Alm and Bruno’s consciousness suddenly snapped awake. The moment they opened their eyes, they found themselves in an empty space, feeling an immense pressure on their bodies.

’Huh?’ They tried to move, but their muscles wouldn’t respond. They quickly used their souls to investigate, and what they found made them frown.

’We’re sealed,’ Alm murmured seriously before they directed their consciousness toward the inventory.

With a deep sigh, Bruno commented, ’Everyone we brought for the mission has been returned to their bodies.’

Inside the inventory, Mihkriel, in spirit form, was meditating and connecting with the chaos rune. Liumi, Vorion, Fides, and the thousands of souls they rescued from the Phoenix Cry Sect were still there.

Immediately, they turned their attention back to the outside world. Around them were runes from a complex formation, completely holding them captive. The surrounding space was sealed, and even their divine souls couldn’t see very far. Thankfully, though, they were above that now.

With a deep breath, they focused on the heavenly laws. Through them, they could see anything in this universe. If they had enough energy, they could even glimpse other universes and everything that existed, just like they had when talking to the Queen.

In seconds, they noticed that thousands of people were sealed nearby. They were all the allies brought for the main mission, coming from the Nine Star Tree Sect.

First, they probed their souls and found that they were still injured. Although they had enough power to heal everyone before leaving, they chose not to. Their situation in the universe was uncertain; after the recent events, it was likely that the heroes wouldn’t allow the sects to keep their disciples.

Trying to read their memories would be tedious and time-consuming, so they set that aside for later and decided to prioritize hunting the nearby Heaven-Defier. It was predictable that they would be taken somewhere; but if everyone woke up together, it would be very dangerous and unpredictable.

Ruri, Corin, Thea, and Maelik should be safe in the Yinblood sect; Mistie would certainly hide the fact that they had also fallen into a coma. But to be sure, Alm and Bruno didn’t heal them either. So, even with their souls back in their bodies, they would remain injured and unconscious.

After checking everyone’s ’safety,’ Alm and Bruno focused on where they were. It was a closed building, without windows. Feeling strange fluctuations around them, they continued to observe the place... deep down, they saw a large hall where something was strongly sealed. They focused on that until their eyes widened.

They couldn’t see the inside because the heroes’ power kept it locked. Still, they could feel a subtle energy; it was an incomprehensible law.

Bruno noticed a slight connection with the Yang of life, but he knew it was like the Primordial Light; it came from the same source, a power from the beginning of everything.

Suddenly, they noticed something even more surprising. Around the place, hundreds of figures were meditating in silence. However, from the fluctuations of their souls, there was no doubt: they were heroes, and worse...

’They’re immortal-level heroes,’ Alm said dryly.

’That law inside... seems incomplete,’ Bruno confirmed seriously.

Alm reflected, ’This clearly came from the heavenly laws. If it’s incomplete and the immortal heroes are there... it all makes sense. The thing inside that place is the other part of the Cauldron of Chaos and Order.’

When they encountered the four races of space-time, they learned that the Cauldron of Chaos and Order was one of the nine items of the Primordial Chaos Level. Of the three items sealed in this universe, it was the one the Queen was closest to conquering.

The Cauldron had been divided into two parts. And now, they had found where one of those parts was.

’The heroes are using a strange law and slowly invading that sealed part. They’re pretty advanced; they’ll eventually dominate everything,’ Alm concluded, although his expression remained extremely tense.

’This is a big opportunity, but we’ve been thrown in here along with all of them under these conditions...’ Bruno murmured.

They were all sealed in their bodies, and there were hundreds of those immortal heroes there. Fighting head-on was impossible, and even if they pulled off a miracle and escaped; it would be clear that the whale and everyone there were suspects, making it impossible to stay peaceful in this universe.

’There has to be a way out. Let’s see exactly where we are,’ Alm said, and both concentrated on observing the outside of that building.

Through the laws, Alm and Bruno looked from above. As they zoomed out, they realized the building was deep in a dark, eerie sea. As they rose higher, they spotted something frightening: a massive ocean covered in bones.

