Chapter 59: 59. A wolf not a dog
Rosie looked at Raven, eagerly waiting for his response. She could only be hopeful that he understood what she was talking about. It was not like she hated the feeling of it or was it harmful, it was sensual.
"I do feel it too," Raven said and she inwardly breathed in relief that she was not the only one feeling things.
"Is it normal to feel this way?" she asked not realizing how comfortable she was feeling in his presence and dropping her guard against him.
"Yes," Raven said and looked into her eyes, those blue eyes that he has come to love so much. "It’s very normal to feel this way." He said and moved his hand to caress her swollen cheek. "We should get to a hospital for treatment. I don’t like to see you like this."
Rosie shook her head and said, "I won’t be at ease knowing he hasn’t been taken away by the police yet."
As she spoke, Raven watched his lips as they moved and felt kissing and tasting those lips. His thumb trailed from her cheek to her lower lip and caressed it making her shiva at the sensual touch of his thumb against her lip. The simple yet intimate action made her feel weird, and the sparks were not helping at all as they catalyzed whatever he was making her feel. "Don’t worry about him, and let me take care of it for you."
Rosie found herself nodding her head without even knowing she was. "Okay," she said. Remembering what she was asking him before, she asked again. "What does this mean? This spark."
"It means we are one. Destined to be together." Raven answers and she pulled away from his hand. And somewhere inside of her, she missed the touch.
"What do you mean?" she asked with wide eyes.
"There are some things that you are unaware of yet, Rosie, everything will make sense after I explain it to you," Raven said to her in a soft and gentle tone. "What I consider normal, will not be the same for you."
"What are you trying to say?" Rosie asked looking confused.
Raven smiled and tugged a strand of her hair behind her ear, "I’d rather show you instead. It will make more sense to you that way." He looked at her and he could still see doubt and confusion in her eyes. "I will take you somewhere, or perhaps inside your house, where I can show you, and not in the open like this."
Rosie was hesitant at first but she eventually nodded her head he smiled at her but they both turned to look at the house again. After a few more minutes passed the police arrived at the house and Raven got down taking Rosie with him.
They walked back to the house together and stopped when a policeman stop them, Rosie introduced herself to the officer and explain what had happened to him. After getting the necessary information, her father was arrested and taken away for domestic violence and physical abuse.
After the police left, taking David Spears along with them, Rosie offered Raven inside the house and he followed her.
Walking inside, Raven looked around the house. It had simple but homey design which were a tat bit too bright compared to what he likes. But he thought it cute. The living room was messy and he didn’t need a genius to guess why. Though messy, it looked comfortable enough to house someone like e Rosie.
"Come this way." He heard Rosie calling out to him asking him to follow her. He followed her and climbed the stairs to a room that was up in the roof. "I like it here because it quiet and I can see the street from up here." She said and sat on the bed.
Raven looked around the room that was painted pink. The bed and it covers were also pink in colour even the drawers were pink and had a light touch of black to outline the edges. there was body size mirror, a dressing table stood in front of it with her skin care products on it.
Raven couldn’t help but compare this room to his room in the pack house and wondered if Rosie would like it there. Perhaps he should change the colour to brighter one? He thought in his mind. "What do you think?" she asked and pulled a stuffed animal in her arms and hugging it. Surprisingly, it was a wolf, a black wolf that she was hugging.
"Cute." Raven said, still looking around the room. He returned his eyes to her and saw her smiling beautifully and squeezing the stuffed wolf in her arms.
"What did you want to show me?" She asked. She was feeling nervous inside of her having a man inside her room and it was only the two of them inside the house.
"Do you believe there are other creatures other than the humans who exist in the world?" Raven asked wanting to prepare her before she gets too scared if he was to just shift in front of her.
"You mean like ghost?" She asked blinking at him.
Raven chuckled, "Somethigg more realistic that that." He said. She has a confused look on her face.
"What could he more realistic that ghost in existence? Vampires?" She asked and laughed at the end of her words but Raven still looked at her with a serious look. Seeing him not laughing, her laughs died down as well and she looked at him in shock. "Do vampires exist?"
"Yes, those blood suckers exist." Raven said and from his tone, it was obvious that he didn’t like them. "Though personally, I wish I could end their race with own hands."
Rosie didn’t know how react to that. She stared him not knowing what to say. While Raven stood where he was and watched her, taking in every expression that appeared and left her face. "I am not one of them." He said thinking she worried that he was one of those blood sucking creatures.
"Vampires exist?" She asked mostly to herself then to another person. "Then what are you?"
"I will show you." Raven said and move a bit further away from her and took of his jacket. He started to undress in front of her and Rosie became bashful noy knowing what he was doing by taking off his clothes. She looked away from him when he was about to pull down the zipper on his pants. "You can look now."
Rosie turned and did not see anything besides Raven standing there with only a pair boxers on. She blushed even harder seeing him like that. But her blush was quick to disappears when fur started sprouting from his body and hid face started to change it shape.
The transformation was slow making sure that he does not change too suddenly scaring her. Soon Raven was on all fours in his beast form and Rosie’s jaws dropped.
"A dog?!" She said before taking a closer look at animal in from of her, it was too big to be a dog and it also looked different, that was when it clicked on her and her eyes got wider than they already were.
Raven winced when she referred to him as a dog. His beast almost let out a whimper for being called a dog by his mate. "You are a werwwolf!" she exclaimed and placed hand over her mouth.
