Chapter 232: The true Story behind Alexia’s Predicament

"That, is the most useful thing here.

The sword wielded by the original Lucifer Morningstar.,

Rule Breaker: Lostvayne."

Arthur’s eyes widened in shock as he stared at the blade that was stabbed into the ground a few meters away from him.

[Master, cheating.]

He was mesmerized by the blade until a familiar voice that he hadn’t heard in a while resounded in his head.

He looked at the back of his right palm to the small black and gold dot there.

’Celestia?’

[Master is thinking of using another sword, cheating. Hmph!]

Arthur let out a small chuckle as he removed Creusery’s ring before putting on the completed version that Lucifer’s vestige gave him.

He flexed his fingers before slipping his hand into the forearm bracelet, its weight being way too light for something lauded as a cosmic treasure.

"Hmm? You were so scared of holding it a minute ago, now you’re wearing it so easily?"

"Let’s just say I’ve gotten over my shock."

Lucifer’s vestige started at Arthur strangely before shaking his head and walking out of the room.

"Come with me, I still have much to tell you and much to teach you before you can dare to touch that blade.

It’ll devour you otherwise."

Arthur took one last look at the blade while ignoring Celestia’s words before turning around and following Lucifer out of the room.

"There’s also another artifact that you can give to your loved one or girlfriend or whatever. It’s a pair necklace that has the ability to confirm if the person wearing the other one is alive or not.

It also allows them to find their general direction and vice versa.

Ah, there’s also the teleportation ring that warps the user to a random area when in danger, the distance depends on how much energy is put into it."

Lucifer kept on talking about other things that Arthur considered very useful, making the young progenitor heave a sigh of exasperation as he thought about the fact that the former Devil King’s standards of ’useful’ were a bit too high.

"Now, where was I with the stories? I was telling you about my original’s history with Alexia, right?"

"Yup."

"Good.

Then I guess it is okay for me to skip all the very unimportant parts and go straight to how she ended up breaking multiple laws of causality and messing with the concept itself, attracting the attention of one of the Eternals." 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦

Lucifer didn’t even give Arthur time to dwell on his words as he waved his hands and a familiar filmstrip appeared around the two.

On this filmstrip, memories of Lucifer’s time with Alexia began playing, showing Arthur how the Devil King and the Universal Supercluster Princess ended up becoming adopted father and daughter.

◇ ◇ ◇

Alexia and Lucifer’s reign of ’terror’ was one that lasted nearly a dozen millennia, with many candidates of time and destruction falling to their schemes while the two walked the fine line between pissing off the watchers and not.

The princess also never neglected getting stronger as she achieved the superior stage of the High tier deity realm, having multiple high-ranked universal laws comprehended fully with a few monarch-ranked laws under her belt.

Nevertheless, she refused to attempt to enter the monarch realm until she had gained close to 25% comprehension of multiple monarch-ranked laws, preferably all of the laws she possessed.

Lucifer told her that there was no point in doing this but Alexia still persisted in her goal, something that was incredibly difficult as comprehending a monarch-ranked law was far more difficult and time-consuming than that of the high-ranked laws.

Even more so when the existence comprehending them was a high-tier deity and not a monarch realm existence.

It took the princess nearly five thousand years before she finally gave up on achieving this incredibly difficult goal and chose to ascend to the monarch realm.

"Finally!"

Lucifer screamed out when Alexia made her decision of ascending to the monarch realm known to him.

As someone who saw Alexia as his adopted daughter, seeing her incredibly fast progress slow down before eventually stagnating for millennia was something that pained him.

"Why did you even bother in the first place? It was something that you would have been unable to achieve unless you were a singularity or something similar."

"Let’s take your lack of faith in me out of the question, there are existences out there that are similar to singularities?"

Alexia thought about the singularities that she had met over her twenty thousand years of life, one of them being the progenitor of one of the most powerful and influential races in the cosmos.

The notion that there were existences similar to these ’cheats’ was shocking, to say the least.

"Nahh, just kidding."

Lucifer casually waved off her question as he stretched his hand out and tore open a hole in the space before him.

He put his hand inside this hole and fished out five orbs of light, each containing energy comparable to that of high-tier deity realm existences.

"Monarch realm energy cores, five of them. Should be enough for you to into the Monarch realm.

They’ve lost some of their energy but it doesn’t change the rank of their cores."

Alexia stared at the incredible gift Lucifer gave her, shaking her head as she accepted them from him.

"Hmm? Where’s my thank you?"

"Thank you veryyyyy Much."

She rolled her eyes before thanking him with a smile, bursting into laughter afterwards as she saw the satisfied look on his face.

"Good. Now go and begin your breakthrough. I’d protect you so nothing can mess up the process.

They’d have to be an Eternal to get through me."

"Okay."

Alexia laughed as she stepped out of the room before unfurling a single pair of glistening white wings as she took to the skies and flew to the top of a nearby mountain.

"I feel like one of those ’cultivators’ i met in the last universe we went to together."

She spoke to Lucifer who had already warped beside her as she sat on the floor and picked up the first energy core.

"Let’s begin."
