Chapter 1822: Chapter 1821 - Shocking Results

Once word of the Heart of Origins got around, many wished they could dispense with their duties to try it as Lind had expected. He smiled as they underestimated him.

The Heart of Origins was already a wondrous creation by allowing Divine Realm cultivators to experience Origin level Mysteries. He also inverted the flow of time because otherwise a Divine Realm would exhaust their lifespans inside.

Fading was not a simple thing in the midst of such power.

His own Time Layer allowed him to alter the flow inside but keeping the original time of the participants stable. Essentially, they had their perspective of the flow change and were able to compress it like a dream did while a human slept.

It had been impossible anywhere else, yet the existing energy in the Heart of Origins complemented his own. He was quite literally able to dictate Time as he wished inside the bounds of the artifact.

It was a living island in the sky in that sense.

The fact that flying there did not work was something no one yet grasped but they would one day. The artifact also sent out those that had gained all they could safely like Sun.

The issue there was a bit of a gray area until Master Tiers got involved. They could gain a lot from the first 6 rings but the last two were purely a comparison and inspiration situation.

They were already on their own paths.

They could not truly grasp the essence of those rings except for pieces that matched their own Mysteries.

Sun’s pain stemmed from that very thing. He had zero Time Mysteries in his dantian. The Tapestry Layer was not isolated from Time so that ring was far more dangerous without it. Lind thus created the outer ring in the Origin Elemental Ring.

The Divine Will would allow the Master Tiers to experience the aura of the Time and Tapestry Layers in a safer manner, like a Dao discussion.

That experience would solely depend on the receiver. Sun was very incompatible with both his Time and Tapestry Layers so he had not spent very long there but others were still in the first 3 rings of Life, Death, and Samsara.

All in all, it was already a remarkable construct but Lind was not satisfied with that. He now summoned palm sized tokens. They were imprinted with his aura yet not. It was not a key access or anything like that, it was instead his solution that would not work with Fey if she had formed the basis of the original Project Ares.

Her powers made for an excellent foundation but it would have been a closed circuit. She was not about the external world but the cycle of it. Life, Death, and Samsara were a part of everything but not able to be projected outward like many powers could be.

That was how profound her path was.

It did, however, allow for massive opportunities in the future as all living beings shared in that cycle.

Lind, however, was all about the external world. The Mystery of Defiance was like something that refused to bend to the norms of the cultivation world. The fact he could replicate his layers in an artifact at all was likely due solely to his harmony.

He doubted anyone else could ever pull it off.

As such, he could do something not only Fey, but few others could do.

"What is that?" Sun noticed the dark metal disc. It felt familiar and yet he seemed frustrated. Lind smiled as he understood.

"It won’t work for you, but that makes you ideal at the moment. I need someone." Lind held up the small disc and then produced an entire stack of them. He summoned a hollow cylinder and placed them inside.

The instant the silvery container held them, the aura snapped off except for the last one in Lind’s hand. The stack had at least one slot still open.

"These are extensions of the Heart of Origins. They are pale echoes and will not impede anyone that wants to arrive for the full experience later. They will, however, mimic the final Elemental Origin Ring experience plus as much of the rings as possible." Sun went bug eyed at that. It was hard to keep a straight face!

Lind knew he was saying that while the Rings 1-8 could not be transmitted outward, his Divine Will could! It was unheard of!

A Divine Will was supposed to be the ultimate part of a Divine Realm cultivator. It would carry memories, aura, and all the wisdom of the original.

The only catch was they had to be tethered like a spirit to an artifact. They could not be replicated or separated once anchored. Lind was showing he had discarded such a limitation so casually!

The trick, of course, was his harmony. It was the glue that allowed the artifact to work in such an insane fashion. Technically speaking, he was not replicating the Divine Will, just extending the reach of his artifact.

Unlike an Immortal Will or Immortal Realm cultivator, Divine Realm beings could handle far more actions at once. Lind had never seen a Divine Will limited by the fact of what they were, just that they could not leave.

So he had run an experiment. For once, it was not solely his harmony that could bridge the gap, it really took some fine tuning of his Forging and weaving to pull it off. He learned that instead of treating the Divine Will like a spirit, it was better to treat it as a manifestation of his mind.

