Chapter 530: Chapter 530: Mika Summers VS Tristan Grayson (30)

Leo Joyce suppressed the complex emotions churning inside him and said calmly, "Tiana, come down. Let’s talk this out."

"There’s nothing to talk about. Just go. I’ve already made up my mind."

When Leo Joyce saw how determined Tiana was, he practically roared, "Tiana Grayson, get down here!"

"I’m not coming down! Just go! And from now on, don’t ever come looking for me again." ’If we’re going to end this, it has to be a clean break. From now on, I have to completely give up any thought of being with Leo Joyce.’

"Tiana, can you really bear to leave me? Can you really bear for us to never see each other again?"

"I can..." ’Even though she couldn’t truly forget Leo Joyce right now, she told herself that one day, she would. No one is truly incapable of living without someone else.’

Leo Joyce clenched his fists and took two steps back, his tone turning icy. "Fine. If you can really bear it, then I’ll leave right now. And I will disappear from this world completely." With that, Leo Joyce turned and walked toward the Graysons’ front gate.

Hearing Leo Joyce’s words and watching Leo’s retreating figure, a sudden fear gripped Tiana’s heart. ’What is he going to do?’

’From this world? Disappear completely?’

Tiana was so scared she forgot to cry. She spun around and ran for the door, terrified that if she was even a step too slow, Leo would be gone.

Her heart trembled uncontrollably. The moment she opened her bedroom door, she saw the light in her parents’ room was on, but Tiana had no time to think about it. She bolted down the stairs.

By this time, Leo Joyce had already opened the Graysons’ front gate and was standing beside his car.

Tiana threw open the front door. Seeing Leo Joyce about to get into his car and leave, she shouted through her tears, "Leo Joyce! If you dare let something happen to you, I’ll make something happen to me, too!"

At the sound of her voice, Leo Joyce froze, his movement to get into the car halting.

His heart seemed to slowly begin to tremble and ache. It was a feeling he’d never had before, an emotion so oppressive it was driving him mad.

Seeing Leo standing there motionless, Tiana wiped away her tears and walked toward him.

"Even if we break up, there’s no need to hurt yourself. Leo, can’t we just break up peacefully and go our separate ways?"

’A peaceful breakup? Go our separate ways? Easier said than done...’

Leo Joyce looked down with a self-mocking laugh, then turned to face Tiana Grayson. Even though it was the middle of the night and pitch-dark, he immediately saw her swollen, red eyes, and her bare feet.

’If she could really bear to leave him, why would she have run down here without even bothering to put on shoes?’

’This woman... she really made him feel both furious and heartbroken.’

’She obviously liked him, yet she insisted on pushing him away.’

Leo Joyce suppressed the complex and painful emotions he’d just felt. He cursed in a low voice, "Idiot! You absolute idiot!" As he spoke, he strode toward her. When he reached her side, he bent down and swept her up from the ground into his arms. "If you want to break up with me, then you have to tell me to my face, right now, that you don’t like me, that you have no feelings for me whatsoever. Otherwise, you can forget about leaving me for the rest of your life."

"Leo Joyce! P-put me down!"

"I’m not letting go. If you can’t say it, that means you still have feelings for me." As soon as he finished speaking, Leo Joyce bent his head and kissed her forcefully.

Tears streamed down Tiana’s face as she pushed against Leo Joyce with both hands, but the more she struggled, the more passionately he kissed her, leaving her breathless.
