Chapter 130: 130. The Luna Supreme
The venue of the ceremony was a mansion away from the Shadiw moon pack. The decorations and everything were of a white theme. The lights were brightly lit when they arrived. The place was already full of different packs who have come to see the Luna supreme. Wanting to know what kind of woman was named their alpha.
Rosie and Dana admired the place with pride knowing whom all of that was for. While Emily, Lucy, and Lucinda admired their hard work. Leaving the cars they walked inside taking the back door to make sure no sees Kora before midnight. To make sure of that, a spell was used to make it look like she was not even with them.
The people continued pouring in one after the other until the place was filled with familiar and unfamiliar faces. Alphas and Lunas of all packs had arrived leaving their packs under their betas and gamma or the warriors. Even some uninvited guests have found their way into the sea of people mingling with them and trying to not get noticed.
The seats were all set and ready and the platform was raised in front of everyone. The seat had started getting full as the hours draw near to midnight. The elders from packs had arrived and were already seated in their designated seats waiting for the most awaited moment.
The clock struck 10:30 pm and everyone was already in their seats waiting. From afar David Spears stepped down from a car with two other men, Jack and another man who was red-haired and green-eyed. He looks harmless in appearance but had a menacing aura around him. He was Hunter the man who Jack was asked to find.
"There are so many people here," Jack said. Unlike David, he did not have anything against the shifters, he was just there for the fun and thrill of it. He looked at the man whom he was asked to find and a smile appeared on his face. "Do you think there are any humans here?" he asked.
"Yes, us." He said. His eyes strained in the sea of people humbly sitting and waiting for what he was not sure of. The number of dignities that had entered there was more than what they had expected. Governors and important members from different countries were all gathered there though he was not who they were exactly, he had some of their cars and recognized them to be government officials within the country and beyond.
"Do you know what they are?" David asked. He had not that much to engage in a conversation about this before. He was found less than forty-two hours ago and they had been trying to convince him that they know what he was looking for and searching this place.
"Wolves." He said and David gave him a blank look while Jack raised a brow. "And vampires."
"Wolves and vampires?" Jack asked. It made sense to him after thinking about it deeper. Why there was another word pack in the name of some of the cities he had found? Only a wolf pack would use the word to describe their place of residence.
"Yes, but they don’t get along well," Hunter said. "Stay downwind so they don’t pick up your scent." He warned them not knowing that they have already been spotted by the three different creatures present there.
Away from them at the top of a hill, stood Captain Leroy with a group of rogue shifters and vampires standing humbly before a dark-haired man who stood in front of them with a face that was as blank as an empty canvas. His eyes were bright red showing his displeasure at his surroundings. He looked completely out of place dressed in all black and a cape with a red undertone swaying behind in the direction of the wind.
Collins and Sebastian also stood among the I guess and looked at the vampire before them. They have heard that he was one of the oldest creatures alive at the moment, though he was a vampire, they had expected him to look a bit older than a man who had clocked 25yrs. They stared at Lord Dmitri who looked even younger than them and didn’t know what to think.
Sebastian who had wanted to meet him in person didn’t seem to have the courage to walk up to him. The air around the man was spine-chilling. It gave a death warning to all around him. And for the first time, he found himself fearful for his life. He glanced at Collins who looked more composed than he did and took a deep breath not wanting to draw unnecessary attention to himself.
"Leroy," Dmitri called. Leroy came to stand in front of him with his head bowed. "Why do I smell humans?"
The captain stiffened for a few seconds before he spoke. "I don’t know, My Lord." He said and receive a penetrating haze from the man. "I will look into it." He said. He raised him to meet his gaze for a second before looking at the ground beneath him once again.
"I am surprised to see you here, Dmitri," Cillia said appearing right beside the vampire. She placed her hand on his shoulder as if resting from tiredness.
"Didn’t you ask me to come, Cillia?" He asked her. The way they spoke was so casual and the fact that he did not swat her hand away surprised the people standing g behind them. The man whom they were afraid to approach was being so casual with the head coven witch. "But you are the one who came late." He looked over his shoulder and lightly glared at her.
"Don’t look at me like," Cillia said, annoyance forming on her face. "I was busy, I had work to do before coming here." She said glaring back at him once againeavingyhe people behind them were speechless. "Did you notice anything new?"
"There are humans here," He stated looking in a certain direction where the humans were. "Did you know about this?"
"No," She replied with a frown. "This is a new occurrence." She said and turned to look behind her where a witch appeared j immediately. "Get me answers." She ordered and the witch disappeared like she was never there.