As such, the projection now came from a central hub built into the main artifact and could be sent to as many satellite artifacts so long as he Forged them in the same session, materials, and carried enough of his intent to match the main artifact.

The limit was a bit of a guess but in the current instance, even Lind was shocked. Before, he could only get ten or maybe 12 if he pushed it in his experiments. He thought his Divine Will was the limiting factor but he had apparently been wrong.

The artifacts had been Dao Grade for efficiency and cost effectiveness. Mystery Grade had blasted through that limit like it did not exist! The current Divine Will was very close to his own capacity!

He had also discovered a serious issue. If someone had not been through the main artifact, they would be instantly entranced by the discs with ease! Qing had been the one to fall into a trance and she was still in it!

It was why he had changed the flow of time as he had no way to get her out safely! She was currently in a time inversion chamber that she could open on the inside. In relative time, she was already 5,000 years in!

Fey had actually proven the latter issue for him. She had blown through the first 3 rings as expected but the next 3 took her a few centuries. She actually did pass the Time Ring as well.

He had been shocked as he knew her Master Tier layer was not going that way at all!

She was the sole exception thus far.

After she was sent out, she could safely handle the discs but transporting them in a storage treasure was not going to work. Even inside a ring or other treasure, it did not contain his aura at all!

Only Haro’s ring could. The reason was obvious as the ring was with him for so long and finally transformed by his tribulation into a Master Tier.

Haro actually helped him create the casing he now used.

"I need your help, Sun." The True Lord Monkey snapped out of his shock before he listened and then a smile spread. Fey could technically help, yet being sent on an adventure where he could offer access to the Divine Will would allow a new cycle of exchange and inter-dependence between various powers.

Those that gained Lind’s favor, would have a chance to stay at home and get some benefit to later allow them to get even more when they could come to the main artifact. Those that caused harm or crossed his bottom line could only watch as the other Divine Realms grew stronger and stronger!

Sun laughed openly as Lind smiled back. The peace was cracking but this single act would cause those cracks to vanish! Not an attack or action needed beyond the promise of access to profound Mysteries!

"There are those that will call you a devil, my friend! I love this!" Lind did not deny it and was glad Sun had gotten done so quickly. He was perfect for the job. It would appeal to his mentality of mischief and also make them recall how close Sun was to him.

The cylinder could hold 20 discs. He had far more but there was no need to reveal that yet. Limited quantities were far more believable in the current circumstances.

Sun took them with careful instructions not to expose the discs until agreements were settled.

He looked up where the shadow of the artifact should have been visible but instead it was a wide open sky. It was visible inside a certain range, but outside it was not only not visible, it could not even be felt!

Sun had missed it because he only activated the defenses once everyone was inside.

The soft tapping of feet alerted him to someone coming into his room. Ryl and Pelia were cultivating while he monitored the Heart of Origins.

Karu walked in and sat next to him. If Fey was an exception for the Time Ring, Karu was a monster unto herself. She had beat everyone without batting an eye!

"You know what you have created right?" Her soft voice was joined with her grasping his hand. He looked at her and if Sun had still been there, he would have not recognized his friend.

[The next step of my path forward.] He dared not say it aloud. When he had created the Heart of Origins, he had felt his final bottleneck appear and shatter like glass. He oddly did not get any information but he could move forward at any time.

Given what he was doing, it was obviously related to the other core of his existence. His professions. That was not as odd as the first two but in his case there was a massive problem.

He had 3 derivative skills all at the Mystery Grade.

If it was just one, it would actually be a cakewalk compared to Time or the Tapestry Layer, but no one he knew of had ever done all 3 production skills, normal or otherwise.

Transcendent Maesters were already far beyond but there was supposedly one more step above. It was, of course, given the name for the purpose.

Eternal Maester. There was no grade 9 that he knew of for anything and he had never felt it but honestly, Mystery Grade could be called that with its massive jump in quality and requirements.

He had to figure out what the next layer was going to be while Heaven and Earth gave no clue. It was the final lock in the key.

All the Master Tiers he had met were only at their second Mystery or had given up and settled for a final Mystery that left them with no hope of ascending.

She pulled him close as she knew what that meant. The time to face the Original Bastard was getting closer.
