Chapter 62: What’s Wrong With Leo?
Even though Michael didn’t say it clearly, both Raphael and Leo understood that in this world, something called Heaven exists. And this existence is related to gods, so if you’re not a god, don’t bother with it.
"Then it’s my turn. If anything happens, you better be careful."
Leo said this to remind Michael. As for Raphael, his current strength is enough that watching over two god-level talent kids is no problem at all.
From the top of Leo’s head, a star also flew out, and behind his head, a faint, illusion-like circle appeared.
That circle looked just like Michael’s when there were no flames at all. But one difference was that the color of Leo’s aura was a mix of white and black, like panda fur.
That star released a brilliant light covering Leo’s entire body, making him shine all over.
His shape then changed as his height quickly increased to two meters. The width of his body also expanded, revealing a round belly.
Before the light even had time to fade, Michael could already make out the shape of a fat panda.
Right after, an image very close to what Michael had imagined appeared before his eyes. A fat panda with extremely beautiful fur was wearing a pair of shorts patched in many places.
The shorts looked a bit easy to tear, but Michael was sure that even if he used all his strength to rip them, he couldn’t damage those shorts.
Leo then opened his eyes. From deep in his gaze came a kind of aura like a martial arts master. Luckily, there was no sign in his eyes of going crazy like Michael earlier.
Suddenly, Leo stared hard at Michael. He looked from top to bottom, then bottom to top, sending a chill down Michael’s spine.
"Leo... What are you trying to do?"
For some reason, Michael felt like he was about to suffer. That weird look didn’t seem like he wanted to kill him, but it also didn’t look like anything good at all.
"Such good muscles but you don’t know martial arts—what a waste. Let me check you out and see if your whole body is good enough."
Suddenly Leo shouted with great intensity. His eyes blazed like a great martial artist who loves his craft and wants to pass down all his techniques to some random kid.
The more Michael looked, the more uneasy he felt. He was about to run away when suddenly Leo jumped over and pressed both hands hard on his shoulders, forcing him down until he almost sat on the floor.
At that moment, the joints of his knees took a heavy pressure that made them feel like they were about to "crack." Michael grimaced in pain and was shocked by this sudden move.
"You need to stand in a horse stance, not sit down."
As soon as he finished speaking, Leo kicked Michael right in the crotch, stopping his falling body with the reverse force.
"F*ck!"
Michael only had time to curse, not to react with anything more useful. His eyes also bulged like they were about to pop out from pain... Wait, it didn’t actually hurt that much, just a natural brain response to that kind of thing.
Even though he hadn’t had time to react against Leo’s weird moves, Michael remembered back when he was on Earth.
He remembered once when he was a kid, he was balancing on a low fence, then slipped, and his lower body got hit hard. That feeling, even though he had long forgotten it, was sure at the time to be extremely painful.
His current body or more precisely, his transformed state, seemed to reduce the pain in that area significantly... No, that’s not right. He now felt like down there, something was missing.
So that was it. It wasn’t that the pain was reduced. He had just lost a part entirely. Gods don’t excrete, so not having that thing is normal.
"Nice, you handle pain well. So let’s continue with the front split."
Leo said as he pressed hard on Michael’s shoulders while using his foot to kick Michael’s leg backward, creating the right condition for Michael to do a front split.
But crisp cracking sounds rang out instead of miserable screams from Michael’s hip joints.
Earlier the pain was from his brain thinking it was real, but this time it was real pain. He felt like he might never stand up again.
"Not bad. Next is the side split..."
Leo spoke and acted at the same time, changing Michael’s body into many strange positions over and over to test his flexibility.
The crisp cracking from Michael’s bones and joints was the most prominent sound in the house right now.
Raphael watched and felt more and more weirded out by Leo’s actions. He was sure it was similar to Michael’s situation earlier, but less dangerous.
Even though it looked like Leo was about to break Michael’s bones, the force he used always stayed within limits. Just enough to hurt but not cause serious damage.
Plus, Leo really looked like he wanted to teach Michael martial arts, not mess around.
"One of them just starts and goes after me. One of them just starts and ignores me... Why are the transformation forms of god-tier talents all this strange?"
Raphael’s eyelid twitched slightly as he watched the scene of his son ’shaping’ Michael.
Luckily Leo did things in moderation. Otherwise, he’d really have to step in and slap him unconscious.
...
Not sure how much time passed, but Michael had been ’shaped’ into over a hundred strange positions. He wasn’t bulging his eyes out anymore, nor did he want to curse.
If he could, he’d want the world to be destroyed. Being a genie but this damn frustrating was too much.
The father kept slapping him across the face over and over, and the son was even worse. It felt like every joint in his body was about to fall apart.
"Your overall body flexibility is pretty good. Time for you to experience the hardest technique in martial arts."
Leo’s fist was covered by a layer of white and black aura. It was very thin but even tougher than armor. Before Michael could react, he took a punch straight to the gut and spat out saliva.
