Chapter 163: Ch-163: Exterminating the nest
’Heavens, I had ignored the fact that he had Lightning when he used it in his fight... wasn’t the Silvernum heir also rumored to possess Black Lightning?’ Rina cried out inwardly, looking at Victor with eyes as wide as saucers.
"What, you are the Silvernum heir?" Emily also exclaimed.
"Indeed, I am Victor Silvernum," Victor replied as his helmet vanished from his head, and he smiled at her.
"I never expected it to be you," Rina said in a dazed voice.
"So, why were you visiting me anyway?" Victor asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Oh, right." Rina snapped out of her daze and showed him a picture of a mech, which caused him to raise an eyebrow. Then Rina asked, "These mechs, were you the one who made them?"
"Indeed, I made them. I awakened a special bloodline to create them," Victor said calmly.
Rina’s eyes lit up with joy, while Emily grumbled inwardly.
’Heavens, just how many bloodlines does this freak have?’
"How did you even know I made them?" Victor asked with narrowed eyes.
"Hmm, well, I learned about them from a bunch of weird people," Rina said with furrowed eyebrows.
"Weird people?" Victor blinked.
"Yeah, they were calling themselves by a strange term called NPCs," Rina replied.
’Ah... it slipped my mind. Some of the players also got the mechs from me,’ Victor thought.
"Hmm, Lord Silvernum, I hope you can sell some of these to me," Rina straightened her back and said in a formal tone.
"You can just call me Victor. We are the same age... and yes, I can sell some of them to you," Victor said as he rolled his eyes at her.
"Great, Lord... I mean Victor," Rina replied with sparkling eyes and said, "What are we waiting for? Let’s go."
"Patience. I will need some time to make the mechs, and you might have to stay in the territory for a while. Is that okay with you?" Victor asked.
Rina nodded and said, "It’s fine."
"Hmm, what are you doing?" Emily raised an eyebrow when she saw Victor raise his palms and felt an ominous premonition.
Screee!
Again, a large phoenix made of blue flames emerged from Victor’s hands and started spewing fire across the entire nest.
The soldiers were not idle either as they started attacking the nearby injured spiders.
"Hey, what the hell are you doing? Are you crazy? You will attract the attention of the other Tier 4s!" Emily shouted suddenly as she looked around anxiously.
"That’s exactly what I am trying to do... you should run... because the battlefield is about to become far more chaotic," Victor said.
"You are being reckless... you will die if you fight the Tier 4 enemies," Rina said in horror.
"Will I?" Victor said as he tilted his head sideways and pointed at the Tier 4 corpse.
"..." Emily
"..." Rina
"Miss, let’s go," Emily said as she could tell Victor was not joking.
The moment they left, Victor turned into a streak of lightning and charged toward the sky.
Rumble!
The sky started to crackle with black lightning.
Victor, clad in white armor which boosted his lightning power, then activated his gravity manipulation and muttered,
"Giant Axe of Purgatory Lightning."
"Flames Fusion."
The next moment, an axe made of black lightning with blue flames wrapped around it charged toward the center of the nest at an extremely fast speed, where he had sensed two powerful gazes from.
The moment the lightning axe descended, a wave of killing intent burst out from the center of the nest.
Rina and Emily, who were almost out of the forest, looked back when they felt the danger, and their jaws nearly dropped to the ground.
"What the fuck is that?" Emily’s eyes widened in terror as she looked at the giant axe hovering in the sky.
Looking at the bluish-black axe looming over them, Emily was shocked and felt terror as she could sense the devastating destruction hidden within that thing.
If that thing fell, they were doomed to die without even their ashes remaining.
"How is he this strong?" Rina muttered in a dazed voice.
"Miss, we need to move. It’s still not safe here," Emily grabbed Rina, and they ran even faster.
------
The King and Queen of Spiders, who looked completely human except that the color of their skin was deep purple, sensed many of their children dying.
"Scree, we should go and help them," the Queen Spider said.
"Scree, I will go. You give birth to more children. I will—"
Before he could finish his words, both of them jumped to their feet as they sensed a huge threat approaching them.
They immediately flashed outside the nest.
They stood petrified, looking at the shocking sight of a huge black axe hovering above the spider nest, they could feel the threat of extinction from it.
The other soldiers arrived and knelt before them.
"My King and Queen, we need to get out of here immediately," one of the spiders said anxiously, and the others echoed the same sentiment.
"Yes, you—"
His eyes widened in terror as he looked at the giant axe, which was already charging toward them.
"Damn it, it’s too late! Hurry and use all of our defensive skills!" the King roared at the top of his voice.
Within a fraction of a second, the large bluish-black giant axe crashed into the spider nest directly above the heads of the King and Queen.
BOOOOOM!
What happened next was nothing short of pure destruction.
As soon as Victor’s lightning axe came into contact with the surface, it exploded.
The blast created a huge mushroom cloud as black lightning and bluish flames covered the entire sky, followed by raging winds of blue fire.
The shockwave carried extreme heat that vaporized everything within a three-kilometer radius. The entire nest along with all the monsters were wiped out by that singe attack.
" Tsk, these amplifications are too broken " Victor seeing the power behind the attack also broke out in cold sweat.
