Chapter 74: 74. We won’t allow it

Kora took a few steps and soon her walking was stabilized and she could move freely. After spending some time in her beast skin, she thought it was time to change back to her human skin but she did not know how.

Kora tried to shift back many times but she. She then thought of getting help from someone outside the room but the door was locked. After much consideration, she decided to link Ezra for help. Ezra guy unto the room after three minutes. The first thing that he noticed was Kora’s wolf.

The colour was so different from the rest that it made her stand out in a crowd. He hadn’t seen her wolf yet and Lazarus and Darren did not tell talk about her wolf and no one wanted to ask them about Kora’s so they all waited for her to shift again. "Are you done looking?"

Kora’s voice echoed in his head and he smirked. While she growled and staring fathers at him. "I am in no rush, I think I will stare at you a little more," Ezra said plopping down on a chair inside the room. Kora was so mad at him, if she wasn’t in her beast skin right and was not familiar with it yet, she would have done to him or at least thrown something at him.

Thinking of that, she realized that she could still do something to hurt him. She looked at her claws and then back at him, the corners of her mouth pulled showing her canine which Ezra guess was a smirk. She took a predatory step towards him. Ezra immediately stood up realizing what she was planning to do. "Alright, I will stop staring at you." He said taking a step to the side, away from the cajun she was seated on. "Why did you call me?"

Kora stopped moving whennsjenheardnhis question. "I can’t shift back." She said through the link. She tilted her head to the side and blinked her eyes at him. "What should I do?"

Ezra was quiet for two seconds before he busted out laughing. He laughed so hard that he was holding his stomach. Kora stared at him without looking away until his laughs died down. "Are you done laughing now, Ezra?"

"Yes, I am done," Ezra said and sat back down on the chair. "You don’t know how to shift back?"

"I won’t call you here if I could, now would I?" Kora asked sitting on her butt on the floor. "So how do I shift back?"

"The same way you shifted to your beast form," Ezra spoke.

Kora looked at him, "That’s it?"

"You sound disappointed, did you want it harder?" Ezra asked, crossing his leg over the other. "You can try something else if it works for you."

"Turn around," Kora said to him and he did. Kora then shifted to her human skin and walked over to her closet to pick some clothes to wear.

"I am guessing you also want to ask about something else," Ezra said looking towards the door. "Seeing as you did not kick me out."

"Yes," She replied, rummaging through things, she found some clothes that she liked to wear and took them. "I want to talk about something."

"I am all ears." Said, Ezra. Kora finished wearing her clothes and walked over to where he sat and sat across from him. "What is it?"

Kora was in deep thought as she thought about whether to go ahead and talk to him about what she was while she was conscious or just leave it to herself. "Do you know why the spell casters are looking for me?" She asked finally making up her mind. She was closest to Ezra as he was more willing to talk to her. He was like a big brother to her since she joined, and although he never miss seizing any opportunity to make fun of her and annoy her to pieces, he was still the most free-spirited person in the lack house besides Dana and Rosie and did not feel like talking to them about it.

"You are different, that is why they want you," Ezra said. He did not know why she asked but the question that she asked was an important question that even he does not know the exact answer to it. "I think they want something from you."

"I saw something last night," Kora informed him. Ezra looked at but he did not speak and waited for her to speak. "The spell casters, they kill led everyone." 𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞

"Who did they kill?" Ezra asked. He had a hunch about what she was talking about.

"This pack." She said and looked outside the window. "They came because of the mystic wolves that lived there and they killed everyone. If they wanted something then why did they have to kill them all and even burn the pack along with them?"

"That will not happen to you." Dana’s voice came in through the door before she pushed open the door and walked inside. She then took a seat next to Kora. "We won’t allow it."

"Dana is right," Ezra spoke after Dana. "This isn’t then but now, whatever happened before is in the past, and history won’t repeat itself."

"You don’t know that," Kora said looking between Dana and Ezra. "They attack this pack because of me and they will keep attacking as long as I am here. How are you sure that history won’t repeat itself?"

"Because you are where you should be, where you belong, this is your home," Dana replied. She took hold of Kora’s hand, placing her hands understand above it. "We are here to protect you and we won’t allow it to happen."

"You all knew about it didn’t you?" Kora asked. Farrowing her brows at them. "Sis you tell me?"

"We weren’t supposed to," Ezra said. His pitch-black eyes held guilt in them. "I wanted to tell you but I wasn’t allowed to."

"Why?" Kora asked.

"Do you remember Stella? Emily’s grandmother." Dana asked and Kora nodded her head. "She was the one who told about you and. warned us from telling you what you are."

"How would she know that?" Kita asked farrowing her brows even more. She was they when it happened.

"She was not, but her grandmother was," Dana answered. And Kora nodded her head in understanding.

"If you belong to the Blood Moon pack, he was and your parent in the Silver Moon pack?" Ezra asked.
