Alexia felt the pressure on her soul reduce as the voice chuckled a bit.

Meanwhile, Lucifer who was outside, frowned as he realised the changes Alexia was undergoing. His red eyes flashed as he activated his Aspect of Knowledge, increasing his insight into Alexia’s situation.
This made him realize one big Miscalculation Alexia had made.
’Due to the nature of her power being similar to an Aspect, something more powerful than a law, she ended up messing with something even greater than the law of causality.’

Storm clouds gathered across the sky as golden lightning dropped down from the skies, crashing on the ground with loud explosions.
However, the ground where the lightning touched was unscathed as if nothing ever happened.
The dust of the explosion cleared out and revealed not scorched earth and ashen grounds, but verdant green grasses.
The existences on this planet that had perished due to being unable to withstand the energies released by Alexia, all came back to life as the destroyed planet was slowly reverting itself.
It looked like the time on this planet was being turned back but Lucifer knew this was not the work of the power of time.
"There’s no doubt about it anymore.
Alexia just fucked with a concept."
The moment Lucifer spoke, he released all his limiters and allowed his aura to flare up wildly. The planet beneath him creaked as it could barely stay alive but more lightning dropped to the ground and a strange energy protected it.
The other planets beside it which should not have survived Lucifer’s aura burst were also unscathed as if something was blocking Lucifer’s aura.
’It’s being contained.’
Lucifer observed as he coated his arm in cosmic energy and pierced it into the barrier around Alexia, breaking it with ease as he grabbed onto her physical body.
’Her soul...’
He frowned when he noticed that her soul was barely in her body, as if something had pulled most of it out to somewhere else.
Coating his second arm in cosmic energy, he grabbed onto the small intangible link between her soul and her body and forcefully pulled her soul back into her body.

While Lucifer was grabbing onto her soul, Alexia was floating aimlessly in a never-ending void, her mind completely blank and devoid of all thoughts.
She was experiencing everything and nothing at once, loads of information that would normally cause her soul to collapse but it did not because the information was never complete.

With that, the voice faded back into the void as Alexia’s soul was pulled back into her body.

Alexia opened her eyes to see a dark sky with storm clouds gathering around it and golden lightning striking down from the sky.
The dark clouds parted as a pillar of grey light dropped from the sky, landing on the ground and sending out shockwaves that sent Alexia flying, along with the person carrying her.

As soon as Alexia heard that, she found her body phasing through space and into the pillar of grey light as a hand grabbed her neck in the next second.
It was extremely cold, as if the one who had the hand did not possess blood in their body.
"Guh!!"
The hand grabbing her throat tightened as she tried to break free but to no avail.

Lucifer’s enraged voice boomed out as Alexia felt the hold of the hand on her neck loosen, with her body being pulled back in the next instant.

An explosion rang out as right after Lucifer pulled her back, he sent a cosmic energy-filled punch to the head of the existence that was holding her neck.
The earth beneath his feet crumbled and space shattered like glass as the punch connected, sending the unknown being flying to heaven know where.
"Are you okay?"
Lucifer turned to Alexia and asked as he scanned her body and soul multiple times over to make sure nothing was wrong with her.
"I...*cough* *cough*,..am *cough!!* fine."
Alexia barely managed to mutter a reply as Lucifer finally heaved a sigh of relief.
She looked in the direction where Lucifer had punched the being who was holding her earlier as she asked.
"What..*cough* was that?"
Lucifer was about to give a reply when he suddenly sensed something that made his body’s hair stand on end.
A chill ran down his spine as the being he had punched landed on the ground with his two feet and began walking towards him.
To describe this being on one word, would be grey.
There was nothing more and nothing less.
It was a grey humanoid being that had no features on its body, no eyes, no nose, no mouth, no ears, and no hair.
All the ambient energies in the area dissipated as the featureless humanoid took steps closer to them, all except one.
To be more specific, the area was filled with a superior kind of energy that made all the others ’shrink back in fear’.
Mana, aura, ether, aether, prana, divinity, enigma, demonic power, soul energy, life energy, holy power, death energy, and law essence.
It mattered not as the cosmic energy pouring out of that being’s body forced them all to dissipate.
This featureless humanoid figure walked towards the adoptive father-daughter duo and stopped about ten metres from them.
Its neck turned in Lucifer’s direction and the devil king was sure that even though there were no eyes, he could feel the figure gazing at him.
A thin line appeared on the lower part of where its face was supposed to be, manifesting a mouth as the figure spoke.
