Chapter 244: Training Spar IV
Lucifer rapidly spun once more to generate more momentum and kicked the side of Arthur’s head in the opposite direction, aiming to finish him off.
However, as if having predicted it, Arthur instinctively moved his right arm to block the kick, before grabbing Lucifer’s leg and pulling him forward.
His left hand shot out and delivered a palm strike to Lucifer’s chest, releasing a concentrated burst of aura in that shot moment of contact that sent Lucifer flying a few metres.
Arthur then shook his head and took the time he bought to reorient himself, before looking up to see Lucifer’s incoming fist once more.
Arthur dodged by ducking to the ground, before using the force to send out a 180-roundhouse kick parallel to the ground, aimed at Lucifer’s feet.
The devil king’s vestige was sent flying off his feet, seconds before Arthur jumped up and delivered a right straight to his head.
Lucifer rose his arms in an ’X’ to block Arthur’s attack, however, he could not help being slammed into the ground with enough force to shatter the earth underneath him, creating a meter-deep crater that spread out over dozens of metres.
Before Arthur could pull his fist and unleash another punch, Lucifer grabbed his hand and flung him over, before getting up and turning to attack.
However, Arthur who now had his back to Lucifer, took advantage of this and delivered a kick to the face while throning 360 degrees.
As Lucifer rose his arms to block, Arthur pulled his legs back and reversed the gravity on his legs, causing them to shoot forward as Arthur delivered two rapid kicks to the side of lucifer’s head.
He then pulled his leg backwards and released the third kick in the opposite direction, causing a look of surprise to momentarily flash in the vestige’s eyes.
Shaking his head, he twisted his leg as the essence of the law of wind coalesced around it, manipulating the flow of Air to become a whirlwind around his legs and arms.
He then threw out jabs which Arthur either blocked or dodged, with the young prince throwing in a few of his own into the mix.
Lucifer suddenly jumped back to gain distance, but Arthur didn’t let him and charged in instantly. However, upon seeing Lucifer’s smile, he realised that charging in was exactly what the vestige wanted him to do.
He suddenly jumped up and performed a spin while coming down with his right foot outstretched. Arthur felt the essence of the law of wind generate a huge wave of aura as Lucifer completed this set of motions in one fluid movement.
He coated his arms in the essence of the law of time and rose them to block the attack, before instantly altering the flow of time.
Lucifer felt a strange feeling spread out through his body, he tried to rouse his energies to disrupt Arthur’s actions but he found that even the process of rousing his energy had been slowed to an incomparable degree.
’He could do this with such a meagre comprehension in the law of time?’
Those were his thoughts as he saw the young progenitor use a footwork technique and move towards Lucifer’s back, before spinning around and channelling the essence of the law of wind around his arm to generate a similar whirlwind, just as Lucifer had done a few seconds ago.
**BAMM!!
The boy’s punch slammed into the defenceless back of lucifer, with the destruction energy in his arm filled to the contained perfectly within it.
As Lucifer’s body was sent flying into the air, he was thinking about what Arthur just did with the law of time and understood that while it felt like Arthur had slowed his own movements, that was not the case.
’His time became faster, huh?
And what’s more, he seems to be using the essences of four laws at the same time, despite not having any comprehension in two of them.
I did propose this so I could see how good his manipulation is but this is more than I had expected.
He’s even taking my techniques and improvising on the, before using them against me.’
He crashed on the ground with a loud boom, causing a cloud of dust and dirt to rise up into the air.
As he lay on the floor and stared at the ceiling, seeing Arthur diving down on him to deliver a punch, he opened his mouth and spoke.
"Level Two."
The moment he said that, Arthur’s expression contorted as he hurriedly spread out his wings and broke his movement.
Quickly compressing wind energy around his feet and using it as a foothold to spring back up into the air.
"Too slow.
You should reduce your gravity when doing this to increase your speed."
He heard Lucifer’s voice from behind him and clucked his tongue as he spun around and delivered a straight jab at the devil king’s vestiges head.
Lucifer, however, casually dodged his jab and grabbed his hand before pulling it down, causing Arthur’s upper body to tilt downwards.
The next instant, Arthur’s face met with Lucifer’s knee, with the force behind the knee kick knocking out a few of his teeth and breaking his nose.
However, his body wasn’t sent flying by the knockback as Lucifer still held his arm, attempting to perform another upward kick to his chin.
**BOOOMM!!!!
Arthur suddenly gathered a huge amount of destructive energy around his palm and forcefully detonated it, causing lucifer to let go of his hand as he charged through the explosion and sent two horizontal kicks at Lucifer’s head in quick succession.
While the first one hit his mark, the second was blocked and Arthur instantly pulled back his leg, before sending out another attack with his fist which Lucifer blocked before retaliating instantly.
It didn’t take long for the duo to begin exchanging a flurry of blows while floating in the air, with each strike releasing shockwaves that spread across the room.
*BAM! BAM!! BAMM!!
While it may look like nothing more than a simple fistfight to the untrained eye, each one of them was actually imbuing each attack with an astronomical amount of destructive energy with each blow.
