Chapter 254: Chapter 254: Back.

Annie was the first to feel him but it wasn’t long before the others felt him too, even those who has remained hidden felt him.

His presence brought an all encompassing suppression on their bloodline making their esper dance with excitement.

No matter where they were in the world, they felt him. Those at level 5 who were more sensitive to esper felt it even more.

The lunar esper in the atmosphere became more active as if celebrating the arrival of the king.

The werewolves were not the only ones to detect his presence, the prison guards stationed by the high council to guard him woke up.

They’ve been guarding the world piercer which was the only thing that can drill a hole through space time connecting Niflheim to Alguard.

However at this moment, the world piercer suddenly reacted and flashed with red light. They jumped up to check the readings.

" Something got out, how is this possible? Only a demigod should have such power." One of the whispered with a shaking voice.

In their readings, only one being escaped from Niflheim but over the years, all the other prisoners had died leaving only the wolf.

The monsters of Niflheim were not only just mindless things, they couldn’t survive outside of Niflheim.

The guard captain knew more than the other guards, upon its destruction, Niflheim was flooded by primal chaos.

It’s the reason those monsters can move as if alive then though they had no souls, it’s also the reason they couldn’t be killed.

The only thing that can destroy them is chaos itself but very few beings in existence can touch upon let alone wield chaos.

Those monsters would never leave Niflheim which left only one possibility, the king of wolves has escaped.

They sent the message to headquarters and when it was reported. The four inquisitors sat contemplatively.

However one of them had a small smile the others did not even notice. " What should we do?" The old of them asked.

They turned towards the high judge but he just stroked his long white beard, " We will no nothing."

This caught the inquisitors by surprise, they knew how ruthless the high judge was to those who violate the laws of the high council.

The judge explained, " We have come to an agreement with the blood queen, we are not to touch the wolves.

In exchange, her and Morgana will not take direct action to stop the apocalypse, however we can send the youngsters just as they can warn and advise the wolves."

The four nodded, they knew of this agreement as well as they were there when it was signed.

As for why the blood queen was so eager to protect the wolves even though her own race were enemies with them, they couldn’t figure that out.

But then again, considering her relationship with her own people for the past 13 000 years, maybe she’s doing it out of spite.

After all, she is one of the two leaders of the vampires. The public, including lower ranked and younger vampires thought vampires had a single archduke vampire.

But they knew the truth, Dracullara was another, in fact in the human world she was more famous than Velcad.

But the humans thought she was a male and her name is Dracula but that was beside the point.

The reason for her fame was simple, of the two she’s the more hot headed one, her emotions are very volatile.

Over 20 thousand years ago she killed two demigods alongside their entire faction in three days.

Simply because a young vampire girl she had taken as a subordinates was killed by soldiers of that kingdom.

So it was understandable why they would try to avoid her at any cost, especially now since sunlight no longer worked on her.

As a archduke, stakes can not kill her either, they can hurt her but they can’t kill he, one would need a stake made from a special tree to kill her.

But that tree no longer exists because she searched for and destroyed all of them tens of thousands of years ago.

The inquisitors sighed but at the very least they can still send subordinates, besides, only they were counted in the deal.

Meaning level 8 experts under them can still take action and as strong as those wolves were, they were too young.

There was no way any of them had reached level 8 yet so there was still hope. After all, this apocalypse was their only path to Godhood.

In the ancient era when the nine realms prospered, god’s were born like chicken, they fought over resources and territory.

When the ancient era ended and the seven realms fell, the number of gods being born lowered.

In the old era when the witches, the Espara rose and the Holy church rose, the number of Gods born barely reached a dozen.

While the calamity of the old era was nothing compared to that of the ancient era, it was still beyond what the current era could handle.

The issue was, the creatures that brought an end to the old era were still alive, sealed and bound beneath the core of the world but they were alive.

Should they rise, the current era would fall without question and this time, nothing would survive, nobody can stop them.

Ever since the old era, not a single god has been born in the world, it was as if the Alguard could not support the rise of a God.

However they found a scroll from the ancient era buried in one of the wildernesses, this scroll had a record of a way.

A way to break through the limit of a demigod and establish a true divine realm this becoming a god.

According to the scroll, the answer lies beyond the 12 seals, actually there was no real method mentioned.

That all the scroll had, " The path to Godhood lies beyond the 12 seals." They were the ones who concluded the apocalypse needed to happen based on that.

If Meggie heard their thoughts she would’ve been so furious she might explode. She who had once started the apocalypse knew.

She knew what lay beyond the 12 seals and it was anything but hope. However these desperate demigods had become too obsessed.

--------------------------------------

As for Adrian, he reappeared on an empty field with Lilith who was still hanging on to him.

A few seconds passed and she still did not let go, when Adrian confirmed they were really back in the realm beyond the mist.

He breathed a sigh of relief then broke her control, this caught her by suprise but before she could react he punched her.

She flew back like a pink streak and got embedded on a distant mountain.
