Chapter 2426: Chapter 2426: Crying Nonstop No Matter How She’s Soothed

Jasmine Yale’s body was quite weak. The doctors had prepared several surgical plans, but in the end, they weren’t needed, and the baby was born safe and sound.

The doctors and nurses in the delivery room all breathed a sigh of relief.

The little one was wrapped in a light yellow floral quilt, her tiny face flushed from crying, a small bundle like a little kitten.

Butler Santana brought the baby to Jasmine Yale: "Miss Yale, it’s all right now, it’s all right, both you and the baby are safe. Look at the baby, she’s a little princess with jet-black hair, so beautiful."

Though Jasmine Yale was completely exhausted, she still opened her eyes at the sound of Butler Santana’s voice.

The moment her eyes opened, she saw the little one’s flushed face.

The baby had long eyelashes and a high nose bridge, her little hands moving about, crying fiercely.

"Baby, don’t cry, don’t cry..." Butler Santana comforted.

Jasmine Yale closed her eyes again, a faint smile playing on her lips.

She had indeed given birth to a little girl, a very beautiful little girl.

"Miss Yale, the little girl has great timing, being born on such a wonderful day as New Year’s Day," Butler Santana said, holding the baby and chatting with Jasmine Yale.

Jasmine Yale was completely out of strength; she closed her eyes and didn’t speak.

Before long, the nurse wheeled Jasmine Yale out of the delivery room, and Butler Santana followed with the baby, glancing down at the loudly crying little one.

Who would have thought the little one could cry so much?

Butler Santana looked closely at this child, his throat choked, suddenly at a loss for words.

The little girl’s face resembled Jasmine Yale, but her features were more like her father’s.

The little one wasn’t chubby, weighing just six pounds.

The nurse gave the baby a bath and dressed her in new clothes.

Outside the window, the night sky descended, stars and moon dimly shining, making for a beautiful night with the wind softly rustling the sheer curtains and the gentle sway of the tree shadows.

In the deep winter month, the cold wind rose.

The little girl cried fiercely, wailing nonstop, unable to be comforted.

Once tired from crying, she nestled into the little quilt and quietly fell asleep.

In the early morning, the wind was strong, the night deep.

When Jasmine Yale regained her senses, it was already late at night. Butler Santana brought the little one to her side, and she smiled at the baby, her fingers touching the little girl’s soft cheeks.

When the little one wasn’t crying, she was quiet, with a fair and clean face, her small mouth pouting as if very happy.

Jasmine Yale felt great affection in her heart, especially when her fingers met her daughter’s soft little hand, driving away all the unhappiness.

"She’s so tiny," Jasmine Yale said softly to Butler Santana, "just a little bit big."

"Do you want to hold her?"

"Let her sleep, she’s sleeping so soundly!"

"The little one cries too much, she cried as soon as she came out."

"Is she cold?"

"No, touch her hand, it’s warm."

Every time Jasmine Yale touched the little one’s hand, the baby would grasp her, not letting her loosen her grip.

Jasmine Yale’s heart felt warm, completely melted.

The hardships endured in the delivery room were forgotten, as if she couldn’t remember how she barely escaped with her life when first sent in.

That kind of pain, compared to the happiness she now had, was insignificant.

Mrs. Kimberley’s son woke up, and when she got up to nurse him, she took the opportunity to look at Jasmine Yale’s daughter.

"Mrs. Yale, your little girl is so pretty, those eyelashes are really long, and her little mouth is so cute," Mrs. Kimberley praised repeatedly.

Jasmine Yale smiled, "Yes, she’s very pretty."

"Mrs. Yale, she looks like you."

"Really?"

"Yes!"
