed to obliterate the avatar’s Warhammer of light.
With a flick of his hand, he activated another Tier 3 Darkness spell, sending it forth to destroy the avatar while he turned around and coated his palms in divinity, stretching them out to catch Layla’s sonic sword slash and Nicole’s lance thrust.
The force knocked him back a bit and made his feet drag across the ground but he maintained his grip on their weapons.
His eyes flashed and multiple spikes of earth shot up from behind Layla, aiming to impale her through her back, but wrestled her sword from his grip and executed a backflip to evade the attack.
Mid-air, she used her reequip ability and swapped out her sword for the Railgun, charging it up and unleashing a single electrifying bullet with condensed universal law energy.
Kulir instinctively sensed the danger in that attack and swiftly activated one of his defensive artifacts to shield himself from the attack.
**KABOOOMM!!!!!
The railgun bullet collided with the shield and resulted in a massive explosion that destroyed the artifact; however, it did not have the power left to harm Kulir after this.
Taking flight once more, Layla, Nicole and Idall gave chase, their energies charged up as they engaged him in a relentless aerial assault.
Layla and Nicole, exhibited exceptional coordination, launching a barrage of attacks that barely gave Kulir the time to mount proper counterattacks.
Recognizing that he could not but in, Idall focused on distracting Kulir to allow the two teenage devils to maintain their offensive onslaught.
He succeeded and the two girls were able to deliver simultaneous slashes with their Sword and lance respectively, sending Kulir flying towards the ground.
But on the way down, Kulir extended his arm and released multiple tendrils of darkness that wrapped around Layla’s arm and pulled her along with him faster than he could react.
In a swift motion, he flipped in the air and swung it downward, slamming the girl’s body into the ground with massive force.

Hey y’all, it’s your friendly neighborhood author, _michael here. 👋🏽
Well, there’s certainly a lot I wanna say but I also want to keep this short so I’d just stick to the main stuff.
🥇First and foremost, for older readers who have already read far into the story. Remember that filler arc about a sports festival? somewhere around Chapters 142 and 147?
Yeah, I scrapped that.
Not completely, per se.
I just took those five fillers and compressed them into one long Chapter.
This action, left me with five free spaces to put more important, main story related content, and I did exactly just that.
Chapters 142 to 149 looked something like this before:
Chapter 142 - Sports Festival begins
Chapter 143 - Death Bridge Run! I
Chapter 144- Death Bridge Run! Il
Chapter 145 - Tentacle Guard
Chapter 146 - Fall Towers
Chapter 147 - Garuda Shoot & Wall Break
Chapter 148 - Preparations
Chapter 149 - Reactions
But now, it should resemble something like this:
Chapter 142 - The Sports Festival
Chapter 143- Preparations
Chapter 144- Reactions
Chapter 145- Onerth Galaxy
Chapter 146-1000 word-l mean, 1000 seconds
Chapter 147-The demigod Necromancer l
Chapter 148-The demigod Necromancer ll
Chapter 149- The demigod Necromancer lll
As I said earlier, I compressed those unnecessary Chapters into one big Chapter you really don’t need to read if you’ve already read it before, and I added a little extra arc that kind of relates to the main story inside.
From the titles, you can already guess what it’s about, but I’m sure y’all would still read it either way, right? 😄
...right? 😢
ANYWAY, you guys should go check it out and see what changes I made.
🥈Secondly, the Chapter update schedule.
This is kind of the more important one for most of you though.
Anyway, it’s glaringly obvious that I’ve been going through various Chapter update frequencies in the past few months, so much that even I’m put off by it.
So, I decided to stabilize things a bit, and provided there are no IRL complications, I should be able to stick to a 4 chaps/week schedule.
Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays.
I’d do my best to keep up with this.
🥉Thirdly, I have nothing else to say except thank you for following Godslayer’s Legend up to this point. I see all your power stones, Golden tickets, and privilege purchases, and they are very much appreciated.
I’d be picking up the story’s pace from this point on, so sit back and enjoy the ride.
Thanks for your understanding and I look forward to you continuing on our Godslayer’s Legend.
This has been _michael.
