Chapter 531: Chapter 531: Mika Summers VS Tristan Grayson (31)

Worried sick, Mae Lynch shouted toward the courtyard, "Tiana, what are you two doing?"

At the sound of her voice, Leo Joyce released Tiana Grayson’s lips. Tiana, both furious and embarrassed, struggled even more fiercely. "Leo Joyce, my mom’s here! Let me down, quick!"

"I’m not letting go. I don’t care who’s here." As he spoke, Leo Joyce turned around, still holding Tiana, and faced her parents at the door. He nodded and said coolly, "Grayson, Mrs. Grayson, I’m terribly sorry to disturb you so late. However, I have something to discuss with Tiana tonight. Please rest assured, Tiana will be fine. I’ll bring her back on time first thing tomorrow morning."

"Oh. Well, if you have something to discuss, then go on and discuss it," Caleb Grayson replied casually, as if he hadn’t quite processed the situation.

"Alright, we’ll be on our way then." With Grayson’s permission, Leo Joyce turned and left immediately, still carrying Tiana.

Tiana Grayson was so stunned in Leo Joyce’s arms that she even forgot to struggle or cry.

’My dad actually agreed to let Leo Joyce take me away in the middle of the night?’

Watching the car drive away from the main gate, Mae Lynch finally snapped back to her senses. She spun around and glared at Caleb Grayson indignantly. "Caleb, how could you just let that man take our Tiana away?"

Caleb Grayson didn’t seem to think much of it. "It’s the kids’ business. Just let them sort it out themselves."

"Sort it out themselves? In the middle of the night, you’re telling them to sort it out themselves?" Mae Lynch exclaimed, both shocked and furious.

"Oh, come on. We’re too old for this. Stop worrying yourself sick over nothing. Go on back to bed." With that, Caleb Grayson turned and walked away.

Mae Lynch glanced at the wide-open main gate, then at Caleb Grayson, who was completely unconcerned about the whole affair. She was so angry she burst into tears.

’What sins did I commit to deserve this? How could I have ever fallen for a man like him!’

The more she thought about it, the angrier she became. Mae Lynch hurried after Caleb Grayson, pointing at his back and shouting, "Caleb Grayson, I’ve had enough of you! We’re getting a divorce! First thing tomorrow!"

Caleb Grayson turned around. Seeing Mae Lynch throwing a tearful tantrum, he sighed softly. He walked over to her and gently took her hand, which was still raised in the air. "Let the kids handle their own business. Tiana is a grown woman now. She knows full well what she should and shouldn’t be doing."

"Easy for you to say, Caleb Grayson! A man and a woman, alone, in the middle of the night—what could they possibly have to talk about? I see it now, you don’t even care about Tiana as your daughter!" Mae Lynch shook his hand off and ran toward the living room, crying.

She picked up the phone and immediately called Tristan Grayson.

「Newcroft, Villa District.」

Tristan Grayson had just managed to coax his wife into a good mood and climbed into bed. He was just getting ready to go a few rounds with her when his phone on the nightstand started ringing.

Annoyed by the ringtone, Tristan Grayson climbed off of Mika Summers. He reached over and grabbed his phone. When he saw the call was from his family home, he frowned, sat up, and answered it.

As soon as he answered, he heard a woman’s sobbing on the other end. Tristan’s expression darkened, and he asked coolly, "Mom, what’s wrong?"

"Tristan, I’m going to divorce your father!"

"Divorce?" Tristan Grayson shot upright in shock. He clutched his phone tightly and said in a low voice, "Mom, it’s the middle of the night. This isn’t the time for jokes."

"I’m not joking! Your father and I are getting a divorce immediately! Tristan, you have to come pick me up. I can’t stand to be here with him a moment longer."
