Chapter 131: 131. Power of a hybrid witch
From afar, David and his group watched all of that happen with shock at how things were. Everyone bowed to one man! All the respected figures from the many countries that were represented there all bowed before one man as if he was a king. It was like they had stepped into a new world. A world that they knew nothing about and just starting to learn about it.
They wondered if they valued the presidents of their nations as much as they valued that one man and his woman. But they knew it was not so. There was no way their loyalty to those presidents could compare to this. Who was the man, from what they had learned from Hunter, each governor present here was an alpha. A pack leader, but here everyone bowed to one man and woman. David and Jack looked at Hunter.
"I have never seen them before," Hunter said a frown marred on his face. This was the first time he was seeing something like this. It was not as if he had been daring enough to come to a gathering like a thud before but it still surprised him. He thought he had learned more than enough about the shifters but it seems that there was more to learn. "We need to know who they are."
"I think we missed something," Jack said. He has been busy looking around the place, searching the environment wanting to know what kind of place these... Shifters liked to stay and he noticed something that they had missed. They have not been careful enough to not be found or they were already found a long-time ago but no one paid attention to them. Probably because they didn’t think much about them or they were just waiting for what was there were doing to be over.
It was thirty minutes past midnight now and he had noticed some movements from the side not far away from them which made him look around trying to push his eyesight to see through the darkness. On a small hill behind them, he noticed the people standing there. He could not make what they looked like but he could guess that they were not there for the occasion just like everyone else.
"What is it?" David asked both he and Hunter also looked around trying to see through the darkness of the night. Hunter stepped into a darker part of where they stood and wore some night vision goggles. When he saw that they were not alone he pulled it off.
"We have to leave now, or we would be e caught in the crossfire." He said putting the goggles back in his backpack.

Over at where the vampires stood,
Dmitri watched as everything unfolded With Cillia standing beside him and Leroy a foot behind them and everyone else fell behind Leroy. More witches had arrived and joined them waiting for the orders of the coven leader.
"How do you intend to get the girl now? It is obvious now that all the shifters would be out to protect her." Cillia asked because she knew that the vampire beside her had some plan of his own that he had refused to share with anyone.
"I won’t," Dmitri replied with his eyes trained at the distance. "They will think of a way, Leroy said so."
Cillia raised a brow at him but did not speak. Whatever his plane was she knew it was far from what he was telling her now.
Dmitri looked at Leroy who bowed and said, "They are all in place, My Lord."
"Have them attack now," he ordered.
Leroy nodded and turned to face shifters and vampires who were with them and some of them left the hillside to relay the order and join in the planned attack.
"We should join them this time Dmitri, your people might want to see you in action after hearing so much about you for so long," Cillia said as she gave a hand gesture to her witches. Five of them disappeared and appeared in different locations adding extra help to the vampires or rogues that had gone ahead of them.
They started to walk down the hill heading to where the shifters were as if taking a walk in the Park.

Over at where the ceremony was taking place,
It was not unexpected when there was a sudden rogue attack that was followed by the Abominations. It was an anticipated attack and the necessary measures were put in place to protect the people inside while the warriors that had come to Ghora on Darren’s order kept them at bay until everything insIt de was concluded.
The sound of growls and snarls of beasts and the stench of the Abomination did not take long to reach the people inside and alert them of the danger that has come to them. Each person stood and prepared for the battle that was about to ensue, all that was left were the words of the Alpha Supreme and they would leave to do the needful.
Over at the top of the platform, Darren held Kora, reluctant to let her go but he knew he had to. He stared into her eyes and she stared into his. "We have to go." He said to her. He turned to look in the direction where he heard the most noise, he heard them long before anyone else could hear them and gave the orders to the warriors that he had placed to intercept them. "They are many."
"I know," Kora said with a nod. "I will stay in touch through the mind link." She said but Darren shook his head in refusal.
"We go together." He said and took hold of her hand. The supreme beta and gamma came to stand beside them as they face the crowd of shifters. Emily held Kora’s other arm to let her friend know that she was with her. "I believe you all expected and anticipated this attack," Darren spoke, his voice overlapping the noises made in the background. "I would say I wish luck but I don’t believe in that sh*t. Fight for the survival of our race and defend your pride as shifters. As Alphas, Lunas, and warriors of your packs. Fight to live."
