Chapter 122: 122. Kill them both
At the Blood Moon Pack.
Ezra had just arrived when he heard Raven on the phone with someone and a big frown on his face. He walked over to him and stood a few feet away to give him some space to finish up and end the call.
"How the f*Ck did they get so close and you failed to notice that?" Raven yelled in annoyance. This was something that made Ezra even more curious to know what was going on because it was all the time that you get to see an angry and yelling Raven. Whatever was it had to be something serious to have had him thus riled up to the point of yelling.
Raven was always composed even though he always had grown in his face and seemed annoyed by the presence and existence of other people. He could hold his anger and tine it down to the point that you wouldn’t be able to tell if he was mad or not.
After hearing what was said on the other side of the phone, Raven angrily disconnected the phone without responding or replying to it. He slipped the phone into his pocket and turned to face Ezra. "When did you return?" he asked shaking the hand of Exra that was stretched to him.
"Right now," Ezra replied. "What happened? You look stressed which is rare." He pointed out.
"We need to talk," Racemnsaid in a serious tone that worried Ezra. He was only going for a day and sometjimgajit had happened to have Raven this worried. "Let’s get Alpha, he needs to know too."
With that, they both talked about the lack and headed for the Alpha’s office. Reaching there thru knocking and entering When permitted to do so.
Lazarus who was going through some documents raised his head to look at them as they strode in and sat in front of him. "Alpha," Ezra greeted while sitting.
"Welcome back," Lazarus replied. "How is she?" he asked. He didn’t need to specify for Ezra to know wjonje was talking about.
"Kora is doing well," Ezra replied with a small smile. " She sent her regards to you and Luna," He turned to look at Raven, "And you too." Lazarus gave a nod. He knew he should not worry about her because she was not any other person, she was Koro and Kora was not weak but he could not help it. She was a danger magnet and being away from him and the pack left him a bit restless.
"What is it, Raven?" Lazarus asked seeing his beta look disturbed about something. "Is Mr. Spears?"
"Yes, Alpha, it’s about him," Raven answered truthfully. He knew he could not keep what was happening away especially not from the two people sitting with him right now. Lazarus and Ezra were the only ones he could count on at times like this and he was sorry to be partly responsible for what was happening.
He doesn’t regret having Rosie as his mate but he is guilty because he did not keep a close eye on the man who was supposed to be her father and he did not know what he was capable of and now, the pack and all of their kind were about to exposed to the human race. "I think he knows a bit too much," Raven said feeling remorseful.
"What do you mean, he knows a bit too much? He just got out." Lazarus asked with knitted brows. He did not like where this was going at all.
"He asked people to follow Rosie all these years and report to him and now they have found the pack house. I get a report that a few days ago someone was enquiring about the pack even though all humans know this to be Moon City." Raven explained.
"You think it was him?" Ezra asked and Taven nodded.
"The same was seen this morning with him at a cafe and it seems our pack is not the only one he has spotted," Raven said and the other two men looked at him in deep thought.
"What do we do Alpha?" Ezra asked. This would get serious if more humans were to find out and they had no idea how many humans are aware of this. "We can’t let this go on like this."
"Kill them both." Lazarus started in a no-room-fit negotiations kind of tone. "Fund out how many more k ow about this." He turned to Ezra, "Call Supreme gamma Levi and tell him to inform the Aloha supreme. This isn’t just our pack that is involved, he needs to get involved as well as the supreme leader."
"What about Rosie?" Ezra asked because Ravem looked complicated right now and didn’t seem to know what to do. "This is her father we are talking about."
Lazarus looked at Raven and said, "Talk to your mate, she needs to come to terms with the things happening here." Lazarus stood up and left the room. He needed to be with his mate at the moment. Everything was not flung according to plan anymore.
Reaching his bedroom he found Dana holding Aziel. He hugged her from behind and rested his chin on her head. "Lazarus," Dana called not understanding why he was suddenly so emotional.
"Mhm," Lazarus answered. "I love you,’ He said, "both of you, always." He said and sniffed her hair. He carried her in his arms while she carried Aziel. "We need to talk Dana."
"What is going on, Lazarus? You are acting strange." She said.
Lazarus let her down in the bed and sat beside her. "A lot of things will change soon, Dana. I want tobykubleave when say so. I can’t take any risks with you and our child." Lazarus said.
"What is going on?" Dana asked still not able to understand what he meant. You are scaring me, Lazarus."
"I think we will be involved with the humans soon and things will start to get messy," Lazarus said. Dana didn’t have more explanation to know what will happen once that happens.
"Okay, but promise me you will be okay." She said placing Aziel on the bed and turning to face him fully. Her hand held his cheek and caressed it. "Promise that you will be okay for us."
"I will try to be," Lazarus said. That was not what she had asked for but it was better than nothing. At least he will try and she could hold on to that.

Shadow Moon Pack,
Levi stared at the woman in his arms, she was tired and he knew it was his doing. He had exhausted her and now she was sleeping it off. His mark on her neck was still fresh and he knew it would be painful. Thankfully she was a shifter and it will quickly before morning with the help of her healing ability. His fingers grazed the spot and it felt tender under his touch. His other hand moved to his neck and touched where she had marked him to and a smile formed at the corner of his lips.
His attention was withdrawn from her when the phone beside the bed started to vibrate and the screen flashed. It continued to ring until Levi get annoyed and picked it up wajtingbti woke the sleeping Emily.m He frowned when he saw Ezra’s flashing on the screen. He wondered if Ezra was out of his mind to call him in the middle of the night.
He slide his thumb on the answer button and placed the phone in his ear, "Sid you miss the pack so much that you have decided to call me in the middle of the night to ask about it?" Levi asked a bit annoyed by the call.
Ezra listened to his sarcasm and did not reply. If it was not on account of something serious he would have replied with even more sarcasm. "No. But I need to get in touch with your Alpha." Ezra replied in a serious tone.
Nearing the seriousness in his tone, Levi sat upright keeping Emily in a way that she would not wake up. "What happened?" He asked in seriousness this time.
"It’s a human problem, we need to warn the other packs to be careful with their movements and activities from now on. Some humans have spotted us and they’re digging more into it." Ezra informed.
"Sh*t," Levi cursed running his hand through his hair. How did that even happen?" He almost yelled but remembered that there was a sleeping woman next to him.
"Let your alpha know," Ezra said without answering the question." My Alpha wants to.l meet with him and discuss this. Let me know when he is will be ready I can tell my alpha."
"Darren and I are friends but he would mind tearing his head off if I barge into his house right now. It’s the middle of the night for f*ck sake, Ezra."
"Link him," Ezra said decisively. "The sooner we deal with this the better." He said again and heard Levi curse out one more time." I will leave you to handle it." He disconnected the call and Levi threw the phone away in frustration.
