Chapter 110: 110-Brutally Attacked

I had made a lot of plans for that day.
I knew that when Gigi came to see me, there would be anger and hatred in her eyes.
But if Jaguar had told her everything, she might have calmed down a little.
Still, knowing Gigi, I knew it would be enough for her to find out that Ragnar had held a flashlight for me or that I had spent time with him.
Even if all we did was argue, it wouldn’t matter. I knew Gigi with every fiber of my being.
So, after getting ready, I made sure I looked extra cute for her. Just to annoy her, irk her, and get under her skin.
After putting on a brown dress, I slipped a trench coat over it.
As I walked outside, I couldn’t shake the feeling that something was off in the Omega community that day.
Maybe it was because everyone was whispering so much.
But I ignored them.
I went straight to the MC gas station, where Gigi was supposed to meet me.
The weather was starting to turn stormy, and the dust in the air was getting worse.
The Omega community wasn’t very clean, so whenever it rained or a dust storm rolled in, it was the worst.
I had just walked over and taken my place there when I started to feel like something was wrong.
Of course, there weren’t many cars around at that time.
Then again, there rarely were. Cars only passed through once in a while.
People in the Omega community couldn’t afford them.
The gas station stood right on the edge between the Gamma community and the Omega community.
That way, people from the Gamma community could use it whenever they needed fuel.
Anyone visiting the Omega community for sightseeing could stop there as well.
As I stood there with my hands in my pockets, I couldn’t shake the feeling that someone was watching me.
I felt like someone was approaching from behind.
Before I could turn around to see who it was, someone had already come up behind me.
I spun around, but before I could even see the person’s face, a hard fist came into my cheek, sending me crashing to the ground.
After that, it was chaos.
I started crawling away, whimpering in pain, but he grabbed me by the back of my neck and began dragging me away.
"What the fuck? Who are you?" I tried to scream, but my voice came out muffled.
The pain in my cheek was so intense that I felt like I was going to pass out.
He dragged me all the way behind a pillar.
The next thing I knew, this person, wearing a mask and a hoodie, was relentlessly kicking me in the stomach.
I tried to block the blows, but eventually I couldn’t anymore.
Then he wrapped his fingers around my neck and started strangling me.
I tried to scratch him, but it was all in vain.
Then I heard it.
Thunder.
The man suddenly stopped and looked up.
Through my bloodied eyes, I caught a glimpse of his face. I noticed a piercing in his eyebrow.
Then he stepped back and ran as though his life depended on it.
I crawled out, coughing up blood.
That was when a car came to a stop.
I saw Ragnar step out of it.
It was confusing. I had thought Gigi was the one coming, but Ragnar was an even better option.
He was an Alpha King, more powerful than anyone else.
I watched him look at me.
It was the first time I had ever seen him look at someone with so much shock. He looked genuinely stunned.
I raised my hand shakily, silently asking for help, and he ran to me.
I watched his coat fly behind him as he rushed toward me.
He immediately dropped to my side and looked around.
"What the fuck happened here?" he demanded as he grabbed my arm without hesitation and pulled me up.
One of his hands landed on my back while he slid the other beneath my thighs, lifting me into his arms.
I could barely take a deep breath.
"What the fuck happened?" he shouted again as he carried me toward his car.
All I could do was let out weak, dying whimpers.
Once he placed me in the back seat, he jumped into the driver’s seat and sped off.
I heard him dial a number.
"Warrior, I want you to shut down the entire Omega community right fucking now," I heard him scream into the phone.
I was genuinely surprised to hear him show so much emotion all at once, especially that much concern.
However, that feeling quickly faded when he revealed the real reason behind his agitation.
"Find Gigi. I want to know where she is."
The moment he said that, I realized what he was thinking.
He believed this was the work of Gigi’s stalker, and Ragnar was far more worried about her than he was about me.
My eyes began to close, and before I knew it, I passed out.
I was amazed at myself. I was so consumed by the fire of revenge that I was slowly losing my mind.
I didn’t even care about what was happening around me anymore.
But I had always kept two plans. If one failed, the other would surely work.
Halfway to the hospital, Ragnar suddenly stopped the car.
I woke up with a jolt.
He had seen it.
While that man was beating me, he had slipped something into my shirt, tucking it inside my bra.
None of us had noticed it until Ragnar, driving in a hurry, adjusted his rearview mirror and caught sight of the letter poking out through my cleavage.
It was soaked in my blood.
Silence filled the car.
I began to tremble.
Ragnar turned around and reached out for it, but his hand stopped when he realized where the letter had been tucked.
"Read it," I whispered softly.
He reached for it, pulled the letter free, and immediately unfolded it. There was urgency in every movement he made, and I knew why.
We had already arrived at the hospital, but before a stretcher could be brought over, Ragnar read the letter. I watched his eyes darken.
I expected him to jump out and get me a stretcher, but he did nothing of the sort.
Instead, he started the engine again and drove away.
