Alm and Bruno meticulously reflected on everything they felt. That whole wild planet was part of a star formation connected to a distant central point. However, this formation was completely hidden and almost impossible to detect, emitting no fluctuations or Qi.

Alm analyzed coldly. ’The formation is manipulating only the power of the soul. Gaia was used by the formation to mark all forms of wildlife on the planet. A small part of their soul energy is being sucked by the formation and taken away.’

’It’s not something so malicious; the life forms neither feel nor suffer great influence from it, but as they are all from the planet, it generates a large amount of soul power. It certainly has a connection with the deceased missionary and the inheritance, the problem is what they want it for,’ said Bruno thoughtfully.

’This beast sect is only average, so this must be a big secret. They didn’t turn this formation into something sinister because it would attract too much attention. Sucking just a little, it would be almost impossible for an outsider to notice,’ said Alm dryly before a villainous smile appeared on his face. ’Excellent; soul power? Let’s see how they’ll handle ours.’

Immediately, Alm and Bruno separated a fragment of their souls and sent it directly to the core of the formation. These were divine souls, and even with just a fragment, they could feel, see, and interact as if it were a complete soul. Definitely, the formation wouldn’t be able to deal with this; but it would open its doors for them to enter easily.

The two felt their souls being absorbed by the formation. Then, the connected runes sucked them in and carried them through the laws of space; in seconds, they were on another distant planet. They didn’t need to ask where they were; they clearly felt numerous auras with divine cultivation together - that was the planet where the Wild Roar sect was located.

To their surprise, they weren’t taken to the core of that planet. The center of the star formation was on the surface, at the southernmost tip of the planet. Upon arriving there, Alm and Bruno immediately closed their eyes; instinctual fury welled up within them. They felt a power well known and hated; it was the fluctuations of a hero.

They were taken beneath the planet’s surface by the formation. Quickly, those soul fragments approached a closed-off region. It wasn’t very large, it was just over five hundred meters. But they felt that its entire circumference was being protected by the most powerful cultivators of the place.

Upon entering, they found themselves in a golden world, and their divine souls felt great discomfort.

’This is the power of the hero... and the power coming from a Dao Heart,’ Bruno said seriously. ’This is a remnant region, created from the attacking power of a true hero of this universe.’

For the two who had already reached the peak of divine cultivation and beyond, this was something common to see. After reaching the last divine realms, even divine laws were fragile in the face of the total power of a cultivator. It was common after a maximum attack, for a great terrifying mark to remain in place influencing an entire region or planet. But in a few centuries, that should have disappeared.

Alm remained silent, feeling everything around him. At the center of it all, there was a giant cut in the earth; that was the epicenter of all the golden power. There was no doubt, that was the place where the missionary died. The hero attacked with all his might, and the result lasted until today.

’The missionary shouldn’t have been so strong. She and the former leader of the Moonlight family were together, and the family helped kill them to clear their name. There’s no reason for the hero to have attacked at 100%, and the result persists until today,’ Bruno analyzed doubtfully.

The two fragments of Alm and Bruno’s souls were left in the center of the place, and nothing else happened. They realized that the entire star formation was something simple and ridiculous, like a pipe that connected various places and only brought them to that point. Since nothing happened to them, it was difficult to understand.

Time passed as they analyzed everything around them. They felt all the connections of the formation; there were almost eight connected planets. Finally, they saw a wave of soul power being brought. They watched attentively until the golden power of the place swallowed everything and immediately felt the changes in the environment. All the remaining will was fueled by the soul power, and it destroyed them.

’The heroic power merged with the will coming from the Dao Heart, so this attack... yes, this is a technique made to completely destroy the soul of the missionary,’ Bruno concluded.

Alm grinned sinisterly. ’Looks like the missionary proved terrifying enough for the hero to have no choice but to kill her, destroying her soul and all her power. Everything indicates that Kaiyka was a terrifying soul cultivator; with her divine soul being used for the attack, she cornered the hero.’

Both easily understood what was happening there, from the evidence. The hero’s will and attacking power destroyed any soul power. This should remain for a while, and after everything was destroyed, it would disappear. But this formation was constantly fed with more soul power, making this region remain until today. That was the sect’s goal.

The beasts seized the opportunity that arose. Outsiders would feel the hero’s power, and due to their adoration, they would simply accept that this power was beyond their comprehension. So, they wouldn’t suspect that the sect held a valuable treasure: this place. Making the formation subtle was to leave no traces.

’They were clever. This hero’s will is capable of destroying a soul, but with care, it can be used as training to increase soul power. Beasts are known for below-average intelligence and even more limited soul power; this is a unique and efficient training ground. The danger of dying is high, but the profits are immense,’ said Alm emotionlessly.

Bruno reflected, observing around. Quickly, he noticed that there were no cultivators inside; for the beasts, this place must be deadly, and only from time to time, after much preparation, some selected ones entered.

An idea sprouted in both their minds, so they acted quickly. They moved to the center of the place, at the large cut in the ground. Then, without hesitation, they accessed their divine souls to the fullest.

Suddenly, the whole planet trembled violently as if it were the end of the world. All the sect’s beasts quickly fled, frightened, and looked at the distant place to the south of the planet.

