[Congratulations! Main Mission Complete!]
Alm and Bruno read the green screen that popped up in front of them, but this time, they noticed something different. Their gazes turned toward a distant, empty point. They weren’t just looking at their universe—they could now sense the universal celestial laws.
’!’
Suddenly, they sensed something far away, watching them. It was connected to them and the green screens. It had no defined shape and wasn’t exactly a person, but it felt like something with its own thoughts and awareness. Visually, it wasn’t much different from them after they evolved their souls. It looked like...
’A wisp? No, it’s probably just a coincidence. This is probably the most basic, primitive form possible...’ Bruno thought.
Alm scoffed, ’So, you’re the Heaven’s Will?’
Suddenly, that formless, colorless, and incomprehensible mass of light twisted.
[Want to return?] [Yes / No]
They read the new screen, feeling it was some kind of response.
’Now you’re asking this? You always did whatever you wanted, manipulating us...’ Alm remarked dryly.
In response, the distant form twisted more, but they could both tell it was making a great effort.
’Hmm... seems like it can’t speak directly. Maybe it’s too weak, and just keeping our system up is all it can handle,’ Bruno said calmly. ’Guess we can finally curse it out directly; that’s going to be satisfying.’
The presence seemed to tremble strangely, as if it was trying to say something but couldn’t. Both had the impression it was in pain trying to communicate with them.
Alm said coldly, ’If you can’t, just stay quiet, idiot. Do what you can and wait; we’ll free you eventually.’
In that instant, their vision returned to their own universe.
They felt a sharp pain—it had taken a lot of energy. But now, they were aware of a significant change. They were no longer just divine souls; they were something they’d call celestial souls. Many new possibilities could arise from this transformation.
It all took only five seconds before they turned back to the nine-star tree, a divine soul in the form of a small, two-meter tree.
’Looks like we can go back whenever we want. Let’s handle a few things here first,’ Alm said calmly.
They turned to their old body, not hesitating to step into it for more effective power use, since they didn’t currently have a body. They felt a bit uncomfortable settling back in.
’We got used to that weird, giant form... maybe something bigger is better to hold two souls,’ Bruno muttered sarcastically.

Then, they headed toward the only solar system in that space. As they approached, they waved, manipulating the chaos laws. The nine-star tree watched... and widened its eyes, seeing how smoothly they handled those laws.
Not surprising; they had immortal knowledge of the chaos law, though they hadn’t had the time to study everything. They’d read enough, and few could manipulate those laws with such precision. Plus, they had the chaos tree to assist them whenever needed.
Earlier, they’d created a regular sun for those planets. Now, with their refined experience, they remembered the nine suns from that place and converted the chaos laws to ignite seven suns: Yin, Yang, and the five basic elements, all at the immortal level.
’Unfortunately, we’re not that good with time-space. But in the future, Ruri can handle it,’ Bruno said before waving his hand and opening the inventory, taking out the 25 new planets they’d brought.
After some adjustments and making sure they were gravitationally stable and wouldn’t collide, they moved toward the planet Three Perks, where all the life forms from that micro-universe were.
Upon arrival, Leafar was the only one conscious, arranging everyone in an open field and waiting patiently.
He looked up and saw a shadowy figure approaching, its presence seeming to darken the world around it. Strangely, he knew instantly who it was. He finally felt the clear connection between them.
"Good work," Alm and Bruno said as they landed.
Then they waved, using half of the soul power collected from the three mountains, saved to heal their allies. They were billions of people with wounded souls—not severely, but they would have struggled to recover alone.
In no time, the souls were healed. Everyone quickly opened their eyes, but their senses were pulled like magnets toward the shadowy figure floating above them.
No one could speak or even breathe loudly in his presence.
Alm and Bruno noticed it wasn’t fear; rather, it was a strange, new sensation overwhelming them. The presence of their celestial soul seemed to suppress everyone around them, even though they weren’t doing anything. It was like the celestial laws naturally suppressing mortals; people always feared the laws naturally. With them, it wasn’t exactly fear, but everyone was seriously affected.
