Chapter 112: 112. We will miss you
Emily said that looking straight at her mother as if challenging her to do something. Scarlett glared at her daughter but, there was nothing that she could do. There were two alphas in here and they have heard her reply. Even her mate and mother-in-law were on her side. If she was to object to it right now, she would look unreasonable.
"Gamma Levi, do you accept or reject Emily Paw of the Blood Moon pack?" Lazarus played the question to Levi who after no time answered.
"I accept Emily Paw of the Blood Moon Pack." He replied with a serious expression on his face.
Lazarus and Darren nodded their heads. It is settled then." Darren said he looked at Emily’s parents. "No one has the right to come between them. It is okay to worry about your daughter but don’t try to separate them because you are her parents."
"Understood Alpha supreme." James, Emily’s father said with a small bow of the head.
"Thanks, Dad," Emily said with a bright smile on her face. She looked at her her grgrandmoyjerhe woman smiled at her with a nod. Emily knew she could count on her grandmother and the woman did but fail her.
"Since all that should be taken care has been taken care of, get ready, we are leaving this noon," Darren said. Standing up, he offered his hand to Kora.
"You are leaving now?’ Scarlett asked. Looking at Emily. Emily did not know that they were having it immediately as it was almost noon and there was barely any time to pack. She looked at Levi and she could tell that he too did but know they were leaving so soon. Looking at her mother, Emily did not know what to say and there was no to say. Was leaving when it was so obvious that. She could not stay behind while her mate returns to his pack.
"Ezra will accompany you to the Shadow Moon pack with two warriors. He will return while they state there with you." Lazarus said to Kora.
"I will help you lack up," Dana said standing up from her seat. "I want to spend some more time with you before you leave."
"I will come too," Rosie said and left Raven’s side following Kora to her room.
"You are not planning on accompanying us are you Alpha Darren?" Dana asked eyeing Darren who did not bother to stop even after they said they were going to help her with packing her stuff.
Darren. Glanced at Kora who gave him a mid and he stepped aside allowing the woman to go with her.
"Emily left with her mother to pick up some clothes that were at her parents’ because those in the pack house wouldn’t be enough. Leaving only the men and Stella behind.
Darren. Looked at Stella with interest. Her aged eyes spoke of wisdom and knowledge accumulated from years of experience and she was probably the oldest shifter in the pack. She would make a great and useful elder if only she belong to his pac, too bad he couldn’t recruit her. Lazarus was lucky to have someone like her.
Inside Kora’s room, Kor had pulled out a suite case and they have started folding clothes and dropping inside. Dana was inside the closet picking out what she thought would be useful to Kora which were mostly things that she would have left behind. Dana picked up one of Kora’s unused dresses and dumbed them inside the suite case. While Rosie went to get her shoes and accessories.
Kora just stood at the side and watched them pile up her almost full case but they didn’t seem to want to stop any time soon.
"We will miss you, Kora," Rosue said. She pulled out another suite case from the closet and arranged her accessories inside.
"You can survive without me," Kora said and walked forward to stop her from putting more stuff in there that she may never use.
"I remember when you were still a little kid. I will miss your cute little whiney voice." Dana said to her.
"You have Aziel to whine for you. He is still Little." Kora replied. Dana’s smile brightened even more at the mention of her baby. She has just remembered that he had said a proper thank you to Kora for helping her up to the point of passing out.
"Kora," Dana Called. She stopped what she was doing and walked over to where Kora stood. Kora closed the suite case so no one would push anything else inside again and stood up. Dana hugged her out of the blue. "Thank you so much, Kora, I owe you."
"I wanted to," Kora said quickly understanding what Dana was talking about. Kora hugged her back. She did not know when she would see them again.
"I know, but I am still grateful," Dana said squeezing her a little harder. Rosie joined the hug and they stayed like that for a minute before Kora pushed them away from her.
"Everything is packed and ready to do now," Rosie informed them. She picked up one of the suite cases to pull it outside.
"I won’t need all of those," Kora said looking at the two suite cases that they pulled along with them.
"We wouldn’t put them in here if you has worn them before, even if it was just one time," Dana said. She had enjoyed taking her shopping and buying all the girl stuff. She got to experience having a daughter when Kora came into their lives and she wanted to give her everything that a mother could give to. Daughter but Kora never used most of them.
She did not feel offended after all, ah knew what Kora was like but she still did it anyway and wnkiywd every moment she spent with her doing those things.
"I will be there on the day of your marking ceremony," Dana said as she walked through the door that has been opened by Rosie for her. "You will make a great Luna."
"I know," Kora said with a straight face as if what she was told was not a compliment. Rosie chuckled from behind them.
"Your mate is quite a handful," Stated Dana. She stopped walking and turned to face Kora. "Make sure he treats you as his equal, Kora, nothing less than that."
"You know me," Kira said and Dana nodded at her. " I will take of myself, Dana, you don’t have to worry about that."
’I know, Kora, but the thing about mates is that unexpected things happen, and you will never know what will change" Dana said in worry. She knew that Darren cares for Kora and she could see the love in his eyes for her but could help to worry, Darren and Lazarus were similar but unlike Lazarus, Darren didn’t have that much control and she did but want her child fall victim to abuse from her mate.
"I will be fine," Kora said with confidence. "I still have you guys here, I can always come back, right?"
"Yes, you can."
"Always."
Dana and Rosie said at the same time.
