’11 down. 4 Sparks. Pity the tornadoes didn’t kill any of them. I guess the Legendries wouldn’t be Legendries if they couldn’t at least block that.’

"Infermum Sanction!"

Several columns of fire infused with the elemental universal law’s power came into being around him, before spinning towards a nearby incoming quintet of half-gods.

The skies suddenly darkened and Arthur looked up to see an Earthen spear of gigantic proportions descending from above with ribbons of flames and crackling lightning adorning its exterior.

Infused with a potent blend of the law of destructive essence and the divine energy of a Legendary realm demigod, its descent heralded catastrophic devastation.

In the face of this incoming gargantuan attack, Arthur shot towards the ground, creating a small crater on the ground with his landing.

"Celestia. You’re gonna have to sit this one out."

[...]

The sword didn’t make any silly replies as she could also tell that there wasn’t just magic power with the law energies of fire and lightning around it.

The sheer amount of divinity and destruction energies contained with it sent alarm bells ringing through Arthur’s very being.

’They aren’t playing around at all. They’re really gonna try and kill me even if it means some of their allies would also get caught up.’

As the Epic realms were busy trying to get as far away as they could, Arthur didn’t have anyone obstructing him and he tightened his grip on Lostvayne while staring at the incoming projectile.

"I feel like I can do it now if I tried..."

Muttering to himself, he shifted his stance, extending one leg forward while pulling the other back slightly, hoisting his sword high into the heavens.

A torrent of his potent aura erupted from within, asserting dominance over the ambient magic power and cosmic energy that surrounded him.

With a profound exhale, a breath of energy escaped his lips, as his intense focus narrowed his awareness, shutting out the external world.

No words entered his ears.

He devoted his entire focus to executing this technique.

Cosmic energy seeped into his body and strengthened it to a ridiculous degree, the muscles on his arm tensed and his pulsating veins became visible through his skin.

The energy of the law of destruction coalesced around Lostvayne, the veins on the blade lighting up with crimson light and Arthur felt his law comprehensions increasing in real time.

All his movements were accelerated with the power of the law of time, so although it seemed like a lot of time had passed, it had only been a few seconds in reality.

The few seconds required for the giant earthen projectile that was more than a dozen kilometres in width and length to pierce through the clouds and descend towards the ground with relentless force.

Looking at this, Arthur’s blue-coloured vertical pupils were slowly tainted with the crimson red of destruction.

He then performed a single powerful downward slash as he called out with parted lips.

"First Split: Mountain Split."

*WHOOOSSHHH!!!!!

A wave of destructive energy surged forward in a single mighty slash that flew towards the incoming attack.

***KAAABOOOOOOMMMMMM!!!!

The slash of destructive energy cleaved through the immense projectile, igniting a devastating explosion that engulfed the surrounding area, obliterating all within a radius of thousands of miles.

The very air reverberated with the deafening resonance of a cataclysmic explosion, its thunderous roar echoing through the vast expanse.

Even the Superior Epic demigods, caught in the wake of the devastating blast, suffered severe injuries.

Despite this, the slash of destruction was not done yet, as it tore through the skies, nearly rending the Legendary demigod responsible for the devastating attack in twain.

Luckily for him, he evaded at the eleventh hour, though not unscathed.

One of his arms was torn asunder, everything from the shoulder downwards being deleted from existence by the crimson-red energy of destruction.

The sheer agony, compounded with the soul-rending pain of the energy of destruction and the fact that the attack was dealt by a godslayer, forced from him an anguished scream that reverberated across the entire expanse, second only to the sound of the catastrophic explosion.

Now then, Arthur’s battle with these demigods had long alerted the Authorities in the country they were in, especially after the boy had blasted a mountain to nothing.

They had sent multiple Legendary Realm figures to investigate, but upon seeing the titanic explosion from afar and hearing the blood-curdling scream that rang out afterwards, they were compelled to retreat in fear.

Their curiosity and duty to investigate were overridden by a primal instinct for self-preservation.

"Did you teach him this?"

"I thought him ’Mountain Split’. Not whatever ’that’ was."

The voice of the familiar Devil King’s Vestige, or rather, the ’new’ Lucifer rang out in reply to the question posed by the mother of the young godslayer boy who was part cause of the giant mushroom cloud of smoke and flames that was stretching up into the skies.

He had just finished getting used to his new body when Cattleya suddenly said Arthur was in danger and immediately exited the domain.

Both he and Creusery followed right after her, with him taking this as a chance to stretch his legs while the latter was slightly worried Cattleya might go overboard.

However, when they arrived and saw what was happening, they all decided to remain silent and watch the fight while Cattleya dispatched a few clones to pressure the Authorities of the Country they were in and the powerful existences of this planet, preventing them from interfering.

(The Legendries sent to investigate had been sent before her clones got to their destinations.)

"Anyway. It’s good that he’s able to now use the first of the Split Series. I also transferred the knowledge of the others to his head so he’d be able to execute them in due time.

For now, let’s just sit back and watch.

Besides, you, more than anyone else, need to see how powerful the boy is."

He spoke with a meaningful tone and though Cattleya understood what he was hinting at, she chose to remain silent and watch Arthur face off against the Legendries.

The aftermath of the explosion bore witness to a scarred and transformed landscape, a testament to the clash of powers that just occurred.

The Authorities of the country they were in were thanking their gods that the area Arthur and the demigods were fighting was in a desert-like area with no cities in sight for miles, otherwise, the civilian casualties would have been in the hundreds of thousands by now.

Floating lightly above the now molten earth, amidst the smoke and flames, the young progenitor stared dazedly into the air as his brain took a while to compute the new comprehensions of ’destruction’ that he had just attained.

This, however, did not mean he was defenceless as if anyone were to come close to him, he was going to attack with destructive energy on instinct, even if the person was his mother.

His opponents, on the other hand, didn’t have the time to take advantage of this as they were more concerned about their ally whose arm had been deleted from existence.

They spread out their energies to sense how many of the Epics were still alive, frowning when they noticed that all the intermediate stages had died and only five of the Superior stages were left.

A force of 25 Epics, reduced to five within an hour.

Though the deaths of 9 were a result of the fact that they were unable to escape the collision between Arthur’s mountain split and the gargantuan earthen projectile.

In the end, this meant there were only 10 people left to fight against Arthur whom they sensed was still alive amidst the smoke.

Naturally, the boy was injured all over due to the explosion, as even his cosmic energy coat was not powerful enough to protect him fully.

The law energies of the universal laws contained in the attacks also festered around his wounds, slowing down his regeneration, despite his sub-cosmic physiology’s traits.

This showed that he would have been in a much worse situation if he was not Sub Cosmic, then again, Arthur would not have taken such an action if he wasn’t.

He would have simply made use of the plethora of defensive artifacts that he carried around in his subspace, courtesy of his mother and grandmother.

After nearly a minute, Arthur finally snapped out of his daze, taking a moment to glance around him and he could not help but let out a gasp of surprise.

"...I was part of the cause of this? Mehn, I’m a lot stronger than I thought."

Indeed, he was. After all, his energies were higher in quality due to the fact that he comprehended universal laws, so what he could do with 10 units of energy, others would need around 55 units to achieve.

Of course, this applied only to beings below the transcendent realm who did not comprehend laws yet.
