Chapter 234: Alexia’s Decision
Becoming a Monarch Realm existence.
That was the last activation requirement and the one Alexia had almost fulfilled.
Luckily, she had discovered the curse and had chosen the fastest, most dangerous but most efficient way to prevent herself from fulfilling its activation condition.
Sadly, as the process of ascension had already been initiated, it was something that would now happen over time and Alexia would eventually become a monarch realm existence
Thus, if she did not remove the curse on her, it would eventually activate and Alexia would lose control of her body.
As for Roseborn’s goal in casting such a curse, it was naturally so that he could use Alexia to give birth to his next vessel.
It was as simple as that.
The fact that he had placed the curse on her since she was just two years old signified that he was already ready for the possibility of her gaining a backer like Lucifer who would prevent him from getting to her on his own.
If Roseborn were present, he would quote Alexia’s words with a smile on his face.
’His hundred million years weren’t a waste.’
And indeed that was the case, he had grown wise and cautious enough to consider multiple possibilities of his plans failing and had placed various fail safes.
The curse on Alexia, was just one of them.

It didn’t take Lucifer long to discover the true nature of the curse and how it could only be destroyed by completely eliminating the existence of the caster.
The problem was, he didn’t know where Roseborn was.
Even if he razed the entirety of the Vladi Universal supercluster, Lucifer was only 50% sure he would catch the ’true’ Roseborn.
He also considered another possibility, that the ’true’ Roseborn.
’Might not even be in this Multiverse...’
He shook his head and turned to Alexia who was still staring blankly at the sky. There was no light in her eyes and she had remained unresponsive to stimuli for the past few hours.
Lucifer could understand her pain, she had tried to escape the shadow of her father ever since she was old enough to have cognitive thought.
She even had Lucifer kill one of his main bodies, reducing the great Supreme Ruler to less than 30% of what he once was before.
Alexia was sure she had bought enough time to get strong enough to end Roseborn once and for all, she had even formulated a plan to take advantage of her blood connection to him and locate all his bodies.
Only for her to just discover that all her plans were kind of futile since she was dancing in the palm of his hand from the start.
"...If becoming a monarch is what activates the curse, then I have to find a way for her to not become one while dealing the least amount of damage to her soul.
I could also cut out the curse that has latched onto her soul but that is too risky.
My Power of destruction is too dangerous to use for such a delicate process, what can I use?"
"Causality."
"Huh?"
Lucifer let out a voice of surprise as he heard Alexia reply to his words, he turned to the blue-haired woman who got up from the floor while muttering to herself.
"If I break the law of causality, I would end up losing some law comprehensions and having my realm of existence reduced.
Two birds with one stone."
Her newfound idea was to break a law of causality and incur its wrath, securing a reduction of existence realm and law comprehensions.
This way, she would remove two of the curse’s activation conditions.
Becoming a monarch realm existence, and having an Authority in the law of reincarnation.
"It would mess up my plan but if I fall into his clutches then the plan is futile anyway."
She ignored the shocked look on Lucifer’s face as she racked her brain to think of all the things she could possibly do that would be considered offences severe enough for the law of causality to move.
Something, she did not have ’Justification’ for, something that would negatively influence the lives of quintillions of existences, something that she did not have the qualifications to do at her current level of existence.
Her eyes lit up as she arrived at a conclusion almost instantly, making moves to take action in the next moment as Lucifer held her shoulders and forced her feet which had already started levitating back to the ground.
"Where do you think you are going, young lady?"
His eyes and voice were cold, as if he was talking to an existence worth less than a bug to him, making Alexia cuss inwardly for speaking her thoughts out loud.
If anyone who knew and cared about her heard what she planned to do, they would attempt to stop her.
To make matters worse, the one person who did, was someone she considered her adoptive father, someone who she was sure cared about her more than anyone else.
She took a deep breath and tried to calm herself before replying to Lucifer’s question.
Emphasis here; on ’tried’.
"So, um...I thought of a solution. A temporary one, and I was about to execute said solution, nothing more, nothing less."
"Really? That’s all there is? Nothing about messing with causality?"
"Causality? Who said anything about that son of a bitch law?"
Alexia replied to Lucifer with a look of confusion, one that would have made anyone else believe she truly didn’t know what they were talking about.
Sadly, her opponent was Lucifer.
He was someone who had known her for more than half her life, the one person who knew the most about her more than anyone else.
He saw through her ruse instantly.
Cosmic energy coalesced around his hand that was grabbing her shoulder and Alexia instantly realised that she had to take drastic measures.
’I can’t let him interfere!’
The moment she thought that;
**BOOOMM!!!
Her aura exploded and the skies turned dark, blue tendrils of lightning snaked across her arm as an illusory clock manifested behind her.
With glowing eyes, she gazed into Lucifer’s red eyes and voiced out a command.
