Everybody stood up besides four, Naija was understandable, she would never leave her station as a librarian unless Adrian orders it.

She was too dedicated to the role he assigned her she had made it her identity by this point.

Sam was, well too lazy, he won’t move unless she orders him to but she wasn’t going to do that.

It’s not like they needed everybody, just a few dozen will do but the ones who suprised her the most were Louis and Charlie.

She looked at Louis then walked towards them, Annie leaned forward and sniffed her. " How far along?" She asked with a smile.

The others were surprised except Alex who seem to have known, which made sense, his nose was even stronger than Annie’s.

Perhaps even stronger than Adrian’s, if Annie can smell the child in Louis’s womb then he definitely can as well.

Louis smiled softly and rubbed her belly, " Five years, it wasn’t intentional but we have been doing it multiple times a for the past 60 years. It was inevitable that I would get pregnant."

The others looked surprised then happy for her, they started congratulating the two of them.

Annie placed her hand on Louis’s belly and closed her eyes. She uses her ability to search inside her then frowned.

" Your baby’s development is really slow, it doesn’t look like you’ll be giving birth anytime soon.

Don’t want though, there’s nothing wrong with the little one, longer lived races have longer gestation periods.

From legends, it’s believed dragons carried their pregnancy for a minimum of a thousand years.

Apparently because of how complicated their genetic makeup was, it took much longer for it for form a complete structure but those are just legends."

Louis nodded, " It doesn’t matter, to be honest I barely feel it, my strength hasn’t dropped even by a little.

I just don’t want to risk anything since I don’t understand anything about this, it’s nothing like my first pregnancy when I was a human.

Back then, I could barely walk a few kilometres without my knees swelling and by back hurt all the time.

But this little one, isn’t inconveniencing his mother at all, also I think he only grows on the night of a full moon, maybe that’s why it’s so slow."

Everybody could see how happy Louis was, they understood her past and knew how much she loved children.

Charlie looked just as excited but unlike his mate, it was obvious he also wanted to follow Annie.

Desire for battle was in their blood, the influence was subtle but it was there and they could all feel it.

On normal days it was easier to resist but on a full moon, that savage desire is let lose, unfortunately, Annie would never let him follow her now.

Not to mention he doubted Louis would agree either, she might just start swinging her knives at him.

He looked enviously at the others then gave Sam a disdainful glare but the lazy guy did not care one bit.

" To think a 90 year old woman can still get pregnant." Sam commented lazily, everybody turned towards him.

" Ouch." He winced as a silver knive pierced through his neck, Louis was glaring at him coldly and so were the other women.

Even though they were immortal now, they were once humans with a short lifespan, being called old was not pleasant.

But it was true, sometimes they all found it hard to believe, the oldest of them were nearly a hundred years old now.

Annie’s parents, Sanchez, Louis, and Charlie, all of them were in their late 30’s sixty years ago.

Fred was over 40 years old so he was already over a hundred but unlike the women he looked proud.

" To think this old man would live to see a hundred, I must truly thank my lord for giving me such a gift." He laughed.

The others ignored him, after the women chatted with Louis asking a few questions they left.

Annie told them to split up and gather information but not to engage greed should they find him.

Like Bloody Mary, he had a sphere of influence, as long as you stay out of said sphere he could effect you.

The werewolves nodded and split up, Sanchez and Annie left together following the last trail.

They arrived at the bar, police were still surrounding the place since it was still a crime scene.

Annie covered the two of them with her ability. Annie’s abilities were all related to mental lunar esper.

Telepathy and telekinesis were the basic of her abilities. She can create illusions at will especially within her domain.

After reaching level 6 she gained a new ability even though her control over it was still weak.

Turning her illusions into reality and reality into an illusion but currently her limit was something like a pen.

Even that drains nearly 80 percent of her esper so it wasn’t very useful as if yet but she was still only at level 6.

The mental bubble she surrounded the two of them with made them invisible to others weaker than her.

They weren’t really invisible, she was just interfering with the target’s brain waves, their brains couldn’t receive any information about her.

Her ability was quite similar to how the rings worked but it was more grounded and more precise.

The rings removes attention, people can still see you, your image register in their minds but they ignore you and completely forgot about you.

After learning this ability, she realised she didn’t really understand how the rings truly worked but they were more impressive than her ability.

Her ability was more direct, anybody close to her in power even if weaker can tell their brains were being interfered with.

But the rings made that impossible, you won’t suspect anything wrong. She was distracted by marvelling at the rings.

She didn’t even notice they were already inside the bar, as soon as they got in they smelled that scent.

" He was here alright." Sanchez confirmed, they went to the back to check the CCTV footage.

But the tape had been taken by the police, if they wanted to know what exactly happened here, they needed that tape.
