Chapter 110: 110. Call the parents

All eyes shifted to Kora, waiting for an answer. Kora did not like to be the focal point of everyone’s gaze. She glared at whoever her eye came in contact with. Knowing that they won’t leave her be, Kora opened her mouth to speak.

"Because he is." And that was its. Nothing more, making them all groan in annoyance. While she just leaned back into the couch. Darren couldn’t help but smile she was perfect and would do a great job annoying the council of elders.

"He asked how," Raven said. He had a frown on his face. Somewhere inside him, he was glad that she was leaving but another part of him felt the opposite way.

"I didn’t know how fell under the ’Special shifter’ list but he can always do Little research on the family history and background," Kora suggested.

"We have all the answers to our question now about something more important," Darren said, all wuw were then directed at him. "Levi and Emily," Darren called their names. He wanted to talk about them in the presence of Lazarus the aloha of the pack so things could be settled quickly. He wanted to leave as soon as possible and the thing with Emily and Levi was still unsettled. He had heard that Emily’s mother did not seem happy about Emily being mated to someone, or perhaps, Levi, and he want to address that in a way where a decision will be made quickly and there is no better way than in the presence of two alphas.

Being called out like that, Emily froze momentarily. Her gaze shifted to look at Levi and then to the Supreme Alpha. "We are here, Alpha," Levi said.

"Is the thing between you two settled?" Darren asked. His expression was serious as he spoke. 𝚏𝐫𝚎𝗲𝕨𝐞𝐛𝕟𝚘𝐯𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝗺

"No, Alpha," Levi responded. Huseyws met with that Emily and paused on her for a moment. He could the emotions that ran deep inside her eyes from across their seats. He looked back at his alpha his eyes has been on him.

’What happened?’ Darren asked Levi through the mind link.

’Shea is conflicted.’ Levi said. ’Her parents want to discuss our mate bond before we can take a step forward.’ He further explained.

’That is fucked up.’ Darren said and ended the link. Darren shifted his gaze from Levi to Lazarus. "Alpha Lazarus," he called.

Lazarus didn’t need to be told what he was expected to do as he already knew what was going on. He had that Emily was wanted by Levi, Darren’s gamma but he did not have the time to address it until now. He understood something was not right that was why Darrennyad devised to address it now. "Emily," he called her name.

In the space of the quiet room, she sounded loud as everyone was silent listening to the alphas. Emily felt all eyes shift to her and she took a deep breath. "Alpha," she said with a small bow.

"I want to hear from you, what’s going on," Lazarus said and Emily gave a nod and a bow.

Emily’s eyes scanned the room and finally settled on Levi whose gaze was on her like everyone else in the room. He gave her a nod of encouragement before she tore her haze away from andbentbwithbuee beat friend who sat comfortably next to her make without any expression on her face.

Emily wanted her to say something or do something, and if it was a smile would have been okay but knowing her friend, her empty face was new to her.

"Supreme Gamma Levi of the Werewolf tribe is my mate, Alpha," Emily said. She looked at Alpha Lazarus and then at Darren before looking at her mate.

"Then what is the problem here?" Lazarus asked. For them to address the issue, they have to hear what the problem was from the parties involved even if they already knew what it was.

"We are waiting for my parent’s permission, Alpha," Emily said without telling that her mother was unhappy with her leaving.

Raven raised a brow at her and Kora’s lips pulled up the answer knowing exactly what was the issue and she had successfully pushed and squeezed it into her answer in a way that didn’t sound like it all. Lazarus and Darren looked at the girl who did not want to make her parents look bad. Since she had it out that way, they will have to address it that way.

"What do you have to say, Levi?" Darren asked his gamma.

Levi stared at Emily who stared back at him. "What she said," Levi replied to Darren’s question while still looking at Emily. "But I won’t take a ’NO’ for an answer." He made his stance clear, talking both to Emily and the people with them.

"We have what you both have said," Lazarus spoke, his gaze on the girl who would be leaving his pack soon. He wondered if all ue unmated females in his oa k will be going to the Shadow Moon pack soon. "As much as I would like to say you both should handle this yourself, it seems there is more to it that we are unaware of and you are not telling."

"We can’t help much if we don’t know what is the problem. Everything seems pretty simple from what you have said and work a simple solution." Darren stated.

Emily but on her lower lip at their words. They didn’t know how her mother can be and she was not sure if her father had been able to change her mind it if he had even spoken to her since they had returned.

"From what we have. heard, all you need now is the brain and permission of your parents and you can do as you wish, Right Emily?" Darren asked her.

"It isn’t as simple as that, Alpha," Emily said meeting Darren’s eyes for a brief second.

"Then how is it?" Darren asked.

"I say we should call her parents here, and ask them what the problem is that is keeping the mates apart, we can’t know the reasons for the parent’s refusal without them here to speak for themselves," Kora interjected before Emil starts to feel pressured.

"I agree with her," Rosie said and the eyes of everyone turned to look at her. "To know the mindset of a person, you need to talk to one person, not another." She explained. Rosie was glad she didn’t have to sit through something like this when Raven had brought her to the pack.

"And I agree too." The voice of Dana came to their hearing. They turned to look in the direction of the stairs and where she walked gracefully descending one at a time. She came to stand beside her mate who stood up and took her hand in his and led her to sit next to him. "It is the parents’ permission is needed, and they can’t give it in their absence bring them here."
