Chapter 90: 90. Get it out
Raven got to the safe house and found the warriors guarding it dead. He frowned at it, passing through them, he tried not to step on blood and made his way inside to find it empty.
Not a single soul was seen inside, dead or alive, there was no one. He tried mind-linking as many pack members as he could who he knew was inside the safe but none could be reached. He let out a growl and left the safe house with fast strides and made his way back to where the others were.
"There s no one inside the safe house," Raven said and walked over to where Lazarus stood with the alphas. He stopped and stood face-to-face with his alpha.
"Are they dead?" Darren asked. He looked at where Kora was, remembering her saying a lot of people will die and she was not wrong, a lot had died in just one evening and the number of male and female warriors of the Blood Moon pack had greatly been reduced. The number of pack members had also reduced as well. He wondered if the pack will still be as it was before with so many gone.
"No, none was found dead. There was no one inside not even a dead body." Raven answered.
"What do you mean?" Lazarus asked. He was not happy with the news. He did not think that something major could have happened to the people inside there because he does not tell the pack link break from anyone who was inside there.
"There was no one there, alpha," Raven said again, not liking the fact he could not find his mate. "I have to. Link some of the people who were in there but I can not reach anyone of them. Not even Rosie."
"They are safe," Kora said. She moved from one person to the other, touching them to make sure that the spell that prevented the shifter’s healing ability was removed before leaving each person and going to another. Once the spell was removed, the black smoke around the wound would disappear and it would start to heal itself. "Emily and her grandmother led them out to safety and it is far."
"Where?" Lazarus and Raven asked at the same time. They did but know of the secret passage in the safe house.
"Silver moon pack," Kora answered.
They all turned to look at her. Raven’s eyes narrowed at her, he wanted to ask her something but then he stopped himself. It was either she saw it or she knew of the secret passage which they took.
"We should go and get them back," Levi said. They all knew that the Silver Moon pack was no more and leaving defenceless people there was no less than suicide.
"Send warriors to them, they will lead them and protect them on their way back. We need to get to Dana and Ezra, something is wrong." Kora said looking at Lazarus.
"What happened to Dana?" Lazarus asked and walked towards Kora. Darren rushed over and stood beside her as if Lazarus was a threat to her.
"I don’t know but we need to get them now," Kira said and leaned on Darren feeling fatigued all of a sudden. "You should rest now, Kora, you have done a lot tonight," Darren said, holding her chin and made look up at him.
"I will be fine, people will die if I don’t do something about the infected wounds," Kora said leaning her face into his palm. "There are no spell casters here to help remove the spell." Darren gave a nod to her and turned to face Alpha Julio, he asked.
"They wentbtonyiurnoack right? Have a healer and midwives ready, anything is possible." He turned to Kora, "Is that okay by you or is there something else you would like to add?"
Kora shook her head. "No, that is all. But I will go with them." She said and looked at the warriors she had earlier healed and said, "Go and bring them backnherebasbfasya you can, the healers are needed in the pack hospital." She said and move away from Dareem’s arms and walked to stand in front of Lazarus. We need to go now."
Lazarus didn’t need to be told twice to leave and find his mate.
The warriors were sent to the Silver Moon pack to retrieve the pack members led by Levi. While Lazarus got into a car with Kora and Darren while The other alphas got into another car and drive off to Blackstorm pack.

At Blackstorm Pack, Dana was made to lie on a mattress healer walked into the room to check on her. While Ezra stood by the door. He was being very cautious with everything around it letting just anyone inside know the state which Dana was in and that she wouldn’t be able to protect herself if something was to happen.
He watched everything that the healer did with keen eyes letting nothing slip past his sight. If something happens to her, he was sure Lazarus would for sale their friendship and have his separate from his neck.
Just when the healer was about to leave the room, the door opened from the outside and Lazarus stepped inside followed by Kora, Darren and Julio. Seeing the three alpha all in one room, Tue healer niwedbhr head fur to the alpha supreme and then to get alpha hellfire looking at Lazarus and offering him blow too. She didn’t bother looking at Kora as she looked like a little who was fortunate enough to accompany the alphas.
"How is my mate?" Lazarus asked making his way to the bed where Dana lay.
"She is in labour," Kira spoke instead of the healer. he walked closer to Dana and touched her forehead. The healer took offence but Kora paid no heed and continued. " The silver has spread all over her body, it will kill the child, if we don’t get it out now, they will both die. "
"Get it out. " Lazarus said holding his mate’s hand. The spark of the mate bond was dimming, he felt his heart squeeze and his wolf howling in his head.
’Luna supreme, are you sure about this?" Alpha Julio asked when he saw that the healer was about to protest. He did not want his pack to be in Luna’s bad books because of one person’s ignorance.
"Yes, I am sure. She is still alive because she is a hybrid, if she was only a shifter like the rest of us she would have died already." Kora said and Julio looked between her and Dana, finally realizing who it was the vampire wanted. He nearly laughed when he thought of how they had given her wolfsbane just to bring the hybrid out.