The time went by with each tick-and-tock sound of the clock, it drew nearer to the hour that they have waited and come for. When the clock struck 11:55 pm, The elders moved to the raised platform and so did the supreme beta and gamma.
Upon the arrival of the supreme beta and gamma, all the betas and gamma seated beneath them stood to give a bow to their superiors.
After some introduction by the elders, Darren came up to the platform, and everyone present, starting from the alphas to the omegas, all stood and bowed and seating when they were permitted to do so by the supreme Alpha.
"We would like to invite the luna out here with your permission, Alpha," Agatha said coming to stand in front of Darren.
"Go on ahead," Darren said and the woman smiled and nodded.
"Thank you Alpha," She said and turned took at where Leo and Logan stood next to the door. They looked at Darren as if seeking permission before opening the door.
Inside, Kora stood holding the arm of Lazarus they’re were engaged in a conversation when she saw Mateo and Ezra standing over the two dead bodies. They both knew that they wouldn’t kill someone and stand to stare at the person for no reason. There had to be something that had made to look and stare at the dead bodies which they were still unable to figure out.
Their conversation came to a stop when the door opened and Lucy and Lucinda came in to get them. Lazarus who was also wearing white led Kora to the door that led to the raised platform.
Stepping out of the door gasps were heard from everyone present there, some for the fact that they did not expect her to look for tonight especially after meeting her and knowing what She was like. She looked dainty and sophisticated. While those who haven’t seen her or heard that she is closely related to the Alpha of the Blood Moon Pack gawked at her and at how young she was.
Lazarus led her to the middle of the podium where Darren stood. He gave a nod to him and Darren responded with a nod of his own. He then turned to Kora and smiled while patting her hand before giving it to Darren who led her forward to stand between the beta and gamma with Emily standing beside her mate.
The procedures began with the Elders giving a speech telling them what was about to happen as the place went unto a pin-drop silence with inky the voice of the speaker and the rhythmic heartbeats of all that were present.
After the long speech was over, Agatha then turned to face the Alpha and Luna. "It is time, Alpha." She said and looked between Darren and Kora. "Are you ready to become the Luna supreme, Luna Kora of the Shadow Moon pack?" She asked
"Yes," Kora replied and she nodded.
"Please mark your mate and our Luna, Alpha." She said.
Darren stared into Kora’s eyes for a moment before his hands reach for her neck. Tearing off the piece of fabric that was in her neck area, he left her neck open and bare. He felt his beast stump around in his head eager to mark their mate and she couldn’t agree more. He had itched to do so for a long but was forced to wait until tonight. His eyes turned red as his beast came forward.
Learning in her neck, his fangs elongated and pierced through the delicate skin of her neck and tore the flesh under it. He pulled out after two seconds of complete penetration. Her blood smeared on his lips which he licked and then licked the blood on her skin but there was nothing that could be done to the blood that had found its way to the dress and stained it red.
"Are you hurt?" He asked her in a whisper staring into the now glowing eyes of Gaia. Kora shook her head slowly and he nods.
"Luna, if you may, please mark your mate the Alpha," Agatha said again. Everyone was silently watching this happen. Every shifter usually marked their mates while mating but it seems it was different for the supreme alpha Luna.
Kora undid the buttons of Darren’s shirt enough to pull apart the collar of his shirt to expose his neck, the tattoos on his neck peeked out, the black ink contrasting with the white fabric of his clothes. Making him bend to her height, she sank her fangs into his neck, tasting his blood in the process. She then lucked the blood on his skin and her lips before taking a step away from him.
Suddenly she targeted backward and held her head as she felt her previous pack link break and another forming with Darren’s pack. Darren held her around her waist to make sure that she does not trip on her dress and falls. He understood what was happening and he knew it was painful to feel a link break and another forming at the same time.
After two minutes, she was alright and standing tall once again. ["How do you feel."] Darren asked her through the mind link that had just formed, happy to finally be able to link with her.
Hearing his voice in her head, Kora smiled. ["I feel just fine."] She replied.
"It is done," Agatha said. She then turned to face the crowd. "I give you, your Luna supreme." She said in a loud voice. Everyone stood and clapped. The sound of their claps could be heard from afar at how many they were slapping at the same time. "Hail the Luna supreme! " She said and then repeated after her. "Hail Luna Kora!" she said again and they repeated after once more.
Darren led Kora to the edge of the platform. One of his hands was around her waist and the other held her hand in front of him. Looking down at the people he said in a firm, commanding, and demanding tone, "Bow to your Luna,"
"Luna Kora!" They said and bowed at the same time.
