Chapter 2382: Chapter 2382: Eagerly Unbuttoning His Shirt
Just as the scarf was about to be tied, Jasmine Yale stood on tiptoe, suddenly hugged Sylvan Cheney’s neck, and pressed a kiss onto his cool lips.
His lips were very cool.
Without a bit of warmth.
Her burning red lips wantonly pressed against his for over ten seconds, the motions somewhat awkward.
Sylvan Cheney’s large hand supported her waist, and after she had kissed for a while, he pulled her away: "Alright, let’s go, head home."
Jasmine Yale couldn’t deepen the kiss, only pressed on his lips.
His clean scent carried a hint of wine, along with an elusive tobacco aroma.
"Mm, let’s go home." She was rather cheerful, "Let me have my fill of kisses at home, alright?"
Sylvan Cheney wrapped her waist: "Sure."
Jasmine Yale leaned against his side, close together, sometimes even putting her hand into his pocket to warm up.
They left the restaurant.
Jasmine Yale wanted to stroll around nearby, but unfortunately, Sylvan Cheney wasn’t greatly interested and directly called for a driver.
The car inside was quiet, engulfed in darkness.
Jasmine Yale sat beside him, resting her head on his shoulder, her face filled with a contented smile.
She pulled his hand over to her belly: "Once the little one is full, he won’t cause a fuss. Do you know what it’s like to be a mother? It’s somewhat... mm, painful yet joyful."
"I can tell, you really like this child."
"How could one not like their own baby?" Jasmine nudged him, "Tell me, how much do you love him?"
"As much as I love you."
"You’re fibbing, people always say fathers and mothers are not the same, mothers carry the baby for ten months, and the bond with the baby is much stronger than the father’s."
"If you must say there’s a difference, how should I explain it to you? Hm?"
Jasmine laughed: "Alright, no need to explain, I believe you."
She trusts that he loves the baby a lot too.
The journey wasn’t far, Jasmine nestled in his embrace, chatting about random topics, all over the place.
In the darkness, she could only see the general outline of his face, unable to see the subtle expressions in his eyes.
For a stretch of the journey, neither spoke, leaving the car in an instant silence, peaceful and quiet.
Jasmine leaning in his embrace, not sleepy, just particularly fond of his embrace.
The moonlight was clear, the breeze gentle and clouds light.
Back home, Sylvan Cheney helped her take off her coat and got her slippers.
"Don’t walk barefoot on the carpet, regardless of how comfortable it is, it’ll get chilly." Sylvan warned.
"Got it."
"Mm."
Sylvan Cheney watched Jasmine change her shoes before going to the living room to pour her hot water.
The house was tidied by her, immaculate, not a speck of dust, even his changed clothes were neatly ironed.
"Drink some hot water, I’ll go run the bath for you." Sylvan placed the cup on the bedroom table.
Just as Sylvan finished speaking, Jasmine threw herself at him, hugging his waist, unwilling to let him go.
Sylvan instinctively supported her.
Jasmine lifted her small hand, unbuttoning his vest.
The buttons were easy; once done, she eagerly started on his shirt buttons.
Just undone one, revealing his sexy, tempting collarbone, carrying the charm of a mature man.
Sylvan grabbed her wrist, pinned it, not allowing her to continue.
Jasmine looked up, gazing at him, her eyes like rippling water, much like a startled little deer.
Pressed closely against him, a wild flame ignited within her.
