Chapter 300: Lightning Qintempest
Finally! 300 Chaps! đŻ
Arthur used his wings as a catalyst to converge his magic power, infusing the energy of the law of wind and materializing a swirling vortex of raw elemental force.
Pouring in more magic power, one became five, resulting in a quintet of monstrous tornadoes that danced with malicious intent.
Lightning-attributed magic power was infused, making the air crackle with the silver electricity as the tornadoes roared into existence with ferocious winds that tore apart the surroundings with an insatiable hunger.
Arthur dodged a slash that threatened to slice his head, before flicking his fingers and releasing a small blast of aura that made the Legendary take distance to dodge.
This gave Arthur time to secretly infuse the energy of the law of wind into the tornadoes, increasing their destructive potency to a whole new level.
"This oneâs an original. Iâd let you guys be its debut targets.
Wind Magic: Lightning Qintempest."
The young progenitor spoke as he silently manipulated the ambient cosmic energies, making them swirl into the tornadoes that shot out in the direction of the other demigods who were surrounding him.
They unleashed spells and aura techniques towards the incoming tornadoes, but they all proved useless against the five colossal cosmic energy-powered tornadoes, charged with crackling bolts of silver lightning.
Before the power of the universal law of wind, half-godsâ spells were shredded apart by the merciless blades of wind within the vortexes.
Rocks, debris, and even the hapless inferior stage Epics were sucked towards the swirling maelstrom, but luckily, they were saved from doom by the Legendries.
Even so, the five swirling tornadoes served to prevent anyone else from interfering with Arthurâs battle against the sword-wielding demigod as the tornadoes swirled around in a circle, forming a protective barrier with silver lightning that threatened to roast anything that came close.
In the middle of this quintet of wind and lightning tempests, the red and silver auras of two beings clashed.
The half-god erupted with divinity, holding nothing back against Arthur, prompting the godslayer to respond in kind.
Anti-Divinity surged from his body and wrapped around his blade, creating an atmosphere of overwhelming pressure that threatened to suffocate all nearby divine beings.
"What is that?!"
The Legendary asked in shock as he slashed forward, infusing wisps of destruction energy into his sword.
"Anti-Divinity. Has a nice ring to it, donât you think?"
Arthurâs calm reply came after, causing a frown to appear on the face of the demigod as he activated a thought acceleration skill and analysed the energy around Arthurâs sword.
âIf the name is anything to go by, then it most likely has the same effects as Anti Magic, but targeted towards Divinity!â
His conjecture was confirmed immediately as his and Arthurâs blades clashed, the energies surrounding them nullifying each other instantly while the force knocked the both of them back a few metres.
Without hesitation, they dashed forward once more, swinging their swords wildly through the air so fast their bodies seemed to blur.
Although they got in a few hits on each other, they were both equipped with defensive tools that their normal energy attacks failed to penetrate.
However, when they began throwing law energies into the mix, things became different.
Even the fabric of Arthurâs clothes that were weaved with the threads of Superior Stage Legendary Arachnes could not withstand the power behind the law of destruction in the half-godâs blade.
âThis guy! Heâs a nonstandard type!â
Arthur remarked instantly as he realised the Legendryâs power was comparable to intermediate stages, with the only reason he was able to keep up being his racial advantages as the demigodâs attacks were less effective on him while his were more effective.
Plus, the latter was wary of being injured by Arthurâs Anti Divinity and destruction law energy which was more potent than his.
He chalked this up to Arthur being the âChild of Destructionâ and didnât question it further, not knowing that the reason for this was simply because Arthur was comprehending the law while he was merely using the ambient energy of it.
Their auras clashed and merged, the residual energy of each clash reverberating and carving deep furrows in the earth below.
Streaks of red and silver light shot higher and higher up into the air before they descend back to the earth.
Arthur flicked his fingers and caused the energy within the five tornadoes to detonate, unleashing a sudden burst of cosmic energy that scattered embers of destruction in directions.
Ignoring this, the boy continued clashing with the Legendary in front of him, the ground trembling beneath their feet under the pressure of their relentless exchange of supersonic slashes.