It was good they discovered that now; otherwise, they could’ve had trouble when they returned. They’d have to figure out how to suppress this effect.
"Alright, let’s start from the beginning." Taking advantage of everyone’s attention, they spoke, pointing to the nine-star tree beside them. "This, technically, is your master..."
Bruno calmly explained where they had been, what Anima cultivation was, where they were now, about the Queen, and who they really were. After almost an hour of explanations, he wrapped up:
"Now, this place has Qi, and you can cultivate. In that nearby solar system," he pointed at the common sun a little ways off, "my allies live there. They can answer any questions you have about regular cultivation and other issues."
"From today, you’re free to choose your own path. In a few days, I’ll go back to the universe you were in before; technically, that’s your home. Anyone who wants to return, I’ll erase your memories and bring you with me. Once you choose, though, I’ll have no responsibility over your future."
"Those who choose to stay should spread out among the other planets; there are no more empires. In my home, I don’t allow kingdoms or people trying to rule over others. Any attempts will be stopped, and people from the other solar system will step in and destroy it. Think it over; I’ll be back soon."
With that said, they moved up into the sky, heading toward the planet Pristine.
The nine-star tree was deep in thought, then directly asked, feeling a bit of trust in them: ’Missionary… what do you plan?’
"Hm? About them, just what I said. The Heaven’s Will will take me back, and I can bring them along," they answered quickly.
The tree pondered, ’And what about me? Is this place safe?’
"The Primordial Beast Behemoth is keeping the area secure. With the power sealing this place, I estimate at least three thousand years remain in the Queen’s universe. Here, it should be hundreds of thousands of years," Bruno replied gently, as they entered the planet’s atmosphere.
"As for you, this place needs a teacher. You’ll need to cultivate again, and while you do, your job will be to teach everyone here. I have the power to create a pseudo-hero, like those of the Queen. But your cultivation creates a Divine Inquisitor."
"My plans are simple: in my universe, I’m building an army. The law of chaos here isn’t any different from the micro-universe we were in; it’s perfect. Teach everyone your cultivation method. With both powers, we’ll create real monsters."
The nine-star tree was silent but clearly saw the potential for something grand to be born here. At that moment, they approached a dense, sacred forest.
"We’re back… it’s like nothing’s changed," Bruno murmured, observing the formation at the city’s entrance.
Their level was so high that, even with countless cultivators around, no one noticed them. They approached and, with a wave, entered directly.
Inside, they saw their city.
It was now a grand place with huge buildings and a dazzling aura… but towering over all the structures, several giant statues stood, as tall as mountains. They were images of the Divine Whale alongside Ruri in various stages of her life.
’Bit overboard,’ even Bruno admitted. But above the entire city, the figure of a colossal tree was the true focal point.
The nine-star tree looked at the sight, stunned. It had thought this body would still be in its infancy, that it would take thousands of years to start its cultivation, but that body was already practically mature, like a human adult.
The pair arrived at the tree’s base unnoticed by anyone. The tree’s divine soul sighed, and soon the divine seed that housed that soul shot out, entering the trunk.
’I’ll need to go into a deep sleep to fully adapt. I should awaken in a decade and begin cultivation. I promise to give my all to meet your expectations,’ it said softly.
"No problem. This planet’s Gaia will be able to clarify any questions you have later. It can also communicate with me in the Queen’s universe," Bruno replied lightly.
’There’s one other thing. In that place where I was sealed, that woman left countless incomplete Daos. They weren’t random things; they were techniques she saw great potential in and left in hopes some Divine Inquisitor would complete them.’
Then a dense rune of knowledge formed in front of the tree. ’I obviously had a lot of free time, read, and saw it all, while others studied them over the years. I hope it’ll be useful.’