The remains piled up in the sea, forming mountains. It was hard to see the ocean’s waters due to the amount of bones.

Small islands of bones floated in the sea, creating a terrifying scene, as if death itself hovered over the place.

Most of the skeletons remained intact, as if something had devoured the flesh and left the bones behind.

There were bones of all shapes and sizes, from unimaginable creatures and races. Some were colossal, while others were delicately small.

Entire skeletons of colossal beasts floated like islands, their ribs forming chains of mountains.

There was also a skeleton that resembled a gigantic head, the size of a continent, floating in the sea. However, upon closer inspection, it became clear that it wasn’t just a head; the whole body was submerged below. So... how big would the hand be beneath the sea?

Alm and Bruno fell silent, perplexed by the macabre environment. They quickly realized this wasn’t a planet. The expanse of that bone sea was massive, possibly comparable to a hundred Gloom planets in size.

’We’re in a sealed world... and given the level of everything here and the importance of what’s hidden, it’s a black sealed world, of the highest level.’

Bruno agreed; this was the third and highest level of sealed worlds. They existed in the cores of galaxies and, when opened, allowed everyone to enter the universe.

Calmly exploring the surroundings of that vast world, Alm and Bruno spotted, in the distance, a lone human moving across an island of bones, quite far from the submerged building where they were.

Watching closely, they noticed a glowing golden rune on his forehead. He was clearly an Empyrean, but they couldn’t discern the exact level. They had never seen this type of mark, but judging by the power around him...

’He seems capable of suppressing the death pressure emanating from the bones,’ Alm reflected. ’Years have passed, and the Empyreans in the universe have had time to evolve. We know the power of one at the Ancestral level; so this must be a Sovereign Empyrean.’

Bruno nodded; it was a good assumption. The Sovereign level was the fourth, just below the Supreme Empyrean, the last stage before a hero. The Queen had given a few thousand years for everyone to develop; it hadn’t been that long, so it was unlikely anyone had reached the Supreme level yet.

Intrigued by the presence of this human, the two began searching for signs in other areas. The vastness of that world required a few minutes of searching, but soon they located more and more cultivators.

Before long, the numbers skyrocketed, revealing that the sealed world was being explored at that very moment. They were in the middle of an opening, something that happened once a year and lasted only a few days.

Everyone there, without exception, was a Sovereign Empyrean. With nothing else catching their attention, the two pondered the entire situation seriously.

’We’re trapped, but if we accept the rewards, the tribulation will come and destroy this formation, freeing us,’ Alm considered seriously.

’That way, we can free ourselves and our allies. Since everyone is unconscious and their souls are injured, they can remain in the inventory for a bit longer. In this coma state, maybe two days won’t make a difference.’

Bruno nodded; escaping the seal wouldn’t be the real challenge – the problem would come next. ’The heroes will surround us immediately. But I believe they won’t attack while our celestial annihilation is still happening. Otherwise, its level could rise to the max, risking damage to the seal that holds this important secret.’

Immortal cultivators were above the heavenly laws. This meant their power surpassed the laws, and they had no fear of a celestial annihilation. However, the power of the laws would continue to attack them, even if it was in vain.

Since they were above the formation sealing the cauldron, this power could end up damaging it. Even if they didn’t die from the power of the laws, they couldn’t fully control it and avoid damage around them. The safest option would be to just surround them and wait.

Bruno sighed, ’Let’s say we manage to break through the siege. We might even use the Eraser to escape the sealed world; but we couldn’t return to the Yinblood sect. Anyone who fled would be considered suspicious.’

’There’s only one way,’ Alm declared with a heavy huff. ’We can’t escape... not without eliminating all the evidence from in here and resolving the issues first.’

Bruno, surprised, exclaimed, ’You want to kill all the immortal heroes? We won’t have that capacity anytime soon.’

’Indeed. But why not make them buy us some time? Look at what’s hidden here; if we have time, new possibilities might arise,’ Alm murmured, flashing a dark smile.
