Victor looked at the large number of souls he had just harvested by killing the spiders and pondered for moment before deciding.
"I should first upgrade the number of soldiers I can carry with me," Victor mumbled as he directly injected thousands of souls to upgrade the current army capacity. Immediately, he felt the souls stored within his blood begin to drain rapidly, and his bloodline reacted violently at the same time.

Victor did not hesitate and spent 100 Soul Fragments to summon a Tier 1 soldier.

The shadow beneath Victor’s feet writhed, and Emily and Rina, who were watching, widened their eyes as the shadows transformed into a large wolf made of darkness. A sword protruded from the top of its head, its blade pointing forward. It resembled a unicorn’s horn, but instead of a horn, it possessed a black sword emitting dark mist.
’Heavens, this one is Tier 1!’ Rina thought speechlessly as she sensed the aura radiating from the shadow wolf.
However, the next moment her expression changed when she felt all the shadow wolves radiating Tier 0 auras begin to advance. They suddenly turned to look at Victor.
’What is going on? Is he doing this?’ she wondered.

"Yes," Victor said as the soldiers turned into black smoke and began to transform.
"Sir Victor, what is happening to these dumb dogs?" Lilith approached Victor and asked with concern. She was worried she would not be able to boss anyone around anymore and looked at Victor anxiously.
"They are evolving," Victor replied, rolling his eyes at Lilith.
"Oh, that’s great! Miss Lilith will have stronger servants!" Lilith’s eyes sparkled with excitement.
Victor’s eyebrows twitched upon hearing her words as he thought, ’They are my servants, not yours, you know.’
"What’s happening?" Emily muttered as she could feel the magic coming from the shadows increasing.
Soon, the black smoke vanished, and in place of the Berserkers stood wolves with black swords protruding from their heads.
"Woah, they seem stronger," Lilith’s eyes sparkled as she saw the new soldiers.
"That’s not all," Victor said as he spent 20,000 more souls to increase the number of soldiers to 300.
As soon as the souls were consumed, the shadows began to writhe again, and 200 more Swift Strike Wolves emerged from the darkness.
As Victor was admiring his new soldiers, he heard the sound of footsteps and saw Rina and Emily walking toward him.
Rina looked at him and said with a nervous smile, "I never expected to meet the mysterious man under such circumstances... well, I also did not expect you to be this handsome."
Hearing Rina’s teasing words, he smirked and said, "I also did not expect to meet the heiress of the Hall Duchy in such a dangerous situation... doesn’t this feel like one of those cliché stories where the prince saves the beauty?"
"Haha, you are funny." Hearing Victor’s words, the tension in her shoulders seemed to lessen as she giggled, which caused Emily beside her to twitch her eyebrows.
"By the way, if you don’t mind, what are these?" Rina pointed toward the soldiers and asked.
"Yes, even I am curious," Emily, who had remained silent the whole time, asked.
Victor blinked his eyes and then looked at Emily and said, "By the way, who were you again?"
Veins popped out on Emily’s forehead as she noticed the slight curve of his lips.

She guessed Victor was feigning ignorance simply because she had reprimanded him previously for not showing Rina proper respect, and indeed, that was the reason Victor was doing this.
"My name is Emily. Perhaps you forgot, but we met before at the auction," Emily said with a forced smile.
Rina, seeing their interaction, could not help but chuckle softly.

Both of them looked at Victor in disbelief, staring at him as though he had grown a second head.
"Well, it’s not a big deal," Victor said with an expression that made even Rina want to punch that handsome face.
"By the way, what were you doing in my territory?" Victor asked with a raised eyebrow.
"We came here to visit the Silvernum Territory but who would expect that we..." Rina was about to continue, but then paused and asked him with wide eyes, "Wait, did you say this is your territory?"