Bruno accepted it and waved, planning to read through it all later. The nine-star tree then closed its eyes, entering a deep sleep. That’s when Bruno noticed Alm looking at something near the tree’s trunk.
Only now did Bruno see what was there… and a painful feeling surfaced in his chest. Three tombstones, with three simple graves, lay quietly side by side.
They approached, holding their breath.
When they read the engravings, they saw only names: "Langrum, Loeus, and Quitera…"
Memories of when they’d met the three surfaced, like daggers piercing their hearts. They had passed away from old age, after living peacefully, just as they’d wished.
"There’s probably a vast army of descendants of those two in the city… And Quitera, she’s a grandmother now…" Bruno murmured, taking a deep breath.
But Alm raised his eyes and activated his Celestial soul. He did something simple that didn’t require any energy; now they could do certain things naturally, like they were just breathing.
Bruno, confused, asked, ’What are you planning?’
’Search through the heavenly laws. Our karma is linked to them in some way. I’m sure we can figure out where they are,’ Alm replied coldly.
Bruno hesitated; if they were in a different universe, it’d be really hard to track them down… ’They’re really here?!’
’Obviously, that manipulator likes to keep everyone close by. There was no reason to send them off to be enslaved by the Queen,’ Alm retorted.
They closed their eyes… then saw everything clearly.
In the same city where they were, in a massive building built for alchemists, where the Dao of the Alchemy God and many of Almin’s creations were stored, was a man who looked about twenty. He was Loeus, a dedicated and talented alchemist.
On the old planet of Rivine, now called Shadowfell, in a vast wild forest inhabited by powerful beasts, a young human around 15 years old was moving alone, carrying a heavy sword on her back. She was lean, muscular, with long black hair tied back in a ponytail. Her gaze was fierce, and there was a strong will to fight in her eyes: it was Langrum.
Meanwhile, on the planet Pristine, within a forest, a young woman with clear traits of Ruri’s family, though tall and with a striking feminine charm, was meditating diligently, focused on cultivation. It was the Divinestone clan, now vast and vibrant, completely different from what Alm and Bruno remembered. Nixis had fully restored the place, and that young woman was Quitera.
’Hmm… all three of them look highly focused, with a huge drive to cultivate and grow,’ Bruno reflected.
Alm nodded. ’Maybe, after living peacefully and passing away, they now want something different, like dedicating themselves to cultivation. Maybe one day they’ll return to our side; only time will tell. Anyway…’
Then Alm opened his inventory and took out a figure. Mihkriel, wide-eyed, looked at that dark figure, trembling.
"You heard the queen before, didn’t you?" Alm said coldly. "Your body was captured by her, and you can’t return."
"Please… take me with you back… I can help…" he pleaded, shaking, thinking he’d be left behind.
"A scumbag like you?!" Alm spat mercilessly. "I had to save you twice. I don’t need someone who just causes trouble. You put me and all my allies at risk. My wish is to kill you in the worst way possible."
"I…"
Bruno sighed, understanding Alm’s intent. "I have a mission in mind for you. If you can be useful somehow, you’ll have to prove it to us." Bruno spoke calmly, easing the tension.
Wide-eyed, Mihkriel responded, "I’ll do whatever it takes. I can be useful, or… I fear being captured again…"
Alm almost growled again; besides being an idiot, he seemed to be a hopeless coward.
"Good. You studied the Queen’s reincarnation cycle, didn’t you? Liumi gave you the rest of the instructions. Do you think you can recreate it?" Bruno asked slowly.
He trembled, thinking it over. "Maybe… I have the knowledge, but I lack the power…"
"I can handle that, I can create whatever you need; just tell me. I only need you to set up the core of the formation; I’ll make the necessary adjustments afterward," Bruno explained, and Mihkriel nodded, confident.
"Give me a year…"
"That’s enough wasting time! You have three days," Alm ordered dryly. "If you can, create a replica of the three sacred mountains and the formation on this planet."
