Chapter 1821: Chapter 1820 - Heart of Origins

"True Lord Sun, what is this place?!" Sun was currently with a large crowd of his peers. He had more respect than others but even he could only shake his head.

Lind had sent out invites a decade ago. The Blessed Crimson Range was not the destination but a set of coordinates not far from it. The issue was it was in the air. There were no floating continents near the range.

Thus, he was as shocked as anyone when a sprawling object was now there. While Master Tiers could devastate the landscape if they fought, creating a continent was nearly impossible without causing some kind of reaction from Heaven and Earth.

Yet, they had felt nothing!

Sun came to a clearing in the wilds and there was no sign of guards nor restriction of any kind! They were then teleported up to a platform that left him stunned even more!

There were 6 powerful suns of elements but they were not of any 3 systems. They were far more profound! Even he, after so many lifetimes and experiences, was left stunned!

Then, a Divine Will appeared that left him feeling inadequate! The real Lind was restrained and clearly had held back, but his Divine Will had no such compunction!

The aura was like facing a far superior being compared to anyone he had ever met!

[Welcome to the Heart of Origins. I have made this place not as a direct reflection of my dantian but as a place that calls forth the Origin of all the Mysteries I have grasped.] A projection then appeared showing 8 rings. [Each ring corresponds to the layer in the dantian. Proceed through each ring and eventually you will reach the Tapestry Ring at last.]

A trial! The blasted thing was a trial! Unlike a dantian that had the Life Layer on the outside, the ring was on the inside! Sun felt many stares at him but he had no answers!

He instead quickly went into the Life Ring. He expected to breeze through it yet he found himself immersed in Mystery energy! How?! There was nowhere in the Divine Lands so rich in Mystery energy of any layer!

Tears formed as he quickly assumed a lotus position and contemplated his own Life Layer. He had already long left it behind but he now found there was a way to improve it!

He was so lost in his cultivation that he did not notice others joining him. Centuries passed and he awoke with a profound glow to his eyes. His golden fur was now richer and his aura had improved!

"Lind, what have you done?" He mumbled the question but he dared not disturb others. He noticed a few were in the Death Ring already but he had no way to gauge whether that was due to their own prowess or his slow learning!

He went on and found the next session was much shorter. As it went on, he realized that from when he met Lind, he hardly needed to polish anything.

It was only when he hit the Time Ring that he hit a wall. No matter how he tried, he could not learn a damn thing!

Why had he made such a fierce barrier to the one piece of information so many had gathered for?!

[Hey! Lind! This was not what you promised!] He called out in anger but he was shocked when the Divine Will appeared. The figure was a perfect replica of the man. Emerald hair down the back, reptilian eyes looking at him, and jade skin so perfect it made one want to curse him for his handsomeness.

"Sun, there is a reason for my methods. I condensed the Time Layer first. Does that not tell you how important it is to grasp something of it before touching on the Tapestry?" It seemed reasonable but Sun was much older than the upstart in front of him.

[You need to explain it! The others will feel cheated and you need to share your wisdom. They will come for your original self if they feel cheated!] The wondrous experience was well worth it yet that was not what the Master Tiers would care about at the end.

The Divine Will smiled at him and a brief burst of a profound aura washed over Sun. He felt pain and winced before it ended.

"Do you understand now?" Sun felt humbled but then shook his head.

[They will still ask. I am serious.] Lind nodded and waved his hands. A sort of passage opened and Sun looked at his friend. He walked down it and realized he was beyond all the rings and in the elemental area!

His dantian reacted and he felt like he improved just standing there!

Several courtyards were revealed and Sun realized the Divine Will was there too!

He moved forward and first cultivated. Unlike in the rings, he was free to absorb pure elemental power unlike anything he had ever felt before. The quality was beyond anything in the Divine Lands!

Sun realized Lind was a diabolical genius. The artifact was a place everyone would covet at the Divine Realm and would not dare damage or threaten so as to not lose access to it!

As he improved his elemental nodes, he opened his eyes and saw the Divine Will smiling at him.

"Do you understand?" Sun shook his head. It was a treasure but it would not excuse Lind from his obligations. As he began to speak, he felt the figure before him change.

Impressions, ideas, and concepts flowed over him. They were unlike anything he had ever felt before! Sun was lost in a trance before he realized it!

He had no idea how much time passed before he awoke and found a few other people around him!

The Divine Will was calmly looking at him. Sun realized he had touched on the Tapestry Mystery without actually having to learn the Time Mystery. He then understood.

[You made 3 methods to grasp the Mysteries?!] The Divine Will smiled and then laughed.

"Apprentice and Journeyman Tiers are still restricted of course but they can still come here and expand their horizons." Sun realized he had been too shallow about his preconceptions.

He quickly checked the outside world and realized he had lost 10,000 years! He was about to panic when he frowned. While 10,000 years had passed for him, barely a year had passed in the rest of the Divine Lands!

He was about to speak when the Divine Will put a finger to his own lips. Why invert time for beings that lived for billions of years?

Sun had so many questions but he suddenly found himself back on the surface! What was going on?! He tried to enter the beam of energy but nothing happened. It was like it no longer acknowledged him!

[LIND!] He shouted in his mind but was shocked when a hand clasped his shoulder. He whirled to find the man himself standing there.

"Come on you maniac." Lind took him to his palace in the Blessed Crimson Range. He found a remarkable lack of Divine Realm cultivators. Sun then found a powerful ale in his hands with good food on a table.

"I expected Shoti or Annabelle to finish first but I suppose you would. Well done." Sun froze as the words sank in. Finish? First? His confusion must have been clear as Lind laughed and sipped at tea.

Lind then explained to him that the artifact was a one time use to Master Tiers. Anyone below that could return after advancing to the next Tier. It was an encouragement for many as the initial rings were treasures unequaled anywhere!

No place existed rich in Mystery energy like the Heart of Origins. Sun slowly began to grasp what was going on.

Lind had made a place not solely for Master Tiers to grasp the Tapestry Layer but for all Divine Realm cultivators to improve themselves! It was a place that would foster cooperation to keep in the good graces of the Blessed Crimson Range going forward!

Sun looked at his friend in shock. The peace after the Final Fiend War was expected. Massive losses had led to vast empty tracts of land and resources. There was no need to fight as people could claim what they wanted.

All knew it was temporary but the upper echelons were also not as rushed to fight anymore. Cooperation had led to far more chances for them so those under them now negotiated or allied themselves to pool resources.

It had worked wonderfully so far. Yet, none were naive enough to think it would last.

Lind had found a solution! A place regulated by a single power would not normally restrict any Divine Realm cultivator. The Heart of Origins was a treasure all would safeguard from any interference.

The rules were clear and the Blessed Crimson Range was a center of power and now it was going to be protected by all! No one would want to lose access!

"This could start a war still. You know that, right?" Lind smiled at Sun and nodded.

"What do you think would happen?" Sun looked at his old friend. A chill went down his spine but he did not need to speak. "The instant someone attacks, the Divine Will locks them out. They will never have access again."

Sun understood Lind would not hide that. He was letting the first round go through and then the warnings would come. Any machinations against the Blessed Crimson Range were dead in the water at that moment.

Lind had fulfilled his obligations to the Master Tiers, laid out a path of wisdom for lower Divine Realm tiers, but a possibility of reaching the Master Tier had increased!

He looked at his friend and reaffirmed he was a monster. Sun pitied those that thought to impose or sabotage him. They would have no way of knowing how they died!