Then, they broke out in a cold sweat, and their hearts almost leaped out of their mouths. The entire golden region began to expand rapidly. It began devouring everything around it with infinite power. In a matter of seconds, a third of the planet was taken, and it continued to expand and seemed endless...

Back on the wild planet. The whale opened its eyes slowly, feeling that a part of its soul was destroyed, then a villainous smile spread across its face.

’Great, we efficiently fed that power to them. They led us, now they must accept us,’ commented Bruno, laughing lightly.

The whale slowly got up, then they felt Ruri’s location through the array. Two days had passed while they were focused on the other planet with their souls. They left completely unconcerned and headed in her direction.

When they arrived, they saw Ruri and Kaiyka standing giving orders. An army of beasts was being used by them... as slaves.

"Master!" Ruri called out, smiling, and jumped to grab their arms intimately. "We’ve mastered everything. We made them work and bring all the treasures from this place. They knew the location of all the good stuff, but didn’t want to harvest to wait to become more powerful. Now their owner has come to take it all."

The whale nodded and received several spatial rings. That herb they came to dominate? Ruri, using her mental power, in two seconds, sealed them and stored them as if they were nothing. Along with them, in the rings, there was an immense variety of herbs and some ores.

"Bring them all, we will implant new memories. They should be left with evidence that the work was done perfectly," the whale said, and took those herbs from the work. They took a few leaves from the herb. With just that, they could replant them and make them grow in the city.

With Ruri and the whale creating false memories in the souls and bodies of everyone, and they keeping the herbs from the work, all their actions will be cleansed. They placed in the memories that Kaiyka, Ruri, and the whale worked together for several days and completed the work perfectly. Then, the alchemists delivered the reward, and thus the trio returned home. Nothing different happened, and everyone possessed the same memories according to their perspectives.

It took a while for the sect to notice that all the valuable things cataloged on the wild planet had been taken. They won’t know when or how it happened. They will investigate all the guards, and even investigating their memories, they won’t see anything wrong. Everything was done without leaving a trace.

"Shouldn’t we use them to enter the sect?" Kaiyka asked the whale, unsure.

The whale replied lightly, "No need. We stirred up some trouble, and now the whole sect and planet are in chaos. It’ll be easy to invade and go for our objective."

Ruri heard and chuckled maliciously at the news. They left the planet and moved through space toward their goal. There was a simple teleportation formation that the sect members used, but they couldn’t use it to avoid leaving traces.

Kaiyka knew the journey would take two months, and she wondered what could have happened for the entire sect to be in chaos all this time. But when they were a bit away from that wild planet, the whale waved to Ruri.

She moved ahead, and on her forehead, the hero’s rune lit up. At the same time, immense spatial power surged, along with a dozen multicolored runes. They were the runes of the Formation God’s Dao, along with all the spatial power of her inner rune.

All the laws began to distort, and spatial fissures spun around them like deadly blades. Kaiyka saw the blades and felt a cold sweat running down her back; they could split her in half and kill her easily. She fully understood what Ruri intended to do, completely shocked. She was recreating a spatial distortion similar to the family’s formation, but using only her power.

"We can’t travel like this. Without the support of the formation and its defensive power, we will be destroyed by the laws..." Kaiyka began to speak quickly but was interrupted. Ruri turned around, and she grabbed her hand and pulled her.

Kaiyka was pulled behind the whale, and the two of them stood there, very close to him. Kaiyka looked at those gigantic back and shoulders; he was like a mountain... was he protecting them like a shield?

Suddenly Kaiyka was pushed by Ruri toward the whale’s back. "Hold onto his back tightly, don’t be shy."

The two of them stood there together, then Ruri waved, and the world around the three of them distorted completely. In the next second, a sea of annihilating blades fell upon them, all coming from the front, and the round flesh shield received everything directly.

Kaiyka paled, watching it approach... but nothing happened.

The blades seemed like drops of water falling on a block of steel. The whale was impenetrable, and the two clung tightly to his back, feeling his powerful heartbeat.

He took everything head-on and protected them without even a drop of blood or sweat. Physical cultivation combined with the laws of the earth was an unbelievably overpowered combination. It wasn’t that the whale wasn’t suffering damage; his defenses were extreme and significantly reduced the damage, then his physical regeneration was so powerful that he healed immediately as if nothing had happened. An hour passed, then all the space distorted and returned to normal.

"We’ve arrived," Ruri said with a slightly tired expression. Then she turned to the side, and her gaze narrowed slightly. "You can let go now; he already has an owner."

Kaiyka, who was firmly clinging to the whale’s back and seemed reluctant to let go, heard and quickly jumped away with a slightly flushed face. Then, trying to disguise it, she turned back and saw a green and gigantic planet a bit ahead. But... half of it was pulsating in gold?

They had reached their destination. They traveled at an abnormal speed and crossed a great distance as if it were nothing. It was exactly the same method as the family’s formation. Ruri reproduced it easily using the multicolored runes, her spatial laws, and many resources she had accumulated.

"Good job," the whale said softly and stroked Ruri’s head, who smiled.