The air around them shattered as their swords moved with blinding speed while they moved around, leaving sonic booms in their wake with each clash.
With blurry movements, their swords collided and sparked with the intensity of their clash, before they both disappeared and reappeared hundreds of metres away, clashing once more and sending dust and debris into the air.
The demigod unleashed a burst of divinity and attacked, his sword pulsing with lethal intent aiming to end the godslayerâs life.
But Arthur remained undaunted, tilting Celestia and parrying the sword slash, redirecting the blade towards the ground.
**KAABOOMMM!!!!
The power within the blade was so great that merely touching the ground created a massive fissure hundreds of metres in width and depth.
At the same instant, Arthur pulled back his right fist and used the Strength enhancement ability he stole from the Gorilla monster Lucifer killed some time ago.
"HA!"
He threw out a punch, his fist infused with cosmic energy and the essence of the law of Gravity, straight towards the head of the Legendary demigod.
The latter tried to tilt his head out of the way to dodge, but Arthur accelerated his punch with the law of timeâs energy while slowing down the demigodâs body at the same time.
**BAAMMMM!!!
With a resounding impact, the progenitorâs fist wreathed in the power of gravity and time collided with the demigodâs face, the sheer power contained behind it triggering the cosmic energy he infused and igniting a miniature singularity.
A surge of cosmic energy erupted, propelling the demigod through the air like a rag doll, his body twisting and contorting while spraying golden blood everywhere in the air.
However, this was not enough to deal with him as he regained his bearings mid-air and flipped his body, landing on his two feet.
Sadly, his handsome face had been disfigured by Arthurâs attack, and the boyâs racial properties made it so that it would not be healing anytime soon.
"GUH! Law of Gra-??!!"
He could not even call out the word completely when Arthur appeared in front of him, carrying on with his momentum and throwing in another punch.
Silver streaks of energy snaked across his arm, and the demigod realised itâd be dangerous if the anti-divinity-filled arm hit him.
Even so, he could do nothing as Arthur had frozen his body with the law of timeâs power, his eyes widening in shock as he realised Arthur had control over more laws than he expected.
Nevertheless, his other companions werenât just going to sit there and watch him get beat up, as one blitzed in with supersonic speed, reaching where they were and pulling him out of the way.
Simultaneously, another threw out a fist encased in the energy of the law of earth to meet Arthurâs incoming fist.
**KABOOOMM!!!
The two met in a titanic clash, quivering the very ground beneath their feet. The collision of law energies ignited and unleashed a deafening explosion of power, shattering the earth beneath them.
Shockwaves rippled omnidirectionally, splitting rocks and tearing the once-stable terrain asunder.
Dust and debris filled the air as the force of the impact reverberated through the surrounding landscape, leaving a massive crater of nothingness and a trail of destruction in its wake.
Just when the Legendary who was fighting Arthur had recovered from the time stop and was about to speak of the boyâs mastery over the law, he and the one using the power of life to heal him sensed danger and instinctively reacted.
Immediately after, a pillar of crimson-silver light shot through the air, crashing where they were a moment ago with earth-shaking force.
One of them waved his hand and created a gust of wind to blow away the dust, just in time to see another cluster of red energy condensing rapidly in front of Arthurâs mouth.
"Shit!"
He cursed at the last moment upon the realisation that the target of this energy blast, was him.
**BOOM
**CRRRACK!
His defensive shield artifact cracked, with the energy of destruction going on to blast it t pieces a second later, but the demigod had already escaped.
Arthur immediately took to the skies, dodging the spells that threatened to knock him to the ground with lightning-fast movements.
He stretched out his arm and recalled Lostvayne, the sword tearing through the air and through the body of an unfortunate Superior Epic, blasting them to bits before entering his palm.
[Shut up, masterâs not gonna praise you!]
He ignored Celestiaâs voice and swopped in to grab the pseudo-divine spark, tossing it into his inventory as he began chanting a spell.
â11 down. 4 Sparks. Pity the tornadoes didnât kill any of them. I guess the Legendries wouldnât be Legendries if they couldnât at least block that.â
