Chapter 255: Chapter 255: Back (2)

The mountain shook and collapsed, Lilith came out under the rubble. Adrian took a fighting stance.

His chest lot up with silver light and out came an artefact. The artefact looked like three rings.

At the very centre was a silver orb of glowing light, then the most inner and smallest ring, weapons were drawn all over the ring.

Amongst those two weapons, a shield and chain were the largest and glowed the brightest as well.

Then the second ring, a bit larger than the inner ring, it too had different weapons drawn all over its body.

The largest and brightest were a bow and a sword then the most outer and largest ring with a spear and full body armour drawn on it.

This weapon was something Adrian had been working on for tens of thousands of years on Niflheim.

He managed to complete it around 2 000 thousand years ago and it was the reason he managed to fight a level 8 monster to a stand still.

This was the second time he brought it out for battle, this weapon was made entirely out of his esper.

Adrian had the ability to shape his lunar esper into any weapon he desires but those weapons are weak and temporary.

In his boredom he tried something different, instead of creating temporary weapons, he tried making permanent ones.

But he later learnt the amount of esper needed for something like that was staggering and so a new Idea appeared.

He combined this new Idea with his idea of condensing ambient esper thus he created something that can absorb ambient lunar esper.

And so this weapon was created, the more esper the orb at the centre absorbs, the stronger the weapons on the three rings become.

There were more to it than the weapons, like the suppression effect, both mental and physical by using telepathy and telekinesis on it.

This thing he had created on a whim surprised him, not only did the weapons become as real as metal forged weapons.

They can grow endlessly in power, the rings flew behind him then expanded creating a silver halo four hundred metres in diameter.

The orb at the center started spinning and the rings followed. The most inner and outer ring started spinning in the same direction.

While the second ring was spinning in the opposite direction. Adrian floated in front of the giant silver orb.

His gaze firmly locked on Lilith who was looking at him with interest. " When did you break out of my control?" She asked.

" I was never really understand your control." He touched his left eye which was now a pitch black spiral.

Through that eye he could see her authority oozing out of her into the surroundings, had others been around.

They would’ve been affected by her authority and consumed by lust and in return feed back to her authority increasing her power.

In fact, before going to Adrian she had turned multiple towns and even a relatively large city into a den of lust.

It was easier than she had expected it to be, Fayera, especially shifters were truly repressed in their nature.

Since her ability doesn’t lead people to murder each other, the authorities didn’t interfere.

On the contrary, she ended up helping her brother Greed, when those in power saw the state of the people under her authority.

All they saw was profits, there were many amongst the Fayera, even Espara who would pay to dwell in a place of such lust.

Where they can walk naked as they see fit and even have anybody they desire since those people are too consumed by lust.

Of course, Lilith wouldn’t allow herself to lose out in this, it would be undemonic of her.

In exchange for the increasing Greed of the leaders, her brother was to protect the places of her authority.

His combat ability was certainly stronger than hers, there was no doubt about that, even so, that didn’t mean she was weak.

The places under her authority were feeding back into her constantly increasing her strength so when faced with Adrian, are wasn’t scared.

Adrian saw her calm gaze and he frowned, the weapon behind him released a tremendous aura.

Logically, she should be worried by now but her calmness made him wonder where she got her confidence.

No matter how hard Adrian looked, even through his new eye, her power didn’t seem to be impressive eveh though it was growing.

He wondered how she would feel if he cancelled her authority instead of an ability but when he read the patterns of her authority, his head felt like it was splitting.

’ I should’ve expected that, authorities are laws of nature bound to spirits, there’s no way they would be as simple as abilities.

What I just tried is no different from trying to cancel and Djinn’s wish.’ he shook his head and stopped reading her authority.

He raised his hand, the bow on the ring glowed as bright as the moon and the next moment it was in his hand.

He pulled the string and an arrow materialised between his fingers. Lilith still didn’t move.

He released, a silver streak shot out as fast as lightning, this was the fastest attack he had in his arsenal.

Even his lightning related abilities were not as fast. It should be mentioned that lightning speed is mostly for those at level 8.

Those below can not move that fast, only a few special exceptions, Adrian bet he would be faster than lightning at level 7.

But currently, reaching Mach 600 or so was his absolute limit. Now that he thought about it.

That was faster than the initial phase of lightning. His thoughts ran a thousand in a split second.

His arrow met its mark and pierced through Lilith body, instead of dodging she did the most ridiculous thing Adrian could’ve thought of.

In fact, he never would’ve thought of this. She shifted her body slightly, the arrow which was aiming for her head hit her chest.

Specifically, it hit one of her large breasts and instead of the bloody scene he had expected.

The arrow sunk into her breasts like it was quicksand. Adrian stood frozen, in his wildest imagination, this was the last thing he could’ve thought of.

He lowered his bow, a single nice from her drained his desire to fight. " You are a very strange thing."

Lilith seemed to enjoy everything that had just happened. ’ Fighting this masochistic is pointless.’ he thought to himself.

" On the account of you getting me out of that cursed place, I’ll spare your worthless life only this once, get out of my sight you vermin."

" Mmhhhhh." Lilith moaned, his insults seemed to excite her. " My my, your words are quite hurtful heart of destruction, do it more."

’ Yeah, she’s a degenerate, I don’t want to deal with this woman.’ Adrian felt a shiver in his spine.

He turned his head and met cold green eyes staring at him.