With that, he stepped down with Kora. When the dress that she won’t be a burden to walk on she ripped it from her knees down to allow her to move freely without having to pick up the dress before taking a step.
Leo Left with Lucy and Logan with Lucinda both going in different directions. They needed to be in different places so they could report what was happening there to the Alpha. They led two different teams of Alphas and warriors While the others went ahead to fight knowing that someone from the supreme Alpha would be coming to lead them too.
Darren and Kora were met by the members of the Blood Moon pack. Dana had her baby in her arms as she made her way to Darren and Kora. "Tell him I want to stay fight," she said too and pointed her finger at Lazarus who did not seem pleased with what she had said. "Aziel will be with Rosie along with the pack’s children in the underground safe house."
She then walked over to Rosie who stood with two warriors one from the Blood Moon Pack and the other from the Shadow Moon Pack waiting to take her to the safe house. "Take him and go. I will be fine." She said. Rosie gave her a nod and turned to leave. She walked between the warriors with one in front and the other behind.
Kora looked at Lazarus and she gave him a nod and that was all the reassurance that he needed to let it go. "Emily goes with them and makes sure everyone is inside and safe," Kora said. Emily was not used to a full bore battle like what was about to take place but she would handle a few rogues on her own and so was better to be with the children. And her presence as the gamma female would serve as an extra assurance for the safety of the women and children who could not fight for themselves.
Immediately after Emily left, the group headed outside where it was all chaos. The Abominations had drawn near almost reaching the building where they were.
Without much delay, Darrrnnand Lazarus shifted to the beast skins. Among all that were present, the members of The Blood Moon Pack on a higher disadvantage because, unlike the others, they didn’t share the same link with Darren and Kora and Lazarus had to communicate with his people alone and guide them, while the others had one general link which was the supreme Alpha and Luna.
["Leave and lead the packs."] Darren said through the link to Levi and Mateo.
["Alpha,"] Mateo called but Darren was in no mood to hear him oppose.
"["Leave now."] He ordered and They both shifted and headed in different directions.
Darren lunged the first attack followed by Lazarus. Their presence there had brought in more Abominations than rogues as they seem to be attracted to the stronger foes and brainlessly attack them. While the rogues could think for themselves and knew not to mess some certain people unless necessary.
Raven and Ezra shifted and joined the fight while Kora and Dana made use of their abilities to help without shifting.
Dana’s purple aura surrounded her body seeping from her eyes. She summoned balls of purple fire and blasted the Abominations that came her way either killing them immediately or paralyzing them momentarily before killing them with another strike. She didn’t have to hold back as she did during the attack on her pack. This time, she could go all out without worrying about what will happen to anyone. She had decided to use this opportunity to give good payback for what they did to her back then.
Dana’s display of power shocked everyone around who saw her because they had never expected that from a shifter. Every spell that she cast was more powerful than the other and the purple aura around her got thicker and larger forming a dome around her.
Whoever got near was either thrown back or killed. This made every other person keep some distance between her and them. What was happening or what she was doing, was food on the side of the shifters because she easily kill the Abominations that they found hard to kill.
The dome around her had frown tentacles that stretched out grabbing whoever she considered a foe. Sparks of lightning could be seen in the tentacles and we’re growing along with the tentacles.
This was new even to Lazarus and his beta and gamma but they also knew that Dana had never had the support to go all out and they never knew how powerful she truly was. For her to be that strong for a hybrid, it meant whoever her witch parent was had to be powerful for her to inherit that much power.
Lazarus stepped back walking towards her, he tried to reach her through the mind link but something was blocking him from reaching her and he thought it t be the dome. He did want her to get exhausted. It was too soon for anyone to get tired out because they would prove vulnerable and easy prey.
The dome opened to let him in and Lazarus walked in in his book beast form and stood in front of her. Her eyes looked different with purple as the only colour that could be seen. She seems in a trance but her attacks never missed their target. ["Dana."] He called her through the Link.
She turned her head as if looking at him and he was glad that she could hear him. ["You will exhaust yourself."] He said. Dana blinked and the color of her eyes started returning but the dome still stood.
