Chapter 129: 129. It is time
Kora sat in front of the mirror as directed by the stylist while Emily and Lucinda sat away from her getting their hair and makeup done.
Everything was going smoothly until the hairstylist picked up the scissors. Before it could go near Kora’s hair, her hand was stopped midway by a bodyguard who moved faster than her hand could reach the hair.
The hairstylist’s eyes went wide as saucers at the sudden intrusion, she was about to complain when Kora spoke color for the first time since entering the salon. "Cut my hair, I cut your fingers." She said glaring at the stylists through the reflection in the mirror.
The stylist with the scissors shuddered at the coldness of her voice and her piercing gaze. She was now glad that they had stopped her in time before she could make a mistake that she would have regretted terribly.
The sound of Kora’s voice draws the attention of everyone in the salon who were only the salon’s employees and the customers of Kora and her group. Emily and Lucinda had a worried on their faces while the rest were left in shock because they thought she could not speak.
"I am sorry, ma’am." the blonde-haired and brown eye stylist hurriedly apologized and threw the scissors into the drawers. Although the chosen style needed her hair to be cut at the front, she decided to make do without it.
"Whatever you do, don’t cut her hair," Lucinda warned. She has seen what Kora could do and the roll of her hair. They would know what will happen once it was cut.
"Understood." The stylist said hurriedly.
["Are you okay, Kora?"] one of the guards who had come with her from the Blood Moon pack asked. He was the one who had stopped the stylist from cutting her
["I am fine."] Kora replied to the mind link. The guard gave her a nod and stepped back to the side.
Their time in the salon went in with Kora rejecting many things and rejecting almost everything leaving those attending to her frustrated. After many hours had passed, her makeup and hair were exquisitely fone and she was to change into her white and gold dress that accentuate her curves and covered her feet even after wearing the six-inch heels. There was a gold belt around her waist.
Emily and Lucinda did the same changing their clothes to white as required for the occasion. There was little difference in their outfits. Lucinda wore a plain white dress without any color added to it while Emily had a plain white knee-length dress with a blue belt around her waist to complete the look of the gamma female.
Tonight was just for the marking of the Luna Supreme. Emily didn’t need a marking ceremony as she had already been mated and marked by her mate and her position as the supreme gamma lady was sealed.
"You look great." Emily praised the whole Lucinda walked around her to see if there was anything that needed adjustment. "Don’t you like what you see?"
"It is okay," Kora said and Emily beamed. That was the highest compliment that Kora could give to an outfit. Everyone blinked at her response except for those that already knew her. She was dressed so expensively and she said it was just okay.
"I know," Emily said. "I trust my sense of fashion." She shamelessly said and looked at Lucinda. "What are you looking for?"
She stops turning round and looked at the mirror where they reflected, her eyes were still on Kora. "I just want to make sure that there is nitjingnin the wrong place, I won’t take any chances tonight."
"Nothing is wrong with the dress," Kora said and Lucinda finally relaxed. They e could not trust Kora’s fashion sense but they could all trust her sixth sense, it was always spot on.
They left the salon like having everyone wonderimhnwho they were and where they came from. From the way they were dressed and how they carried themselves, especially Kora who was dressed and adorned in expensive clothes and accessories, they were from a wealthy environment.

In The Blood Moon Pack
Dana was dressed and ready to leave for the Shadow Moon Pack, she walks out of the pack house with Aziel in her arms and a bright smile on her face, happy to see Kora for the first time since she left the pack.
Rosie and Raven were walking behind her. For the first time, Raven wore a completely white outfit without a dull color added to it. while Ezra and Lazarus were already outside waiting for her by the car. They had to leave early as it would take a few hours of travel before reaching the Shadow Moon pack.
"You seem happy, Luna," Ezra said as she got closer to them. He knew why she was that happy but still chose to say it.
"I am," Dana said her smile even brighter. "It’s been so long since I last saw her," She said even though it has been half ain’t yet. "I wonder how she would look tonight"
"I am sure she would look as beautiful as always," Rosie said from behind her. She walked over and took the many from her and gave a small bow to Lazarus who stood not far from them.
Ezra rolled his eyes at Rosie’s words though he had to agree that Kora was beautiful he would not say such things out loud.
"Alpha," Raven said as he walked over to where Lazarus stood.
["Any news?"] Lazarus asked through the link where only three of them could hear.
["I think they might be at the ceremony"] Raven replied and Lazarus drowned. A lot of things would go down and somewhere in him, he wanted to keep his mate and child away for safety but he knew how important her presence there would mean for Kora. And it would seem odd if the woman who raised her did not attend and Dana seem so excitedly and eager to go that he could not see himself asking her to stay back.
["Be prepared for anything."] Lazarus warned and ended the link. He turned to look in the direction of the Shadow Moon Pack and prayed that nothing should happen to Kora on this special day and ever.
Walking over to Dana, he kissed her forehead. "Are you ready?" He asked and she nodded her head excitedly. Let’s go if we went t make it in time." He opened the door and walked to the time side where the door was held open for him by Ezra.
Ezra sat next to the driver while Ravem and Rosie used a different car. There were a total of four cars that left the Blood Moon pack with one completely occupied by warriors, and the other by Emily’s family.
After many hours of driving, they arrived at the Shadow Moon pack and were directed to the Alpha’s mansion where they waited a few minutes before Kora and Emily came back from the salon and received them.
Seeing Kora all dressed and looking chic and sophisticated made them smile while Ezra’s mouth hung open as he asked at her. Ignoring everyone else for a moment, Kora walked over to Lazarus and Dana and gave them both a hug. She had missed them, especially Dana’s nagging and warm personality." I am glad that you came." Kora said now standing in front of them.
"I am glad that we came," Dana said. She looked Kora up and down, "I would have missed seeing you looking so beautiful like this." She said and this time Kora smiled back at her. "You look beautiful." She complimented
"How have you been?" Lazarus asked. He looked at the girl in front of him and felt pride. She was about to take a huge responsibility upon her shoulder yet she was so calm and collected like she had experienced all that there was in the world and nothing could surprise her again.
"I am fine, father." Kora replied but a frown appeared on her face, "You are worried." she stated.
"I am sorry for that, but I feel like a lot will go down today," Lazarus replied accepting her statement.
"I know," Kora said. She remembered her vision and turned to look at Ezra who was smiling and talking to Emily and Rosie while Raven stood next to them with a poker face. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath before walking over to them.
"Did you miss me?" Ezra asked before she could even say a thing to anyone. Nora chuckled fir to the first time at something that he said making everyone raise a brow at her. "Can I get a hug too?"
"You will ruin the outfit," Emily said coming between them.
"It’s almost time and we wouldn’t want a crumpled-up dressed on her," Lucinda said. She then left the family there and went in search of her sister.
Kora and Emily spent some more time with them, greeting Raven without annoying each other and hugging Rosie which made Ezra grumble under his breath. While Emily left to be with her parents after paying her respect to her former Alpha and Luna.
Lucinda returned with Lucy beside he dressed in the same manner as her telling them that was time.