"I… I’ll do it," Mihkriel said, clenching his fists and heading off right away.
Alm and Bruno followed him to the open sea, where they created three artificial islands, each with a massive mountain.
Mihkriel spent two days meditating and testing, working as hard as he could, with Bruno assisting him. He showed true talent in understanding, and despite his traumas and insecurities, he had enormous potential.
By the middle of the third day, Mihkriel seemed to have completed the task. Bruno analyzed the runes and nodded, satisfied. It was a basic version of the Queen’s reincarnation system.
"I’m going to add a few details here," Bruno said, manipulating his power of faith.
In the Queen’s micro-universe, all souls bore a slave mark on them. Inspired by that, Bruno decided to use his own power, allowing all who worshiped him to be marked by faith and enter the reincarnation cycle.
"With this, we lessen the load on Heaven’s Will. It won’t need to manipulate the laws for others," Bruno said, finishing up. "Now, our universe is officially separate from common heavenly laws. Everyone here will reincarnate in the same place, under our control."
Mihkriel finished the other two locations in a few hours. Bruno was pleased; if they had done this alone, it would have taken years of study. This missionary had gone through years of study and had proven useful.
’This bastard, I don’t trust him,’ Alm thought, serious.
Bruno sighed. ’He seems to understand his place now. Don’t be so harsh. He can redeem himself with discipline…’
Alm remained silent, but in the end, he recognized Mihkriel had passed the difficult test. Plus, he seemed to fear them more than the Queen herself, showing no sign of competition inside him.
Decisively, Bruno turned to Mihkriel. "I’ll take you with us. But you don’t even need to act… just thinking of disobeying me, and I guarantee the Queen will seem like a Holy Goddess, and you’ll wish to be captured by her again."
"Y-yes… I won’t disobey!" Mihkriel replied, terrified.
"Good, come along. I’ll give you a new body." Bruno said, taking off and leaving the planet.
In space, Mihkriel was confused. He imagined he’d be given the body of a powerful cultivator to be useful quickly, but Bruno moved away from the planets, reaching the void surrounded by chaos laws.
"I was a Primordial Elemental Spirit and spent years studying my broken rune… all because of a bastard like you," Alm said, irritated.
"You’re good with chaos laws. Now’s a perfect chance to test something new," Bruno explained calmly. "I think I can create, with the chaos tree, the first Primordial Elemental Spirit of Chaos."
With a wave, he pulled the chaos laws into the inventory. In one day, they adapted to manipulate the new chaos tree and, with immortal-level knowledge of these laws, Bruno and Alm created something new and terrifying.
A pulse spread throughout the universe, startling the cultivators.
"Success," said Bruno, excited, holding a small gray stone with the rune of a Primordial Elemental Spirit of Chaos within it. A true miracle, perhaps unique in history.
"You’ll have to start from scratch and adapt to the body. Though it’s not human or Alv, this bond with chaos laws will infinitely increase your understanding, and one day, you’ll complete your technique," Bruno affirmed, looking into his eyes.
Without delay, they opened the inventory. The two entered, and Mihkriel began connecting to the rune slowly.
With everything ready, Alm and Bruno headed to the new planets, where the entire population was waiting for them.
Leafar was now the representative, spending time talking with everyone.
"Sir." He bowed, and everyone followed. "No one wants to go back; they all accept to live under your rules."
"Good. Soon, the missionaries will arrive and understand the new rules clearly," Bruno stated, turning to Leafar. "As for you… well done. It seems you’re back to your true self. But your place isn’t here; let’s go."
Leafar was confused, but after those words, the dark figure walked away from the planet alone.
[Do you wish to return?] [Yes / No]
"Yes."
Upon confirming, Leafar, who was on the planet, passed out. His body lost its connection with his soul, and he joined the others. Soon, Alm and Bruno were transported back to the Queen’s universe along with everyone else.
