Chapter 1131: Chapter 1131:- Training [iii]

Although his first attempt ended in failure and he could not even complete the technique, let alone fire it like a bullet toward an enemy, Aditya did not feel disappointed in the slightest.

On the contrary, He expected the technique to fail.

Creating a completely new technique had never been something that could be accomplished on the first try. Every failure simply taught him what part of the technique needed to be improved.

Without wasting any time, Aditya created another sphere of Crimson Flame and started the entire process from the beginning.

The second attempt failed.

Then came the third.

The fourth.

The fifth.

One after another, Aditya repeated the exact same process.

By the time he reached his tenth attempt, every single one had ended in failure.

Sometimes he managed to compress the Crimson Flame successfully, only for it to lose stability when he added more Mana. Other times, he accidentally increased the gravitational force just a little too much, causing the compressed sphere to collapse. On a few occasions, the gravity became slightly weaker than it should have been, allowing the Crimson Flame to suddenly expand and explode before he could regain control.

Every failure happened for a different reason. The technique was simply too complicated.

Aditya was not controlling one thing. He was controlling three things at the same time.

First, he had to continuously pour more Mana into the Crimson Flame without stopping. As more Mana entered the sphere, its destructive power increased, but so did its desire to expand.

Second, he had to constantly increase the surrounding gravitational force at exactly the same pace. If the gravity became stronger too quickly, the Crimson Flame would become unstable. If it became stronger too slowly, the flame would expand faster than the gravity could compress it.

Finally came the hardest part. He had to make the Mana inside the Crimson Flame move in two different ways at the same time. One part of the Mana had to swirl around inside the sphere in a circular motion, much like water spinning inside a whirlpool.

At the same time, the Mana also had to spiral inward toward the centre of the sphere, creating another layer of movement.

Neither type of rotation could stop. Neither could become faster or slower than the other. Everything had to remain perfectly balanced while he continued adding Mana and increasing the surrounding gravity.

Trying to control all three processes simultaneously demanded an incredible amount of concentration.

Even a tiny mistake, such as A slight increase in gravity, a little too much mana, or an unstable rotation, was enough to destroy the entire technique in an instant.

Still, Aditya never became frustrated.

Each failure gave him a better understanding of where he had gone wrong, and with every new attempt, his control became slightly better than before. He knew that mastering a technique of this level would never happen overnight. It would require patience, countless failures, and relentless practice until every movement became instinctive.

Time continued moving forward as Aditya repeated the process over and over again. Every failure taught him something new, allowing him to make small adjustments before attempting the technique again.

Finally, on his seventeenth attempt, everything came together.

A tiny sphere of Crimson Flame floated above his palm. It was only slightly smaller than a human eyeball, yet Aditya could clearly sense the terrifying amount of energy compressed inside it. Despite its small size, the surrounding air felt unusually heavy because of the enormous pressure contained within the sphere.

Seeing that he had finally succeeded in creating the technique, Aditya moved on to the final step.

Launching it!

His idea was actually very simple.

He planned to use Gravity Manipulation to propel the compressed Crimson Flame forward at tremendous speed. The principle was similar to drawing the string of a bow before releasing an arrow. Gravity would first pull the compressed sphere backwards slightly, storing force behind it. The moment he released that force, gravity would instantly push the sphere forward like an arrow leaving a bow.

In theory, it was a simple concept. But in practice, it was anything but simple.

Having never attempted this final step before, Aditya lacked the necessary experience to control the tremendous forces involved. The moment he tried to launch the compressed Crimson Flame, the balance between the compressed Mana, Gravity Manipulation, and the rotating energy inside the sphere instantly collapsed.

The tiny crimson sphere violently trembled.

Then, instead of launching it exploded.

Boom!!

Instead of shooting forward, all of the energy trapped inside the miniature sphere exploded right in front of Aditya’s face.

The explosion was so powerful that the surrounding forest shook violently. Trees bent from the shockwave, while a massive cloud of dust and Crimson Flames erupted into the sky. From several kilometres away, anyone witnessing the scene would have believed that an incredibly powerful battle had just taken place.

Fortunately, the instant Aditya sensed the technique becoming unstable, his instincts took over.

He immediately teleported away from the centre of the explosion.

Although he still suffered a few minor injuries from the blast, they were nowhere near serious enough to threaten his life. Standing several hundred meters away, Aditya quietly looked back at the smoke rising from the explosion.

Instead of feeling frustrated, He smiled. This failure had taught him something just as valuable as his previous ones. Successfully creating the compressed sphere was only half of the technique.

Launching it safely was an entirely separate challenge.

If he wanted this attack to become practical in battle, he would first need to figure out how to release all that compressed power without disturbing the delicate balance inside the sphere.

Only after solving that final problem would the technique truly be complete.

After nearly six hours of nonstop practice, Aditya finally lowered his hand. He frowned slightly as he looked at his left palm.

It was starting to hurt.

The pain did not come from burns. Instead, it came from repeatedly compressing an enormous amount of Mana and Gravity into such a tiny space. Every time he created the technique, his palm had to remain extremely close to the compressed Crimson Flame. Although the attack never directly touched his skin, the intense pressure generated by the compressed energy constantly pushed against his hand. After repeating the same process hundreds of times, the muscles, bones, and even the Mana pathways inside his palm had begun to ache from the continuous strain.

At the same time, Aditya could feel that his Mana reserves were nearly exhausted. Throughout the entire training session, he had relied on Mana Recovery Pills to restore his Mana every time it ran low. Without them, he would have been forced to stop training hours ago.

However, he could not continue taking them indefinitely.

Alchemy pills were powerful, but they were never meant to be consumed one after another without restraint. Taking too many pills within a short period placed a burden on the body. The medicinal energy would gradually accumulate inside the meridians and organs, reducing the effectiveness of future pills while potentially harming both the body and one’s cultivation foundation if abused.

Aditya knew better than to become dependent on them. No matter how urgently he wanted to perfect this technique, there was no point in damaging his own body in the process.

After nearly six hours of nonstop experimentation and after losing count of how many times he had failed, Aditya could not help but feel a little frustrated. It was a perfectly normal reaction.

He had solved one problem after another, only to discover an entirely new problem waiting for him. Every time he felt he was on the verge of success, the technique would fail during the final step.

Since he no longer had enough Mana to continue experimenting, Aditya decided to stop for now.

He walked over to the same large square-shaped rock where the steel sword had rested earlier while he was training his Spatial Manipulation. Sitting down on the cool stone, he rested his elbows on his knees and quietly stared at the forest ahead.

He began thinking about the technique itself.

Aditya replayed every single attempt in his mind, carefully analysing where things had gone wrong. He considered changing the amount of gravity. He thought about slowing the rotation. Then he wondered whether he should reduce the amount of Mana being compressed or perhaps change the order in which he performed each step.

No matter which direction he approached the problem from, every solution seemed to create another weakness elsewhere. The technique was like a complicated puzzle. Whenever he solved one piece, another piece immediately became unstable.

For the first time since beginning this training, Aditya found himself unable to see the path forward.

No matter how long he sat there thinking, he simply could not find the missing piece that would allow the technique to be completed.
